  1. You'll have to come by and do mine soon Aaron
  2. Wow. Unbelievable. If true, could send Sony bankrupt considering how the US works!
  3. +11ty EDIT: Found it http://www.autoanything.com/towing/73A3874A0A0A2587276.aspx Seems that it is a "Class 1" tow bar though, which according to the manufacturer is 2000lbs. Would still like the details on a 2000kg unit for M35.
  4. lol, my decision had nothing to do with Dust and his brief description of the change. the Fcon iS is a piggyback - takes the ECU's signal to the engine and manipulates it (like the eManage) The Fcon V Pro is installed like a piggyback but can be used as a standalone unit - cuts off the ECU's signal to the engine and sends its own. Controlling the "eVCT" is an unknown to me right now. The iS can control NVCS (Nissan Variable Cam Timing) which was used in the RB25's but I am not 100% sure about controlling the timing in a VQ25det... yet.
  5. All depends I guess. If I can get my hands on a "reasonably priced" Fcon Pro-V, I will just be using that. If not, I'll probably end up with an Fcon iS and a Gzone.
  6. Well that solves that then. It is on my list anyway. I've never had anything this 'high tech', so I'm just kind of feeling my way and erring on the side of caution. Doesn't help when you read/hear/get told different things and you're trying to work out what the best move is! All very confusing sometimes... I have bought myself more time now anyway, so might do the G-Zone anyway. Yep, suction pipe, turbo, FMIC, spacer, full turbo back exhaust... and stock ECU. It won't pull as much power from the car as a dyno tune with piggyback will, but you certainly will not NEED to install the emanage if changing the exhaust.
  7. LOL, that "Flat" one is basically the same one that Scott has/had (and did SFA)
  8. Not 100% certain that the V-Pro can control the variable timing.
  9. LOL, what makes you think it is just C34 owners that think that? jk
  10. Agreed. Well said. Maybe F1 needs to limit down force to that of the 80's cars so we can really see who the better drivers are these days. *imagines Kobayashi with less grip*
  11. Yeah, I have a vid of me behind it whilst it chews through some damn long grass... and fallen tree limbs. (yes, I know how weird that will sound to the uneducated! )
  12. This is true, but that Billy Goat is a damn beast!
  13. Funny thing is that the Sera can be had for under $4k, has a fuel efficient 1.5L and is very different to most other cars. They don't look too bad in stock trim if you like the rounded 90's styling (plus they have gullwing doors ) Here are some for sale http://www.carsales.com.au/used/toyota/sera/
  14. You were going well for a little while there Aaron, but quite wrong here. Mine doesn't run out of puff at all. Prior to the suction pipe, I could boost right up to the limiter without running out of puff.
  15. Yep, my turbo is very close to stock size it would seem. Look forward to seeing how early it comes on with a tune Suction pipe eliminates the air supply restriction caused by the stock intake piping to the turbo. Unfortunately opening this out allows too much airflow under full throttle for the standard ECU fuel system. It may not do it with an upgraded fuel system though.
  16. Yep, still experience it when I put the foot down due to still running the stock ECU (nor for long though )
  17. Iain has an RX, so no dials from factory.
  18. LOL, treated like a noob! Yes Alex, I know that the N means AWD... it was more just the model designation to separate the series 1 M35 from the series 2 M35 as opposed to a mistake. As I was talking AWD anyway, I just figured that would suffice for Ced to get it clear to his mate
  19. No, takes more than pulling a fuse to make it RWD. C34 and PM35 (series 2) you can pull a fuse to make it RWD, but not VQ25det Stagea's. Yeah, your mate is thinking of C34's... although you can get an M35 brought in pretty cheap. He certainly did, but it was how he found that out!
  20. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Quit rubbing it in
  21. lol... that's what I get for just spewing part numbers from a FAST display
  22. What are you using for 100 octane? I was of the understanding that E10 is a 94+ octane fuel, which brand guarantees 100RON?
  23. Oct-Nov 2001 22448-AL610 superseded by 22448-AL615 Nov 2001-August 2004 22448-AL615 superseded by 22448-AL61C Difference between the two? I have no idea.
