  1. You can get this stuff? I need some for oil/water lines and boost lines around the turbo.. $4/m is quite acceptable!
  2. Wish I had ol' Silver running, as much as I love driving the 32 it was decidedly out of place! Great turnout guys!
  3. coilpack harness is very common, a lot cheaper than a CAS too - brand new from Northside/JJR/RHDJapan/etc
  4. Sorry for the late reply mate, been busting my ass getting ready to go away 5k is pretty late! This is what mine was doing when it was an RB20 with a 25 turbo.. Maybe try another actuator and check your cat isn't blocked.. other than that, I can have a look in a couple of weeks
  5. I've got a genuine Nissan throwout bearing for twinplates, got it from JJR for not a whole lot. If you get really stuck I can let it go as it will be a while before I get the twinplate rebuilt and put in.
  6. I thought only that only applied to RB20 and series 1 RB25 I'm running a Q45 t/b on a custom plenum and the RB20 TPS bolted straight up. The only possible con with the Q45 t/b is it can be a bit touchy at low speed but you get used to it
  7. Was a good night surrounded by a couple of school busses
  8. ^^ this. Saved me when someone told me to use the wrong sized filter on the Stagea, shut it down quicksmart but there was still a good litre of oil on the workshop floor
  9. Steve May is on it, failing that, johnnyt said he might have one he can dig out
  10. On the topic of getting pulled over with radar detectors, I did on the Easter long weekend and even had a discussion with the officer about my radar detector.. no fine (for the radar detector).
  11. Cheers mate! Bet you'll be happy to start tinkering on the old girl again I'm itching to go home and work on mine.. stupid day jobs Also need a 26 p/s pump bracket otherwise I'll be getting a massive workout driving around town stupid ATI balancers
  12. If you want to come learn some stuff and lend moral support, I'll be trying to spend a couple of hours each night after work on it Thanks mate!
  13. MOAR TRACTION? Rebuilt the bottom end on the weekend and drop the engine back in the car, now to hook back up all the wiring and piping.. if the weather holds off and nothing else pops up, should be driving by the weekend
  14. That was for the car itself being towed..
  15. Good work tib, Better late than never! (Jim, he used my mate to install it) Speaking of which, I've still got two board that haven't been collected (Darq and bitsMissin I think they are) P.S. emanage ultimate is crap. If you can't find a tuner in Perth that will tune them, then steer clear.
  16. Since when are detectors illegal to use here? I've had a pro78 for several years now and it was the single best purchase I have made for my cars. And yes, it does pick up all the new stuff (the new stuff is all Laser anyway).
  17. I may be wrong but you should be able to use the mechanical 32R sender and your standard cable in the 33R box no worries.
  18. Doubt the p/s pump bracket is snapped as it's quite a hefty chunk of cast something but it would have had to have been modified to fit a 25/30 setup, could be ever so slightly misaligned.
  19. And then take to it with an angle grinder to precision machine the drive flats
  20. Probably would.. I didn't just take to it with a MIG in my backyard, a very competent machinist welded it up and machined it back to suit the gears.
  21. Plenty of drafting work around It's my budget racer Griff, so everything is done with best bang-for-buck in mind
  22. Seen a few comments about crank collars and N1 oil pumps.. My understanding is that the N1 gears are more prone to cracking due to the manufacturing process (sintered material) and the slightly thinner outer gear (1mm either side). I have an old N1 pump lying around that hasn't broken but I can see the witness marks from a narrow drive hammering on it. As said previously, I ordered some Reimax gears to go in there. I also opted to have my oil pump drive welded up as opposed to fitting a collar, personal preference really, some like it and some hate it.
