  1. Yes. Or talk to Jetpilot1986 about some QFM A1RM pads. Great pad and very inexpensive.
  2. M35 uses the same brakes as the Z33 350z Touring (non-Brembo).
  3. I know... and do!
  4. $4950? I presume you mean $950?? I guess that means that you have to have it done before end of financial year as well, ay?
  5. heh, the only thing I hate about the JDM cars is that they all have to (or used to) look like they were smiling! +1 regarding the drivetrain...
  6. Only if you want to claim the insurance back at tax time
  7. Correct you are Andy. See Iain? Your RX (note, no "A") is much more like our "povo" RS's Can't help the smart ass-ness it is in the genes. Pics of sills? Btw, black leather seats with a dark interior > beige leather with bland interior *cough*Grandpa*cough* :laughing-smiley-014: j/k
  8. Haha! Now only 1 Sleep!!! and you don't have to worry about the exhaust pickup either. Your M35 better be available for a viewing this weekend mate I have seen other M35's around including the one you are referring to. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 I have seen (other one is near Geelong, there is also one up towards Ballarat) are owned by me and my mate
  9. Yeah, I got electric heated seats in my RS. Stainless steel door sill covers? Don't think that was standard on any of the models (correct me if I am wrong). Do the sill covers have "Nissan" punched into them or are they blank. I know that you can get blank ones and "Infinity" stamped ones in Japan (why the Japanese feel they have to put the word Infinity on their Nissan's is beyond me ) Other small shit? Are you referring to the chrome "X" on the rear door instead of the "S"??
  10. I don't have a garage at the moment. Shannons knows this (my insurance went up ~$100pa) That said, the block I currently live on is set back with only a 30m driveway to the road. There goes your exhaust? Why?
  11. You sure about that? I was under the impression that only the ARX had the LSD. The RS/RX are practically the same car with a slightly different interior, integrated stereo (6 Disc) and rear seat vents for air-con .
  12. Standard Dump (with pre-cat), Kakimoto front pipe (de-cat), Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust. Sounds bloody good and flows nicely. Only thing is that I would probably prefer to fit the Kakimoto R exhaust as it is 80mm (same as the front pipe) whereas the Legalis is slightly smaller at 3". Anyone here got a Kakimoto R exhaust (for M35 of course) in good condition and is in Vic by any chance? I only want the Kakimoto R because the pipe diameter will match the front pipe. I much prefer the Legalis twin pipe muffler.
  13. Forget Just Cars. Go with Shannons. Much better for anyone over 30 with an import. You may want to check what the insured value is and what Just Cars will pay out if it is stolen or written off. Assuming that you have a cleanish history, you shouldn't be looking at over $900 with Shannons.
  14. I guess you have it a bit easier over there with mods, huh? Stock pipe shouldn't be a problem, have a look at this thread for a dump replacement.
  15. I would probably have a cat somewhere in there. You never know when you can get pulled over and an EPA test requested... although you aren't in Vic are you... Don't know about "overspinning" the OE turbo. I push 15psi or so, but have had mine rebuilt so no more ceramic (too much back pressure destroyed the ceramic exhaust wheel). Best person to ask would probably by Jetwreck as he had his 3" exhaust with the stock turbo. I swear I recall him saying that it was peaking ~15psi anyway... same as stock. Although it has let go since then and required a rebuild.
  16. Turbo or dump back 3" exhaust No question. Get rid of as much back pressure from your turbo as possible. Will give you more power and will save you from an early turbo rebuild.
  17. Nah, not crazy man... I bought mine from Northshore Prestge (Sydney) 2 years ago over the net. At the time, there was not even anyone on these forums that had one. Leap of faith (plus I fell in love with it straight away), but thankfully the guys at Northshore Prestige were and still are VERY helpful. Wouldn't change a thing... except I would have gotten the exhaust on straight away
  18. 'cause everyone like a good *bump* in the evening
  19. Hmm, how did it look with the "nudge bar" (middle of car, about 400mm wide?) Andy? May be getting a nudge gate for the new place & my folks have one also (12" gate with a tyre in the middle that you push open with your bumper). Down side is that it has marked the corner of my front bar Thus the possible need for the nudge bar.
  20. Lol... Does sound kinds ghey.. ... says the lonely VIC M35 owner on these boards. (You don't count as of today Nic!)
  21. Same price for both 8100 & 300v Chrono? I don't think I would shop there... Lol... try an M owner and I think the word you are after is "trustworthy"!
  22. Keep it! If it is a 3" exhaust, get a matching size front pipe. The less restriction on our turbo the better... believe me!.. unless you want an excuse to HiFlow/replace your turbo. No point (sound excluded) in having the restrictive stock front pipe (cat) with a large cat-back exhaust. Got any pics from under the car? Would like to know which system you have (looks familiar) and if you also have a 3" front pipe.
  23. No V35 owners after a performance radiator?
