  1. I think you are confusing the output for the iS and V-Pro units. iS video out is in fact a yellow "video" output... same as the old yellow/white/red connections into your tv. V-Pro needs the communication cable into CAMP2 to display on screens... although you can use this in the iS also if the CAMP2 displays are your thing Damn straight. So if Cihan and Scott's theory that the throttle restriction is controlled via the cam timing, maybe the iS can overcome this. Am sure the V-pro will.
  2. I had RHD Japan list the harness and also asked Jesse Streeter a little while ago about them. I only hear last year that they were a discontinued item, but RHD & Jesse both buy them directly from HKS. iS is superior to the eManage Ultimate as it can handle the variable valve timing without an add-on unit. Also has a video out to display 6 options from a number of readouts (oil pressure, boost, temps etc) - perfect for those with an OEM popup screen... like me Would be looking at either a 3.24 or 3.3 only, nothing earlier than that for the V-Pro.
  3. Dust, you can also hook up the Fcon iS which is like a more powerful eManage Ultimate. NM35 harness is easy to get and HKS still have plenty in stock. Can you PM me a price for the V-Pro? Have been looking for one for a while now, but no second hand units available for a reasonable price My mate just bought an iS for his V35, so will be testing it on my car when I get the harness.
  4. Black soarer gives you wings?
  5. lol... PM conversion? Can definitely fit both in there
  6. Andy, keep an eye out for the "$400 M35" will ya? It is a dark blue RS (normal body kit) and my mate recently moved up there.
  7. Only lasted 6000kms in my Wife's Magna (2003, 3.5 V6) which sits at 80-100kph on her daily drive to and from work (99.9% highway and 1 set of lights). I do 10,000km changes but noticed a burned oil smell from her car one day (late Autumn/early Winter 2009) Checked the oil level and at was juuust on the bare minimum. Checked the engine bay for leaks but there were none. Dropped the oil and it came out with chunks and an overwhelming burnt smell. Never had an issue with Mobil 1 5w50 before nor after. Like I said, won't ever touch Nulon oil again for her car, let alone touching the innards of my Stagea.
  8. Definitely missing Kubica already.
  9. lol. Certainly not the best driver, but he is a damn sight better than the majority of the F1 field. While on the subject of Webz, I'm calling Redbull shenanigans for the first 5-6 races of the season... just long enough to have Vettle with an insurmountable lead as the #1 driver on the team, thus alleviating themselves of any of last years "issues".
  10. Yeah agree, I only use it to find something locally if Google fails me or I couldn't be stuffed looking through search results of "does anyone know good .... in .... ?". Can't always find everything online - at least I can't although I did find a very impressive engine and cylinder head builder/rebuilder/modifier on the weekend that I couldn't and can't find online
  11. Looks perfect ride height to me! Noice Looking great Ced. What did you seal the headlights up with?
  12. lol... indeed. So many possibilities when dreaming
  13. ^ Valid rant and all are valid in Melbourne too
  14. I only found that the one that connects to the BOV intake pipe was juuuuust big enough, but have had no issues with any clamps coming off... then again, I haven't heard of anyone else having a prob with them either
  15. No stress mate, just giving them the heads up as to which clamps are in the kit. As an aside, not one of my clamps have come off nor loose. I did strip one though but only because it couldn't really fit around the joiner to grab enough thread .
  16. 1. Never said that the workshop would be doing all the work - that'd be the money burner 2. No chance I'd pay $4k for the Haltech (ViPec installed and tuned for $2k down here) 3. Stroker kits can be had for under $5k depending on what you want or 700hp rated built VQ35 for $10k (plus shipping - yes I know you have to supply a VQ35). 4. All I am saying is for $20k, you could get around 600-700hp* from a VQ35 no problem... reliably * actually I said big power... but I'd say that 600-700hp from a 3.5L V6 is big power... well it is to me anyway
  17. This is all I can pull up in FAST regarding the key for Oct 2001 - Aug 2008 M35's. As you can see in the bottom of the pic, there are 2 part numbers (H0560-4A000 and H0560-79930) meaning there are 2 different types. I don't know which one your have nor what the differences are between the two. Section H05-001 if you need to take it to Nissan so they can maybe cross reference them on an English displaying FAST (I'm sure they were sold with Maxima's, 350z's etc over here)
  18. Fixed for accuracy if referring to the V8 Cima (the only VQ in an F50 was the VQ30det) Would be more interesting if the manufacturers had to use the same engines as in the road car (obviously worked versions thereof) and to see a number of other manufacturers in there (say maybe BMW, MB, Audi etc) would be awesome. Love to see some Jap brands in there, but they would need to bring a V8 model sedan into Aus first!!
  19. GT2 = yes HDi clamps = If you are referring to these http://hybrid-power.com/HDI%20CLAMP/HDI%20CLAMP.html, yes there is one in the kit for joining the piping behind the washer bottle. The rest are used on the silicon joiners and are basically these http://www.norma.net.au/norma-gbs.html I'll check shipping to NZ, PM me your address so I can get an accurate quote.
  20. Or you could use yellowpages.com.au to see if there is anywhere local... then call for a quote You know, sorta like in the old days?
  21. Do you have a proximity immobiliser receiver (small black rectangular thing with rounded ends) with your key?
  22. 140ish awkw for a completely stock VQ25det RS... so around the 190-200hp mark, yes. Yeah, but yours is designed to bolt on to the stock engine, not a built one... plus you have 1 turbo, not two. 450ps is still around 315kw, so fun is to be had regardless of numbers For $20k, you could get a built 3.8 or 4.2L VQ35 and use the spare thousands to setup a turbo kit to your specs. Should be able to see BIG power and torque with that kind of money spend of a VQ35.
  23. I enquired with PWR, but the cost was too high although their coolers are pretty good. Ryan, if you want an HDi cooler, I can organise it for you at the GB price as I have for others since the GB. PM me know if/when you want to go ahead
