  1. Anyone got more info on the AWD setups in the V8 Cima etc? Yes, it would be MUCH easier and cheaper to go RWD with an LS1 but, an AWD v8 Stagea would be very interesting.. I'm torn between RB30'ing mine or v8'ing it. If the AWD setup was similar to Skylines then it could be viable but if you have to custom make/mate sumps then it could get interesting.
  2. NO EXCERCISE FOR A DAY BEFORE THE TEST Yes, THC bonds to your fat cells but it is only released when you burn those fat cells. No strenuous excercise for a day or two before the test, particularly on the morning of the test. Also a good idea to have a steak for breakfast on the morning of the test as the iron and proteins will help.. especially if you are flushing yourself with shitloads of water as they can tell that.
  3. Get your mechanic to fit some welsh plugs in to the 1-2 and 2-3 shift accumulators while he's at it, awesome bang for buck "shift kit"
  4. Got heaps of big dollar cars, my favourite is the Gallardo LP560-4 with 760hp and everything done to it.. 10,000rpm of screaming N/A fury
  5. Has anyone won the Historic Touring Car Championship? it's the last thing left in that section if so, with what? my Camaro and my Cobra are a bit too crazy O_o Oh and I've got two Stags.. a series 2 RS4 and a 260RS
  6. Just found this: http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144969 Looks like a skyline setup and considering they're based on R33 platforms I'd say it's just like installing a pump on an R33. My advice is to go with an 044 installed with a sock filter (similar to the stock setup) and mounted nice and low in the tank. That what my 32 is running and my mate is has the same in his GTS4 that's supporting nearly 600awhp.
  7. Make them use a mouthswab, the urinalysis is an invasion of your privacy.
  8. Search dude, myself and other have posted up shitloads of info on putting a 25det box in a 32.
  9. AFAIK the AWD blocks have provision for RWD sumps too. The only major difference off the top of my head between RWD and AWD Neos is that the AWD Stagea doesn't have traction control and most are auto's. This means the pinouts on the ECU are different and a 34GTT ECU won't work. Not a drama as the Neo Stag ecu's can be NIStuned.
  10. lol it's an xr6t? all I saw was the bonnet heh Just drive the Stag everywhere to be on the safe side! P.S. what colour is it? P.P.S. feels wierd being spotted in here.. I thought this was purely for eastern staters
  11. Road car.. R32 GTS4 + 3L + T04z.. limiter launches and 3rd gear pulls.. insane! couldn't even keep the vidcam level
  12. As above and also drop the cat and see if it makes a difference.
  13. Is that a challenge?
  14. It does the same as a lockbar but instead of replacing the rack with a lockbar, you remove the rack and fit a bracket either side and the tierods bolt to those brackets.
  15. My opinion is to do the turbo swap properly.. go the decent high mount manifold and set it up for that otherwise you'll be dicking around with cooler and dump piping again when it comes time to put a proper manifold on.
  16. Great thread. Will make sure to read every thread by OP from now on.
  17. Stagea a "performance car"? lol They're a quick lunchbox, but they will never be a skyline.
  18. Touche' good sir!
  19. Hai! Nice to meet you too Next time I expect to see you in the wagoon k?
  20. It has to be from a 4WD.. only 4WD blocks have provision for the 4WD sump. To bolt a RWD block in to a 4WD you would need to run an adapter plate like the one used to put RB30 bottom ends in GTR's/GTS4's/etc. And if you're going to do that, just build a 3L for it
  21. lol If he's in the country he's pretty easy to get a hold of. Emails are the best bet though.
  22. Holy shit Simon.. might have to give one of these a bash on the dirty 30!
  23. Got work to do
  24. Congratz. If the 34 won't cut the mustard, have a think about a series 2 C34 Stagea to bus the family about
  25. I hated auto's until I got the wagon, had never even owned one before. For a skyline I would almost 100% go manual, but for a daily I would consider auto.. driving my 2-way'd button clutch'd 32 in to the city every day, while amusing, could get a little tiresome. For the wagon, I didn't even contemplate manual really.. with all the extra weight, 4WD and the way I like to use my clutch I would destroy things quite quickly
