  1. 32 gtst still available? will be able to Xfer funds early next week.
  2. ROFL dan! that's a big pothole.. like that sinkhole in Guatemala..
  3. Thanks heaps guys, you have all given me mucho food for thought
  4. If I hit boost anywhere I get yelled at and called a hoon! I had some old guy run out of his house brandishing his fist shouting "IF YOU SPEED THROUGH HERE AGAIN I'LL THROW A F*@KING BRICK THROUGH YOUR WINDSCREEN!" I wasn't speeding, my car is just loud and sounds like it's going fast when it's not.. I came to a complete stop half way through the intersection, flipped him off and was about to drop a big smokey burnout but decided against it incase it stepped right out and knocked the old lady off her bicycle that was riding on the road next to me.
  5. Someone with a 32 gtst volunteer their lines damnit!
  6. Yeah I've noticed this too, the left hand lane heading east on Guildford Rd in Maylands is pretty sketchy and there's not really any room to avoid them in traffic. Edit: btw [Michael] the number plate lights in your rear weren't working the other night..
  7. I guess it was too much to hope they had anything on their website I'll give them a buzz later but just for now, did you buy rims they had in stock? or do they have catalogues and will order what you're after?
  8. Found some rims that I like but can't get the size/offset needed I'm after some nice looking 17" 5spokes with dish (preferably gunmetal or similar spokes with polished lip) and no bolts around the edge. Where has everyone gotten rims for their skyline from?
  9. That means I'd need to buy the 25/30 aswell but yeah, he has the raised turbo covers on it due to oil pressurisation issues..
  10. I know where you can buy an RB25/30 to put them on
  11. Yeah that is the difference, the RB25/30 I was referring to has an N/A head.
  12. Will do, probably see him Friday after work
  13. That raised section is for oil/air separation.. I think my mate was having trouble with the non raised cam covers on his RB25/30 - can't remember what the problem was but pretty sure he has the raised ones now. If you need more info. I'll ask him
  14. ^^ Likewise, I thought NAB > NAB would have happened pretty quickly.. they did change cutoff times recently though.. I'M NOT SHAMED BECAUSE *I* KNOW I'VE PAID! P.S. let me know when the bandwagon is travelling past so I can jump on and hassles the non-payers
  15. I guess they didn't teach you about grammar either ash I'm going to be seeing Uneeda (sp?) for some panel work soon (my front left guard is crooked which results in scraping round hard right corners), as for servicing.. I do all that myself and if it's too hard I make my mechanic mate do it
  16. I had the same problem, left low beam was going out. Took it to my mechanic mate, we put new globes in all on both sides then modified the low beam holders slightly. Basically just bent out the contact so it gripped the globe better and it was all sweet. He charged me $20 for all the globes.
  17. My rb20 reads about -17 on the aftermarket mechanical guage (think the vacuum is in mmHg) and the ebc reads about -85 which is -8.5psi, reads -99 on overrun which is the lowest it can read.
  18. :laughing-smiley-014:
  19. Forgot to mention it's also through the stock throttle body. In his situation, the plenum is the bottleneck so changing to a better flowing manifold/bigger throttle body would probably result in a big increase of power straight away. He decided to start again with a new engine as this one was getting out of hand, you can't buy off the shelf plenums for RB25DE's that we have found. But if you aren't AT the bottleneck yet, I don't see any significant gains other than being a bit more free in the top end.
  20. You should have asked me about it yesterday The heat transfer from pipe to air will be negligible as the air is moving pretty fast and compared to the volume of air passing through, there is very little contact area. As mentioned, you can wrap it. You can also space the bonnet up off the hinges if you're worried about under bonnet temps. As for intake temps, you'd need a thermocouple inserted just before the throttle body with a seperate gauge.
  21. I know a car making 360rwkw through a standard RB25DE manifold..
  22. Being able to quickly GTFO of the away of bad shiz about to go down is a much under appreciated aspect of performance cars On the way out to sling some paint this morning I had some crazy hoe in a gold VT hammer through a dodgy intersection nearly hitt me head on, then on Karnup Rd in Serpentine that was some old guy in a Bronco hammering through the S bends, he came barrelling round the bend and I was like "er.. f*#K" and started to take evasion manouvers.. he didn't come unstuck though
