  1. At least he doesn't have a cordia..
  2. I've got brand new output shafts that came with my Nismo diff so that's no drama, I'll just make sure I get a non-ABS housing. Cheers Dave!
  3. He doesn't want 200rwkw though so it's pointless. IMO I think he's aiming pretty low.. 300hp @ crank is maybe 250rwhp, which is what my stock RB20 with RB25 turbo made without breaking a sweat. Obviously it's not as responsive as the stock turbo but if it's only aiming for 300hp @ crank then what's the point of spending bulk $$ on a name brand turbo and the supporting mods when all you need is a $300 RB25 turbo, fmic, mech. boost controller and a fuel pump. Maybe we need a bit of feedback from the fella.
  4. Cool, so the back covers are different? and the housing differs for ABS?

    353awkw?

It's open to interpretation but I believe by "net" they mean at the wheels AFTER drivetrain losses, "gross" would be at the flywheel BEFORE drivetrain losses. 353awkw FTW!
  6. My RB20 made 183rwkw on 12psi with just a standard RB25 turbo (s1), made 12psi by 3500rpm. If that's all the power you're chasing then a 25 turbo is by far the cheapest way to go. Guys he said 300hp at the crank..
  7. ^^ That's what I've ordered (acutally ordered an extra 2 for a couple of mate).

    Ecu

So why no remap? Hyperdrive remapped my 32 ecu to run my RB30 with z32 afm and 550cc injectors, once the GT35R goes on I'll be taking it back for another remap.
  9. Want to get an S13 auto diff (3.9:1) and have my Nismo 2way installed in it then swap housings in my R32. Is this possible? To my limited understanding, the crownwheel and carrier setup is identical, just wondering if the housings are aswell? I would hazzard a guess and say yes as I think S13's and R32's are pretty damn similar in the rear end setup.
  10. ^^ some people (namely myself) didn't want 4wd, didn't like the look/feel/size of a 33 and really enjoy the dynamics of the 32 gtst. The only thing is lacks is torque.. hence the RB30 A few of my mates have 33's and everytime I get in the passenger or drivers seat of one, it reinforces how much I love my 32. One of those mates wanted a 32 but due to financial reasons had to go with the CHEAPER s1 33.
  11. You are correct. On a side note, these types of threads always seem to attract mucho d!ckheads.
  12. My car had a 20DE radiator so I was told, I scored a GTR radiator for $70 so dropped that in - had a whole extra core. Have just ordered one of those alloy group buy radiators from fatz, looks the goods, hopefully it performs well too

    Ecu

    Considered a remap?
  14. I predicted that this thread would blow way back on, I think, page one. All I shall add to it is: R32 + RB30 > * Sorry, feel like Rogercordia there.. that thread was much more entertaining.
  15. That CEFF1E rom did fk all for my RB20, the only benefit of my getting it is that when I put the RB30 in I used the CEFF1E remap because it didn't have R&R. Hyperdrive remapped my 32 ecu to run my RB30 with z32 afm and 550cc injectors. Give them a call
  16. Anymore interest dude? I'm not in any hurry (turbo won't be installed till after xmas) but I have cash waiting for whenever you're ready.
  17. Can you take a couple of pics of the back of the airbox? Is it as big as the stock airbox or does it allow for fmic pipes going underneath it? Cheers.
  18. dodgy! You people are the reason why we see dirtbikes listed as skylines etc!
  19. <what they said> Personally I wouldn't take a shot that I'll be seen as a walk in at Midland, bookings are there for a reason.. so everyone with a booking will be seen first and if they're already booked out, touch sh!t. Off you go to Welshpool or something which by the time you get there is probably chokkas and you have no chance of getting over there that day either. I like the certainty of appointments
  20. Midland are great, make an appointment and it's mucho easy. I had mine booked in at 7:30am on a Friday and I was at work in town by 8:30am. The first time you take it over they give it a full inspection (fine toothed comb deal), I thought I was going to get a HUGE list but it was only 4 items long and those items were pretty easy. Unfortunately my motor decided to have oil pressure problems before I could get it back over the pits so the sticker expired on Friday, Licensing said I have about a 4-5 week grace period before they do an audit and send letters out to people with expired stickers telling them to hand their plates in, apparently you then have another 15 days to get the plates in. Hopefully get the engined fixed this weekend and book it in to Midland pits for next week
  21. I've been looking into building a carPC for the same reason
  22. Have cusco coilovers all round and the rubber bushes on the rear are looking pretty thrashed out and I think it may be contributing to a bit of axle tramp.. Question is, can you buy aftermarket bushes for these? Last time I was up at Nissan I asked if I could buy OEM bushes but was told I would have to buy a whole shock to get one..
  23. Hmm that's alright, I wasn't going to get them for another week or so. Will need 3 now though, all for R32
  24. google is your best friend.. I've found the manifold I want, from Advanced Torque Motorsports, tubular tuned length low mount stainless. Going to get a local guy to put a gate pipe on there for me As for dump and intake piping, will be custom, likely by the same person who will modify my manifold.
