  1. lol, they get dirty enough with, well, dirt which makes the Diamond finish look like the Silver finish. A splash of Maguires Gold car wash and they are lovely and pretty again btw... I know you want them
  2. Just checked. Yep 270kw. My error. A mate of mine has a VE SS which has 307kw as stock, so I don't know what "option" was different with his, but it is definitely not an HSV.
  3. Erm, just so you know, with one wheel up and handbrake off, my old man's Prado's wheel can be rotated & it has an LSD. Maybe I will just wait 'till the weekend and see if there is anything stamped on it instead!
  4. zei20l is correct. Timing CHAINS for all VQ's. Yes, under my bonnet it states timing belt change at 100,000kms... But I assure you, the VQ engine has a timing chain. Why don't you call Nissan if you are still unsure?
  5. Gotta say, I REALLY care about non-dusty pads. Especially after helping my mate clean all the black "dust" from his Work rims (He has the Endless calipers and pads - quite dusty). Black "dust" does not aid the appearance of Nismo LMX5's either.
  6. I think someone is either confusing a VT-VZ SS or they have some interesting mods on their M35. Remember, the VE SS has over 300kw stock while an M35 has just over 200kw stock while being around the same weight. It does not add up unless the road was wet, then it is quite possible.... and has been done
  7. QFM A1RM are quiet, dust free (LMX5's show brake dust worse than white wheels!) and perform bloody well. They seem to be kind to rotors and have a pretty good life span Whole set (front & rear) cost me $191 delivered. Found them to be MUCH better than Ferodo or Bendix (which I think are WAAAAYYY over-rated).
  8. Just whipped this up. Hope it helps Nick! Getting started instructions attached. ReadMe___Important_.doc Ok. I like to open up the FAST Menu (as opposed to opening up FAST for Windows)... Don't ask me why though. Step 1. Select FAST from the menu Step 2. Put in your VIN (No this is not mine) FAST will display info of your car Step 3. Open General Index - this is a way you can find out specific part numbers Step 4. Select which category the info for the parts your are after are in. For this example I will be pulling up part numbers for NM35 Stamped Stainless Steel Door Sill Trim *Note* It may take a bit of searching to find exactly what you are after Step 5. To select a picture, simply left click on it then click "OK". If you have chosen the wrong picture, you MUST right click it to de-select, then select another pic by left clicking. *Notice the "Page forward" and "Page back" buttons at the bottom of the screen. And there you have it!
  9. Sooo, do you get hard when using the tiptronic or are you "already there"? (you don't really need to answer that - mind works in pictures remember!) Yep, I did it when I did my iPod install. Definitely worth while. Have a look HERE for detailed instructions.
  10. Broken boost gauge eh? Yep, me too. Hasn't worked properly since 2 weeks after I got it. Had a number of looks at it and so have RE Customs.. Nothing doing. Have given up on it and will be looking at getting a Nismo cluster (in the distant future).
  11. Will these pics do?
  12. Yes it does. Confirmed by Mishimoto.
  13. *sigh* $400 guys. Full aluminium radiator. Suite G35/V35 In PERFECT condition, in original packaging (see last pic). Losing a heap on it at this price.
  14. hmm will have to try tonight. Could be interesting since the fronts are on ramps at the moment (and have been for the past week! )
  15. Nice... but, uhhh, he beat you in a Fiat?
  16. Beat me to that question. I have planted it in the wet (determined to get it sideways). U-turn (or U-bolt for all the NSW peeps) at about 15kph, then planted it 3/4 of the way through. Rear end slipped out a little (turned the wheel to between 10 & 11 o'clock to correct) and fronts immediately gripped and I was at 100kph in no time. How would an LSD or lack of LSD change this scenario?
  17. As stated earlier... Yup. Would love me a set 'o Brembos.
  18. Spruik all you want mate. Would love to get my hands on an English manual for these cars, not names "G35 service manual" (although it is quite useful). Don't have the Japanese one, but I have seen them from time to time on Import Monster.
  19. *chin sinks into chest* * face sinks into hands* Guess it has nothing to do with the "Aero selection" as they say. I would say that it may have been something Nissan introduced in 2002+, but my mates M35 doesn't have them either!
  20. Cheeky bastard
  21. mmm, Nismo suspension with SK's sway bars... Anyone know where I can get some by any chance seeing as SK as gone walkabouts? TIEN Super Wagon HKS Hipermax LS+ (adjustable)
  22. F***'n Mo******ker! B*******! F***'n son of a two bit, well used a*** w**** ! F***! F***!! F***!! F***!! *ahem* ...and where, per say would my lovely Stagea stamped door F***'N TRIM BITS BE??? ummm, yeah guys. They look good.
  23. I am with Shannons and just turned 32. Agreed value is $25k $500 excess currently ~$980 (I pay $82 per month), but I WAS paying $72 per month (~$860) at my old place. Should go back to that when I move
  24. You could probably get the Nismo cluster in there. I believe that was designed with the RS/RX in mind. Vaguely recall reading that it is calibrated for 18/7.5/45... ie the LMX5's Yeah man, me too. S l o w l y getting there. Can have a Nismo suspension kit sent over for a bit less than $2k atm. No good for ARX though. HKS Hipermax maybe Danny?
  25. $1200 excess?? Damn, man.
