  1. I know that the usual suspects have Nismo gear for C34's. RHDJapan Nengun (if neither have what you want on their site, just send them an email asking for it) Try a search for "C34" on Import Monster. Link International are the "oficial" distributors of Nismo gear in Australia. If you want part numbers, go here!
  2. Yep, mine went at around 110,000kms. If you do get a 250t, the first thing you should do is get a 3" turbo-back or at the very least dump-back exhaust. It is more the back pressure on the exhaust wheel than excessive boost as stock ARX's seem to push ~15psi on full boost Not much else has gone wrong with mine (2001 model with 148,000kms on the clock), just a wheel bearing assembly needed to be replaced (they are a sealed unit). Can't complain at all, performance, space, build quality, comfort and good economy for a car that size. Also, put the right set of wheels on one (for the colour) and you would think you are driving a Lambo with the amount of stares you get
  3. OFF TOPIC: YES! Can someone PLEASE make all dirt bikes electric? Their sound is more annoying than a mozzie buzzing around your ear at night!.. especially at 6am on a Sunday morning. Nothing like wanting to put up some piano wire across the road... right about neck height As for the Tesla? I think I would prefer a hydrogen car than electric. Still get the Vroom Vroom
  4. For what it's worth (and from what I can gather), the Japanese part number is "KIT4716" for the bars & mounting bracket as a set.
  5. Perhaps you should get payment up front for the season. Definitely minimizes no-shows.
  6. LOL. You will destroy an FTO.
  7. hmm Z436 you say? I have been using the Z445 and brand equivalents for the past 64,000kms. K&N - HP1008 Amsoil - ea012
  8. Sounds familiar. I work in Mount Eliza, like a mini Toorak. The favoured vehicles around here are Porsche, Benz & BMW. Lots of ML's, X5's and Cayenne's. Just saw a $Mil driving down the road in the form of a Rolls Phantom Drophead. Black with White leather. Top down. Certainly owns the street for looks. Had an AMG ML63 roar up beside me this morning & drop the kids off. Aston DB9 in "British Green"... again dropping the kid off *sigh* Again, sounds too familiar. The reason they can't drive properly is because the world owes them and everyone bends to their will and focus' on them. You didn't know this? Ignorant pr*cks.
  9. Do you have a chipped PS1/PS2? If so, you could d/l it no doubt. I am sure that Google could turn up a cheap copy for ya.
  10. Looks like we "Volvo" drivers are gaining numbers! You guys modding or staying stock? Pics of cars guys (or create a Garage).
  11. Congrats and welcome. A lot of car for the money, that is for sure! Love the RS in black. Did it come with any extras? Pics (or create a "Garage"). You have got to show off your new ride!
  12. mmmhmmm... You paint a lovely picture there Sir.
  13. Turbo back, Dump back or just the rear pipe (exhaust)?
  14. Welcome. Definitely a decision you will not regret. Agree with zei20l, pics please!
  15. The brakes actually aren't that bad if you use a good pad. I am using QFM A1RM at the moment. Great price & performance. No brake dust (which is a must for me) and they seem to wear well. Talk to Jetpilot1986 about them. Otherwise, if you have the money, get the Z33/V35 Brembos. They bolt straight up. I believe that Andy65b and Jetwreck have put R33 brakes on their M35's... Still waiting for a thread on it...
  16. Which Walbro did you order (part#)? Or was it for a VQ35?
  17. Thanks guys.
  18. Yes they do. Direct bolt on. Yes, they would. Anyone want to donate a set to a willing guinea pig?
  19. So how does the trans temp get up to operating temperature in a manual then? Does it need to? Why different to auto? Something to do with the torque converter I presume?? Sorry about all the q's, but if you don't know something...
  20. hmm build plate 303xxx. Crap. How can you tell if the problem has already been checked and/or fixed on your vehicle? silver sticker on the right hand side of the vehicle type plate inside the engine compartment Silver sticker? Check (phew!) I have 2. 1 blank and 1 with R185 on it. Wonder if that means it has been done twice?
  21. LOL That did come to me... later. What about a manual trans then? They generally don't have the tube going through the radiator, correct?
  22. Maybe I am a bit slow (a BIT??), but it still does not make sense to me. The tube through the radiator has fins and is submerged in coolant. How does this "bring it up to temperature"? I would have thought it would have kept it cooler...
  23. Transmission gets pretty warm on these things quite quickly. It was my understanding that the transmission cooler in the radiator (bottom tank & surrounded by coolant) was there to help cool the transmission fluid. But I read above that it is there to warm up the fluid? What keeps the trans fluid from over-heating then? Excuse my lack of knowledge, but "please explain"?
  24. Wouldn't the radiator from the R33 fit? If so; http://www.mishimoto.com/nissan-skyline-r3...-mishimoto.html (check boombop shop at eBay Motors for a much nicer price) I have an Infinity G35 Mishimoto radiator for my M35. VERY nice unit. No trans cooler in them though, but you could just get either a Mishimoto or PWR trans cooler (I have both and will be running them in parallel).
  25. Early Sunday arvo on Nepean Hwy in Frankston, spotted a Ferrari 360 Modena (red, of course) following a red (with yellow wheels) Dodge Viper.
