  1. When you put your foot down, odds are pretty good that the car will transfer torque to the fronts so ATTESSA seems logical. Have you changed the fluid in it yet?
  2. get 4500k. Doesn't give that crap blue hue and is extremely close to the 4300k most OEM HID's are.
  3. 600kms... but how much fuel did you put in? I can only assume that you didn't run it dry then put all 80L back in. If you are going by the fuel light, there is still around 15L or so in your tank from when the light comes on. Fwiw, I was averaging 9.3km/L before my Stagea was modified whereas I am currently averaging 10km/L with a number of mods (travel is effectively the same). 7.5km/L sounds about right if you do the vast majority of your driving around town... or so I am told. A lot of it also comes down to knowing what your car will do in response to tiny/normal/large movements of your right foot.
  4. What? And replace the beauty that is your ARX? Depends on the front bar and grill of the V35 portion (sedan would work better than coupe) and the kit on the M35 portion.
  5. I thought that blue smoke = burnt oil? Had it at startup for 2 days, but cured itself somehow I am currently running 0w40 Mobil 1, but you can't go wrong with a 5w40 or 10w40
  6. From what I have gathered, they were a very good cooler, but cost Impul too much for the small market that wanted them. Fujitsubo Legalis is the exhaust. Brilliant unit and is the same design that Nismo used in their first M35 exhaust (I had a legalis - now on Scott's car, and changed it to a Nismo). Have a search for the aftermarket exhaust thread I made a while ago if you want the basics of the unit
  7. That "Calsonic" intercooler is the one that Impul sold for a short time for their M35's. You can still find them second hand, for around the $600 mark (plus shipping/commission) Exhaust is a Legalis. If it is lowered by Impul, it will just be springs. Nice kit though!
  8. Same stroke, different bore. Why manufacture new rods if the 3L ones were PLENTY strong enough?
  9. Yeah, he moved up there in early Feb this year. This is his M35
  10. Actually I was referring to the Nankangs and how poor they are. Just noticed that I missed out the "don't" in my post!
  11. Isn't after shipping. Just ordered my harness from Jesse (only 2 left at HKS now!) for less than that auction Import Monster does not include shipping/commission etc BUT if you click the "view shipping charges" above the auction, you'll find out the total price.
  12. G-Zone would be better than the Nismo IMO. Has the same low rpm response, but you can specify your boost levels, redline and they automatically remove the speed limiter (although I think that the Nismo has this removed as well). Just note that the low end restriction modification is the "option" which is charged on top of the auction price. Late last year, it cost 60,500Y for the complete G-Zone remap and yes, it is a changeover service - so you send your ECU to them, they remap it as best they can with your specs and then send it back to you.
  13. Can't really see that you have no low end restriction considering that you sit it at 3000rpm before letting loose! Can you send me a vid of your Stagea accelerating from standstill, in drive, from idle? LOL, so you want to come back as something that lasts much longer than it should, but never really does it's job?
  14. No throttle restriction with factory N/A ECU's. eManage Ultimate has been used in turbo or supercharged G35's, Fcon iS and V-Pro have both been used (again G35, V35 and Z33's), I'm sure the Haltech 350z Premium would be up to it and I guess APS with their piggyback could also be done (works on Z33, G35/V35). I guess you'll need a universal harness though... unless the Z33 eManage Ultimate harness (thus the HKS Z33 harness) fits - we are trying to find out for my mate's V35 GT8, but I haven't seen a PM35 ECU pinout
  15. How do you know this? vManage controls the VTC... the Fcon iS can also do this I am told (by HKS tuners)
  16. Nice wheels Iain! (just need bigger tyres on them) *sigh*
  17. Just had a quick look at the G-Zone description again. They do say that the "option" they can supply with their remap removes the throttle restriction in a similar way to the Nismo ECU - by modifying the variable valve timing, electric fan and also "start timing (temperature etc)". hmm... So maybe the vManage WILL remove this restriction... and because it can work with the vv timing, perhaps the Fcon iS can as well.
  18. No dyno sheet unfortunately. Both F-con's intercept the signal from the ECU to the engine and modify it as per the tune, but they are quite different. Fcon iS is pretty much an eManage Ultimate + Vmanage, but with a Video output... and it looks pretty (not that you'd see it ). That being that it add's/subtracts to the OEM ECU's signals (timing, fuel etc etc). The problem with this is that the stock ECU is damn clever and will react to the return signal accordingly. (ie Ecu sends signal to engine, iS intercepts signal and adds a fixed number of degrees to the timing, signal returns from engine to stock ECU, ECU takes additional timing out to bring it in line with what the stock levels "should" be, iS intercepts and adds it's fixed number again - which is now less due to the reduction in timing in the "send" signal from the ECU). I guess the trick here is to tune outside of the stock ECU's limits Fcon V-Pro intercepts the OEM ECU signal and completely replaces the them with the "tuned" information, so regardless of what the stock ECU receives and adjusts for in the return signal, the V-Pro dictates the parameters in it's "base" tune to the Engine.
  19. Yeah, I am led to believe that their premium is 100RON
  20. Take a breath Craig. That 450awps was on pump... and yes, I know Scott will smash that power level... and yes I know that with the old turbo, his car had very little lag. Oh, I should mention that particular car wasn't using the Fcon V-Pro... it was using the iS.
  21. You don't remember correctly. 450awps (331awkw) has been done in a street registered NM35 in Japan. Scott isn't there yet... at least not until the new turbo is installed (if it ever fkn arrives!!). Having said that, all the "big number" NM35's in Japan have had their capacity increased to over 3L. Much more impressed with the 2.5L numbers Aus is producing!
  22. I'd only use Magden if it gave warnings like this
