  1. What a stupid system, you would think that the engineers would have thought that if in case the ecu lost a sensor signal it would default back to "no steering added" or some such default. Oh well, no steering wheel till the lockbar goes in
  2. Sorry to hijack a thread.. So HICAS does not go into a default mode if it loses signal from a sensor? i.e. if it loses steering angle or road speed signals, I would have thought it would lock at it's zero'd setting not just let the back wheels flop about.. Basically I was wondering whether to put my steering wheel/nonhicas boss kit on now or wait till I put my lockbar in..
  3. Sounds like it's fubar'd
  4. I think 30psi may be a bit low.. I thought they were a 3bar system?
  5. Has anyone fitted these to an R32 GTSt? I am concerned about whether they will fit with the supplied 235 & 255 tyres.. I had a look at a 32gtst that was up on my mates hoist and the 215/17s front and 235/17s back barely fit, just waiting on the owner to confirm rim width for me.
  6. Thanks for the extinguishers Brad, now to figure out where to mount it! <open to ideas people with 32's >
  7. What would it cost to ship them to 6054?
  8. Speak for yourself
  9. You need suspension before rims mate.. your 33 is rather boatspec And nice rims R33-GTS, I was going to go for similar style (gunmetal 5spokes with polished lip) but have since decided on the 17" URAS NS-01s
  10. Use a long flathead screwdriver touching various parts of the engine and holding your ear to it, should help you narrow down where the noise is coming from (basically a backyard stethescope )
  11. Received my lockbar yesterday, will let you know how fitment goes, cheers dude
  12. Excellent news!
  13. I believe the 1" out is referring to "track", you cannot change the TRACK of your vehicle more than 25mm either side. That said, if you want to go 2" wider you would need to get the correct offset so the TRACK doesn't change by more than 1" and hope you can clear it on the inside
  14. Oh that's another thing Hyperdrive mentioned was that part of the install was they redo the earths for the pump.
  15. About to pickup a set of 33gtst brakes for my 32 gtst, just wondering if it's going to be a direct bolt on? do I need to get the 33 lines aswell? Help! cheers
  16. It came with a few fittings but they were meant for external use, Hyperdrive were going to supply the fittings required to go from the sock filter to the standard fuel line output. The pump is essentially bare with threads either end, you can source the fittings yourself but I figured it easier to let Hyperdrive get what they need
  17. Well I was talking to Hyperdrive about a surgetank when I went down and they said don't bother, they run 044's intank in all their drift cars and have no problems with surge under hard cornering/low fuel levels. Don't quote me but they quoted me $220 to install the 044 (including fittings) because I already have the pump (got it for $214.50 delivered off ebay).
  18. Check out AHG for driving courses (they're out near the international terminal). Simple mods to begin with which are also supporting mods for later are: Highflowing filter Exhaust (done) Bigger intercooler (depending on power levels you're chasing you can go front mount or R34 side mount) New fuel pump (stock one will be getting old, something along the lines of an Bosch 040/044) Manual boost controller (Turbotech boost T, wind it up a bit and see how it goes - i.e. leaning out, hitting R&R etc) IMO it's at this point in time you should start to address the braking/suspension issues. Good luck and happy modding! P.S. My little RB20 has pwned 2x R33's now
  19. I'm about to make a reasonably large purchase from nengun (diff/clutch pedal bracket/master cylinder stopped/Cs short shifter), I'll let you know how it goes.
  20. Few things shit me more than people that can't maintain their speed up/down a hill. On topic: give it a go but like others, I don't like your chances.
  21. I'm about to spend $1800 on a set of 17" URAS wheels from justjap with nankang rubber (I'm not a fan of nankangs but they're just going to get smoked up anyway heh).
  22. Oh no dramas, from the way you said ppl were asking about the remap I thought there was another one involved (something along the lines of have it dyno'd, send you the graph and you tweak slightly). I already got all of what you said the first time so sorry for making you repeat yourself
  23. And I just sold my spare RB20AFM Another thought is maybe a leak in the cooler piping?
  24. Can you elaborate on the included remap?
