  1. ^^ He has an RB25 turbo on there..
  2. I live in Ashfield (right next to Bassendean), I'll go throw some laps after work and see what I can find. The bastards eye my car off everytime I drive past a house full of natives Eh look dat one der cuz shes a fast one!
  3. Excellent! I actually sent that guy a message last night asking if he could take a photo of the back of the boss for me. Even better to know that someone is actually using one successfully
  4. Pass.
  5. My turbotech boost T worked fine, now have a Greddy profecB spec2 which is also fine (was a present). The advantages of the ebc is that I can change boost in the car without having to pop the bonnet I have my low setting as base boost (no % increase) but with wastegate shut till 8psi which makes it spool up a little quicker than normal. High setting is +25% and gate shut till 10psi. On really cold nights I tend to knock it back to the Low setting (as car is currently untuned). OR I can turn it off altogether
  6. I managed to escape a licky yesterday.. when he said "pop the bonnet" I almost came out with "just let me clean the windscreen so the sticker will stick better"
  7. Message me closer to the date Car is in panel shop for the next 3 days so will be nice and straight for ya
  8. Ahhhhhhh the path is becoming clearer!
  9. I got a generic boss kit with my wheel from GKTech, as far as I'm aware there's no difference between GTSt and GTR, only series 1 & 2 (not even sure that series 2 is the cutout for when it changed). R33 one won't work will it? Got a part number for the boss Dave? sounds like you have the one I need
  10. Received my lines in the mail today, boy do they look the goods! Will let yas know how fitment goes Cheers again Mark
  11. I have ordered a Nismo GT 2way for my 32gtst, ask me how it is in a couple of months once it actually arrives and gets installed
  12. Yeah it was only a bees fart out, 3mm spacer and it has ~1mm of clearance now.
  13. C'mon, someone must have an aftermarket steering wheel with a HICAS boss kit on their R32?! If you have one with the keys directly opposite (not 45deg off like Dave mentioned), where did you get it? what brand and/or part number? Cheers!
  14. I think there are two different sorts of 33 gtst brake rotors, I read in a thread on here that there is some confusion in regards to rotor offset? when ordering aftermarket 33 rotors.. in the thread linked above by Rekin, there was a 33gtst brake example which did fit without spacers. Like I said, _HOPEFULLY_ it will be fine
  15. Cheers I searched but couldn't find I have 3mm spacers on for now, car goes to panel shop on Wednesday, when it comes back I'll put the 33 brakes on and hopefully it's all fine
  16. My ride with the 34 rims, I think it looks fat - pic complete with mate flipping everybody off

    Purge

I just give the throttle a tap as I go passed them.. exahust is pretty loud, I keep setting off the car alarm down the street when I drive past it in 4th gear + low revs
  18. She's pretty low so I'm trying not to fill out the guards anymore than need be Got some 3mm spacers this morning, going to see if they fit soon.
  19. Well it seems that the 34 gtt rims won't fit over the front brakes on my 32 gtst probably only needs another 2-3mm so I'll try spacing till I put my 33 brakes on and see if that makes a difference.. rear brakes clear fine though.
  20. Yeah I noticed that from another thread which is why I said the prongs on mine are directly opposite (i.e. 6 & 12 or whatever). Car is a '90 model if that helps.. really I'm looking for someone who has the same year/model and has bought a bosskit that fits so they can point me in the right direction
  21. It appears the bosskit I bought is not HICAS compatible and the trial fit yesterday didn't go well at all. I cannot find a suitable bosskit (justjap only have R33 ones for example, not R32), the two prongs (one has the horn wire attached to it) are directly opposite each other on the little slidey ring bit behind the stock boss, anyone know of a specific boss kit that will fit/work?
  22. 25 turbo is the single best bang for buck upgrade you can do to the RB20. As for the gearbox, not sure about the auto's, I'm going to put a 25 engine in front of my 20 box and see how long it lasts. My mates 25/30 commodore was running a 20 box for about 6 months (because it had an RB20 in it before the 25/30) making 490rwhp, it eventually snapped 3rd gear in a big way.. loaded it up in 3rd from low revs and when it hit boost it went BANG! Depends on driving style I guess, I tend to abuse my cars a bit more than him
  23. My RB20 is making ~250rwhp @ 12psi untuned (but a bit lean due to old pump), currently has the following: RB25 turbo - $300 3" front pipe - $30 "hiflow" 3" cat - $20 Greddy Profec B spec2 - was a b'day present but you can get them new for about $350-400 or you can fork out a little more for a blitz. I previously had a $30 turbotech boost T which worked fine. Xforce split dump pipe (came with car) 2 3/4" cat back (came with car) Chinaspec front mount (came with the car) Got a Bosch 044 pump sitting here waiting to go in and have one of CEFFIE's remapped chips on the way. We'll see how that goes and might put an SAFC in to smooth things out a little more. Hoping to get close to 280rwhp with a little more boost out of this RB20 with minimal $_$ spent as I'd rather spend the big $_$ on an RB25 when the 20 finally dies Keep an eye out on the forums, I picked up the "hiflow" cat, front pipe and turbo off local people from this forum
