  1. You're both blind then.
  2. Yep they sure will, RB20 box probably won't live behind the RB25 for long though..
  3. Can't help with the wiring difference, it's most likely been documented on here somewhere, or send the Nistune guys an email, they're quite helpful.
  4. Tolerable stiffness is subjective really.. I come from driving my stiff-as-fk 32 so they are quite bareable compared to driving my 32 on our shitty roads. Not sure on the exact model of my Teins, can attempt to find out if you're interested.
  5. Z32 afm's can be bought new with plugs (have to wire in the new plug) from most traders on this site, I got mine from Justjap. It will never be as low and stiff as your evo, I've got non-adj. Tein coilovers and they make a huge difference, on the hunt for some 33/34gtr swaybars as they're meant to be a cheap upgrade.
  6. Yep, using the head/wiring/sensor setup that already suits the car is the easist way to go but as TiTs said, need to use a Z32 ECU if he wants to Nistune and retain VCT.
  7. Hmmk, that's a little more than the 1000cc Rochesters cost me and about half the price the 550cc Denso's did! Everyone who I've seen put those Seimens injectors in their R34 had to make up spacers for the fuel rail..
  8. Nice, without spacers n shit? Have seen a few different installs for the Neo's but they're not quite as plug'n'play as for the earlier stuff.
  9. Nice one! Couple of questions.. RB30 (forged), does that include twincam setups? RB25, does this include Neos?
  10. Coils, CAS and injectors are different.. Might aswell just start with a Neo head..
  11. Awesome driving! way to stick it to those evos
  12. Don't think it could be done without a lot of hacking/cutting/etc.. get a cheap 2nd hand cluster and give it a bash heh
  13. RB25DET Neo out of a series 2 RS4 Stagea.. they are 4WD
  14. My fabricator knocked up a flange to suit the AAC valve and welded it to the underside of the plenum then drilled a suitably sized hole in the middle. Just make sure it's oriented towards the throttle body as you will have to plumb a pipe from pre-t/b.
  15. Being a manual you have a few other options, pretty much all options for 34GTT will work, if it was auto then Nistune is really the only option that will work with the auto box. Nistune boards are about $250 if you don't want the software aswell, carton of piss for an electronics dude to install it in your stock ECU then a few hundred bucks for a tune. Stock injectors should be good for ~230rwkw, any more then you need to look for bigger, injectors for Neo engines aren't super common either. I'm about to commence looking into highflowing the stockers before my Nistune board arrives.. spent big on aftermarket injectors for the 32 twice and there's no way in hell I'm doing that again.
  16. Nistune will definitely be suitable, you will need a Z32 afm though and a decent fuel pump (read: Bosch). Edit: actually, give me more info about your stag (year, model, manual/auto, etc) as not all of them can be Nistuned easily.
  17. TBH dude, keep it simple and easy, go with a highflowed stock turbo. Bolt it on with a full exhaust, Nistune the stock ECU and enjoy it. It's never going to be a Skyline though and it barely compares to my 32 but, for a >1600kg practical daily driver, it is phenominal
  18. Me? lol My wagon with a highflow it a pretty fast lunchbox, and now that I have figured out how to put it in 2WD mode when I want to drop a skid, I'm super happy!
  19. I've got the Wisecos (was originally built before all the others came out, I think they're pretty much 30ET pistons), still got plenty of off boost torque even with the 7:1 CR, we'll see what it does with the new turbo.. I imagine I'll be able to safely run heaps of boost and timing!
  20. Now I'm glad I cheaped out and stuck with standard cams
  21. Smoked the drivers rear tyre! lol damn open centres
  22. It works! I had to start the car though, then hit the brake pedal 5 times as when I just went to the ON position, 4WD enabled when the car started. Definitely RWD.. but now I need an LSD Will try to get it up on the hoist this weekend and see if it gets rid of all the preload straight away
  23. The disconnect plug + pump brake pedal works! now I need to put the old LSD out of the skyline in the wagon lol I'll try get the car up on the hoist on the weekend and see if it removes all of the preload straight away.. definitely felt like there was none!
