  1. Huh? You just connect it to the battery. Got one on my Stag. Stopped my iPod from freezing Dunno about emissions though, haven't tested it.
  2. I presume by "nice parts" you are referring to the S13 front and the Evo bonnet? The rest... well...
  3. Well, yes... or you could buy a couple of sets of Nismo 60mm Long Hub Bolts That would safely allow spacers to be used
  4. I too like the second pic. Would have been nice to not have crap cars in the background... btw, isn't that a Kia Cerrato on the right?
  5. Yep HP1008. That is the one. Where to get 300v Chrono? Autobarn Frankston, Narre Warren, Doncaster, Autobarn City or Moorabbin should all have it - although it DOES sell out pretty damn fast at Narre.
  6. Depending on where you are located, I was quoted $20 from Owen @ Autobarn Pakenham. Autobarn Mornington got my last one and I had to pay "customer order" shipping which came to $28 including filter. Dunno what to tell ya mate. Try another store (or get them to price match).
  7. So based on that, what kind of quality can we expect from the molds of the M35 Nismo kit you have?
  8. Sorry man, don't know, I have a Stagea. Is there a difference between the front ends of the V35 Sedan and Coupe? I have been told by Rod Johnson at Mishimoto that this will definitely fit and G35/V35 made in 2003-2006 without any modifications. My Stagea is a 2001, so I guess that there were slight changes, or possibly the engine bay of my Stag is quite different, which is possible as I have a VQ25DET instead of the VQ35. and I have noticed that the V35 has a longer nose than my Stag. is a Youtube clip of one being installed in an S2000, I know it is not a G35/V35, but from this vid it looks as if they do replace OE without modification....
  9. Wouldn't know mate. It has the mounting brackets, fan shroud screw holes and hose inlet/outlets for G35/V35. Unknown if it would fit an R34 (if that is what you are asking) Best to give your engine bay a quick measure & if you are willing to possibly fab something for the supports if necessary then go for it.
  10. I would say 245/45. I have 245/40's but my speedo is calibrated for 215/55/17. ARX come standard with 18's, although I do not know the standard sizing. Check near the inside sil of the driver's door, it will tell you the standard size, then punch it into THIS site to make sure your speedo is not too far out. EDIT: plus the ride on 45's is much more comfortable than on 40's.
  11. Area code.... I WISH it was by name
  12. temporary numbers? As an aside, looks like I will be getting a custom radiator done from Race Radiators with the money from Kev. Seems that Mishimoto G35 radiator just won't let the airbox fit in the engine bay. Damn. Beautiful unit too!
  13. Indeed it is Impul. Jeez, that kit looks much better in Silver than it does in white!
  14. Hi Daniel, The choice is pretty easy. Motul 300v Chrono (10W40).... as Johnny said. I have tried a ton of different oils as I used to do 5000km changes. I have only used Synthetic oils though with the exception of one change (5000kms) of Royal Purple. Shell Helix Ultra, Mobil 1, Motul 8100, Valvoline, Penrite Syn, Castrol Edge, Amsoil (10W40), RP, Nulon... cnbf trying to remember others... I have been using 300v with 10,000km changes for the last 40,000kms and I can tell you that it is like a different engine when compared to the other oils. Revs easier, "feels right" as opposed to others that felt too thin (mobil 1) or like the engine was being choked (Syn - only lasted 2 weeks, I couldn't stand it). The Motul 8100 left a black sludge which was removed with an engine cleaner at the next change. If $150 every 10,000kms for oil is too much, I would probably go for the Nulon or Amsoil..... ..... but you did say you wanted to put something in that would have the engine running beautifully after 70,000kms. Since you do a lot of short trips (my average trip TO work is 65kms), I would go with the best oil you can get. Also, make sure you get a good quality filter. I can recommend either the K&N, Veruspeed or Amsoil oil filters. The K&N should only set you back $20 and is very good quality.
  15. Yep. The bonnet shots... and I figured it was you... those lights can get bright, eh?
  16. Odd. I got a quote from them for mine as a daily driver with the mods I have. Still over $200p.a higher than Shannons at my current (temporary) address.
  17. Nice shots man... but who is the try-hard in the driver's seat with shades on at night???
  18. I like it Nick... but that shot makes me feel like a dentist working on a molar.
  19. Can deliver FOC to Melb Metro.
  20. Ferntree Gully Nissan. Best Nissan Dealership in Australia since 2001 for service. They LOVE servicing cars that are out of the ordinary. Took my M35 there, Craig drove it in and everyone downed tools for nearly 20mins checking it all out (they hadn't seen one before) You can book in a customer car if you need to get to work and drop it off when you pick your car up (choice of Tiida, Patrol of Xtrail). They will do anything that needs to be done. I have had it there for a wheel bearing assembly (they had to bring in the unit and make a tool to fit it) and a transmission service. They are the only Nissan dealership I would take my car to. I do my own general servicing and only take it there every 50,000kms or if something really needs to be done.
  21. Yeah. I was looking at the Kenstyle EIK kit in mid-late 2007. Got hold of the supplier (in California) and got a price... problem was it "had" to be shipped from Japan to the US, then on to me in Melbourne. Cost was around $6.5k... before it was painted!! Anyway, this is what I WAS looking at (same colour as my car too!)
  22. Heaps in Japan... Bilstein BTS (adjustable and non-adjustable) Nismo S-tune Tien Super Wagon (with or without the electronic control) Aragosta HKS Hipermax Ai Star RSR etc... I do not know if they are all compatible with ARX though. Bilstein can be put on ARX (just ask Jetwreck & Andy65b) Nismo cannot. In Aus? I only know that Pedders can make a "Sports Ryder Extreme XA" adjustable kit for any M35. Oh yeah, and SK (when he was around) had a kit he would make up as well (big money though).
  23. Nobody wanting to keep their car cooler?
