  1. Personal preference really. Our wheel arches are made for big rims, but how big depends on personal preferences for style and ride comfort - larger rim = harsher ride
  2. Just looked on the Kakimoto website. Pipe is 90mm for 260RS http://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/image_nf1e44.html
  3. I don't see any pipe diameter in that diagram. Have you asked Jesse Streeter or RHD Japan or Import Monster to find out for you? RHD have the N1 listed for "Skylines" and state that the pipe is 80-90mm (whether that is internal-external or just the variance between models, I don't know). Maybe send them an email (bottom of the page) and ask for the 260RS? http://www.rhdjapan.com/kakimoto-racing-hyper-full-mega-n1-exhaust-muffler-skylines-50778 They will usually get back to you with an answer very quickly.
  4. So where's my CD Tom? Guitarists should work as hard as the drummer
  5. Well, here ya go. Thought I'd take the time to draw up a picture of your car
  6. Indeed you did... even though it is a different colour, it still looked better than your ARX (and you know it!) Spotted a black ARX although it looked more like a black Pokemon with a grey-ish beard last night. Nice exhaust though Aaron.
  7. haha, but I am not the one that thinks or is trying to persuade others that their car "looks mean", am I? Funny thing is that even if you colour-code the flares, you still have to deal with the gay old man, tan leather that is inside the ARX. Unfortunate, but true... ARX = ugly inside and out
  8. If you aren't going with the FRP kit, you may be quite surprised when you find out how much Nissan charge for the bonnet ornament (and it's backing)
  9. On an ARX? I think you are confused. On an ARX those flares look as good as they do on this Ooh yeah, real mean.
  10. There was a full NM35 Axis fibreglass kit on Yahoo, dunno if it is still there. It included the front bar, grill, flares and rear bar. Decent price and the fit looked damn good (had it unpainted on an RS/RX in one of the pics). Would probably be the easiest way of doing it if you can find the auction.
  11. For M35's... (speedo values are based off the OEM speedo calibration for MY NM35) STOCK RS 17" rims = 55 sidewall (total tyre height is 668mm) - speedo reads 10% fast 18" rims = 45 sidewall (total tyre height is 677mm) - speedo reads 8.7% fast 19" rims = 40 sidewall (total tyre height is 679mm) - speedo reads 8.3% fast 20" rims = 35 sidewall (total tyre height is 680mm) - speedo reads 8.2% fast The ~10mm extra total height over the stock RS 17's fills out the wheel arch perfectly (particularly if you have lowered your suspension 20-25mm)
  12. Bought mine through Northshore 5 years ago this September. Organised a mate's M35 through Ben about a year later and had a hand in a number of other M35's... all from Northshore. Can't fault Northshore's cars, nor their service (although there was one minor issue with the rear window motor on one). Hate hearing stuff like that, but it definitely happening. 47,000kms on a family wagon that is almost 10years old? C'mon, bit of common sense. OP - Don't be afraid to pick up an M35 with around 100,000kms on the clock. Presuming they have been serviced regularly with decent fluids, 100,000kms is nothing - although I guess when you crack 210,000kms in a modified M35, you sorta have a different perspective!
  13. Driver side CAM sensor - 23731-6J906 Passenger side CAM sensor - 23731-AL616 Crank sensor - 23731-AL606 I can't open my Parts Master at the moment, but I am pretty sure they are the same as what is used in the VQ35de engine. DO NOT let the Nissan "expert" tell you they are the same as an Xtrail *f**king idiots* The part numbers above are updated items as of 2004, but they may have updated since then (probably just to a "7" at the end in stead of a "6"). Also, I had the same 0345 error early this year. Replaced all three sensors which made no difference. Turns out there was a bent connector for one of the CAM sensors (can't remember which bank) which was not allowing proper contact. If you car has a silver circular sticker on the strut tower (or on/near the VIN plate) it means that your sensors were replaced as part of the factory recall in Japan. If this is the case, I'd be checking the connectors before handing it over to a Nissan "tech". Oh, one last thing, make sure they let the starter motor cool for around 20-30seconds after each unsuccessful crank of the engine. You don't want them to burn out your starter motor.
  14. Whilst he certainly wasn't attacking, he did use up a lot of the track... the camera with in the left side of the front wing. Wouldn't mind seeing an F1 race at The Mountain, although there seem to be far less overtaking points. DRS on the straights could make for some fun though
  15. Red Ferrari 458 Italia this morning opposite my work in Mt Eliza. Wasn't much of a fan until I saw one in the "flesh". Now I am
  16. I know, and I was backing up what you said
  17. There is, only catch is you have to send your ECU to Japan
  18. Dark blue M35 RS on South Gippsland Hwy just past Koo Wee Rup this morning at 8:50. Anyone here?
  19. So I guess that means that the only way to play it is to jailbreak your PS3 and download it.
  20. If it meets Matic J spec, then it should be fine. Just be mindful that the Re5 is a very different transmission to the C34's Re4.
  21. K6020-AQ003 is the number for the front bar, but it looks like the plates etc are "all in one" with the front bar and ducts (section F20-001 if your Nissan guy needs to know)
  22. Nah, won't have anything to do with the lights. Did you have the car running with the AFM unplugged? Doing so always brings up the CEL. If so, it will go away after a little while.
  23. Service on my Stagea today including replacing the passenger side rocker cover gasket. Bit of a fiddly job compounded by snapping one of the corner bolts Still no leakage though... for now
