  1. Too bad it would have to be returned to stock for compliance!
  2. lol... agree 100%. As a not-so-newb I find it a pain in the arse trawling through threads too... but what can ya do? Make a new thread for every question someone has? Anyway, Sorry (again) Dale. Carry on.
  3. Wht510: I agree, entirely... if you can make a suggestion as to what I should have done to keep this thread on topic while still answering his question, please do tell.
  4. Upgrading the front end is not something many others have done. The difference in headlights you can see Here is a shot of a PM35 RX front bar installed with the normal NM35 headlights (the gap was around 20mm wide) You can see in this pic that the NM35 bonnet raises for each of the creases on top, but then sinks again straight away (look at the lines of the shadow on the bonnet) The PM35 bonnet doesn't do that, it stays raised.
  5. If you are doing calipers and rotors, it won't make a difference dust... Z33/V35/G35 BRAKES WILL FIT ON YOUR NM35 VQ25DET POWERED STAGEA! IT IS ONLY THE BRAKE LINES THAT MAY BE DIFFERENT. Honestly mate, I understand your concerns, but I don't know how else to tell you. Axis, ARX, RX, RS, AWD, RWD, VQ25det, VQ30, VQ25, VQ35, HICAS, Non-HICAS, 5-speed, 4-speed... it doesn't matter. If the brakes bolt on to a Z33, V35 or G35, they will bolt onto our Stagea. Maybe read this thread from the start... or search the Stagea forum for brake info (if you did, you would have found this thread of Danny's Z33 Brembo conversion) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/288150-m35-brembo-brake-coversion/page__hl__350z+brembo We are here to help with your questions, but if you don't want to listen to advice from guys that have been driving and modifying these cars for the past 4 years or so..... then I don't know what to tell ya.
  6. PM35 will bolt straight onto an NM35 (I have done it), but you will either need to cut and re-weld the abs at the front as they are closer together than the NM35 ones, or buy PM35 headlights, grill and front bar (as I did). Yes, the PM35 bonnet is higher in between the creases. I think it looks much better from the driver seat (find myself looking at the "step" on the crease quite often for some reason).
  7. Maybe PM, bbenny (he has Z33 Brembo's on his NM35) or spoolin12 (as you can see at the start of this thread, he has the 370z Akebono's on his which are much, much larger than the 350z Brembo's). I believe that [[Danny]] also put 350z Brembo's on his M35 (ARX) Remember, the 350z (RWD, man or auto) and the V35 (RWD or AWD, man or auto) have the same brake kit from factory as our M35's (RWD or AWD). Of course I am referring to the non-Brembo cars, but it is a direct replacement if you want to upgrade. How does a different diff affect the brakes you put on? Have you asked them WHY they say you can't do it? If it is a US supplier, ask them if the brake kit will fit a G35x (AWD Infinity G35)
  8. Not sold on the angle of sweep on the nose. Looks like Countach aerodynamics to me.
  9. Considerably. The Series 2 M35's (PM35/PNM35) need a bonnet with more clearance because of the VQ35de they use whereas the VQ25/VQ30 used in the series 1 M35's (M35/NM35) sit a lot lower. Also, the PM35 grill is narrower and the headlights larger so the "tabs" on the front of the bonnet are in a different spot (I found this out the hard way) Has he created a mould yet? Started testing? OX strut brace won't fit if you have a runner spacer... nor will any of the other VQ25det designed strut braces for that matter
  10. lol... subtle like a jackhammer as always mate. or get a PM35 bonnet modified (it has at least another 20mm clearance over the NM35 bonnet)
  11. You may want to look at a V35 one then as the M35 strut brace will not fit with the 19mm runner spacer in there mate. I dunno if the V35 braces will actually fit, but I suppose you have more chance as the top of the engine sits higher in a V than ours do.
  12. hmm.... I sense sarcasm to my sarcasm. The N1 is a loud exhaust mate. If you really want something that flows really well and is quieter than what you have, get either the Blitz, Kakimoto R or Legalis unit off RHDJapan. OR get a cheap one off Yahoo.
  13. lol... Kakimoto N1 Hyper Mega would be a very quiet exhaust compared to what is on your car bud! Yeah, definitely let him know, but remember that he does this stuff around his job and family so don't expect it straight away.
  14. Perhaps if they allowed a mid race save option when in the pits the endurance races would be more palatable... or if you could have your B-spec driver/s race in turn (without having sit and watch of course - sorta like in GT4).
  15. Boullier said that Bruno Senna will most likely to be the replacement in the article blackrex linked to.
  16. Hmmm.... I have heard another M35 owner speak of his car in similar terms... must be a black ARX thing
  17. yes. Akebono, G-tech, StopTech, D-spec are available on eBay Motors. 4/6/8 pot fronts depending on brand and 2/4/6 pot rears depending on kit. Apologies for the hijack Dale
  18. *jealous*
  19. Not to be picky Dust, but perhaps ask these brake questions in Chris's brake thread (where you originally posted) and PM him about the headlights?
  20. mmm.... all controlled by the factory stalk. I like. Plus the way the rear dribbles water out is practically useless anyway.
  21. RWD/AWD/HICAS do not matter with the brakes. ANY 350z or G35 brake kits will fit. The M35 Stagea's (Axis, ARX, RX, RS... RWD or AWD) all have the same brake setup and, from factory, is the same as the non-brembo 350z/G35 (V35) For that matter, 370z Akebono brakes fit (as per Chris's car) and are an awesome upgrade (if you have the wheels to fit them) You'll find a shitload of brake kits of you Google for them... or have a look at eBay Motors
  22. When do you need to move them on. Interested, but a purchase not a swap (and depends how much dish they have )
  23. fkn hell! What do you call a recent thread then?!? As stated HERE in the M35 Big Brake Upgrade 14" thread, any 350z or G35 BBK's will fit.
