  1. I have my ProfecB destructions at home, if needed I'll bring them to work tomorrow and scan the relevant pages
  2. Pretty sure I still have the boxes for both the wrong and the right boss kits that I ordered. Will check part numbers when I get home
  3. Yeah I had this happen to me too, replaced with one out of a Nissan Serena gearbox that was floating around the workshop.. appeared to be a heavier duty item than the R32 GTSt one (thicker, tapered shank).
  4. Hmm so I should be able to bolt an R33 crownwheel to my R32 Nismo diff? just need to utilise converter bolts with a thicker shank? I have been given so much conflicting information over this! I want to drop the ratios a bit as 4.3's with the RB30 is a bit too short.
  5. Did you get a destruction booklet with it? Does the unit power up? have you fiddled with the settings at all? Did you install the vacuum hoses the correct way?
  6. Who said there are guards on every train? that is so blatantly not the case (as I have discovered while catching trains for the last 2 weeks). While my car is off the road, I don't work late as I'm just not going to tempt fate by walking to McIver train station at 7pm. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a pussy and I can look after myself, just not against 15 or so natives/junkies/trash. Why so much emphasis on imports anyway? I airhorned some junkie bitch one day on Guildford Rd who then proceded to open the drivers door and hang out it hurling abuse at me while travelling in the right hand lane, narrowly avoiding oncoming traffic. Police need to concentrate on idiots like that as opposed to targetting imports for mods they know nothing about. </continues interesting thread irrelevance>
  7. I really think they need to worry more about people beating people to death with rocks and star pickets. There have been several incidents in the surrounding suburbs of my house where people have been assaulted with various weapons in their front yards etc. Speed related car deaths aren't exclusive to modified cars btw, practically any vehicle on the road has the potential to kill people. I will use the same adage as that is used for guns: Cars don't kill people, people kill people.
  8. Police need to ease up on hoons and import drivers and concentrate on the escalating violent crime in Perth. If they don't start fighting the increasingly violent tendancies of some of the population, they may find people will take things into their owns hands in the form of a vigilant squad or some other such group outcry. Gone are the days when you could safely walk to the shops in the evening, or quite simply, catch a train home. Public Transport is pretty dodgy nowadays and if the authorities aren't careful, frightened civilians will start arming themselves.
  9. Same thing happened to me when I first got my car, interior light blew out at the same time. Narrowed it down to a particular fuse then when I was putting my stereo deck in I discovered that the previous owner had left a live (ignition) wire loose behind the dash which would randomly earth out on the stereo bracket and blow the fuse.
  10. Got my splitfires from Slide for $515 delivered. Easy to install
  11. I have a spare R32 RB20DET airflow meter that yas can borrow to see if it fixes the problem. I have a z32 afm in my car now so..
  12. I've seen this marked WRX car, have a photo on my phone along with the P plate squad car, will upload it sometime Also seen several marked Highway Patrol XR6T's, haven't seen an unmarked one though. Did hear of a rumour about an undercover magna that was enticing people to race..
  13. There's a 202 in Perth with a turbo hanging off the side making in the region of 470rwhp!! P.S. I love the generous use of engrish in this thread.. makes for mucho giggles while sitting at work
  14. </sarcasm> I do believe you also need to prove where the car was housed for a full 12 months, and if I'm not wrong, parking space in Japan is almost non existant except for a huge price. I certainly wouldn't be parking a brand new GTR on the street a few blocks from my house..
  15. Re: my answer to your post in my thread. The clutch guys are on the money I reckon, you've roasted the hell out of your clutch. Obviously the box needs to come out either way
  16. ^^ TBO, I don't think his bracket is broken. A big change from 5th to 3rd and missing gears resulting in massive burning clutch smell and not being able to drive it, suggests to me he roasted the f*&k out of his clutch.. maybe even snapped something in the gearbox O_o

I got mine unsecured through St George for a reasonable rate and I could pay off up to 5k extra a year without penalties. Paid it off in a year though and wasn't stung too badly.
  18. I think if you're swapping a whole centre it's fine, if you're trying to bolt crown wheels to different centres, that's where the problem lies.
  19. Yeah I've been thinking that. When the motor comes out next weekend I'll swap in the Nismo bracket I've got and see if that sorts it.
  20. I've been chasing the same for the same reason.. also to go to 4.1 ratios. I have been informed that the crown wheel bolt pattern is different, if you find out otherwise, let me know It you haven't bought the diff yet, I think you could just buy an 1.5way suited to a 33 maybe.
  21. No it's not the same problem. Sounds like you fkd your clutch, my clutch is fine - bites great.. loves grabbing 2nd in a standstill. I just randomly have half a pedal O_o
  22. Gee that's really helpful.
  23. Fluid is full, no leaks and pivot point is fine (it broke about a month ago and replaced it with one out of a Serena.. appears to be a more heavy duty item). When the pivot broke I had no clutch at all, pedal went straight to the floor. Had to drive it home by starting it in 2nd and shifting without the clutch. Was lucky I didn't lose the slave cylinder piston somewhere on the drive home!
  24. No fluid leaking, probably master cylinder screwed
  25. Sounds like what's happening to mine.. friction point moves to the floor and I lose the top half of the pedal travel.. I started a thread in Drivetrain etc but no1 has replied yet http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t191728.html
