  1. Not personally, but spent a lot of time in 56 seat buses that did random u-turns through red traffic lights, and went for a ride in an electric rickshaw. Trust me, the roads in Perth are military precision, comparitively
  2. Pft - try spending a week in Shanghai and Beijing
  3. dude, he has a merc AND a bmw in his garage (which is probably carpeted and heated 24/7 AFAIK) so, yeah he could afford it bloody liberals
  4. how about you get a heap of those little plastic table thingys out of the pizza boxes, and blue-tak them all over your car before you put the cover on?
  5. frameless windows = easy target, so yer, spend up big on security man.
  6. all I know, is standing on the train station platform at 6.15am this morning was rather conductive to getting a mangina.
  7. me three I even have a R34 shroud with mine, for better ducting. In Perth, $100 for quick sale, I will even deliver on weekends (ie, please take this bloody thing outta my shed)
  8. I is a donor. Exactly how much, if any, of whats left of me will be any use to anyone is kinda debatable, but if you can use it, and I am done with it, help yourself!
  9. less whining, more interior pics
  10. can you imagine how hard it would be to turn if you didnt have an open centre front diff? Just grab the wheel that wasnt turning and spin it by hand, if the front drive shaft or other wheel doesnt rotate then you have a problem.
  11. it will fit, but you need a section put in after the centre muffler, and possibly a section added after the rear diff. It will probably still be cheaper getting one modified than getting a zorst shop to make it all custom.
  12. and please, for the love of all that is good and holy, DONT replace one stud. As previously mentioned, the other 4 WILL stretch so its much safer (and easier in the long run) to replace all of the studs in the hub affected.
  13. obviously it would be polytropic, as isothermal refers to a system change in which the temperature remains as a constant, and adiabatic refers to a change in temperature CAUSED by a change in pressure, not the other way around. It could be described as a diabatic process, but personally I would refer to that as an isocaloric process, due to the heat being caused by an external energy infraction (in this case, friction)
  14. I would be a little careful going over 40 psi on the open road due to higher running temps. Considering Chales Law of Thermodynamics (pressure is proportional to temperature in a given volume) if your tyre temps are likely to go up then you could easily end up with a tyre pressure approaching 50psi. Apart from the obvious lowering of grip, due to less sidewall deflection and reduced contact patch, the effects of a blowout will be much more pronounced. All that risk for a possible saving of 0.1% fuel mileage doesnt really add up IMO. Try alternating the pressures fron to rear too - a difference of only 2psi can be felt quite easlily. If you want a little more direct feeling in the steering wheel while maintaining a rear grip bias, try going 2 psi higher on the front.
  15. I am down like James Brown for this. Its been too long since y'all have feared Teh Fury Only thing is, this weekend is out for me (getting new CV's and stuff sorted out) and I am off OS at the start of July for 2 weeks, so if any long trips could be postponed until after then, I would be on that like a fat kid on a cupcake. I would also suggest maybe a trip to somewhere more interesting than Albany? Nice place to visit, but the drive isnt very interesting unless you take the long way down through the Stirling Ranges. I can heartily recommend Bridgetown/Nannup area, with maybe a side trip to Donnelly River (because the road is freaking awesome) and that way we could swing through Bunbury to pick up the SW guys.
  16. I am pretty sure it was me who hates you spermy. Dan - you never asked me to come riding with you
  17. sif deny your public Srsly though, those pants any good? I tried to read the link, but the thought of you in "vented thigh's" is too distracting for me to concentrate
  18. i dont care if its locked in, that guy still has huge fkn stones, and a LOT of faith in the hydraulics of that thing. Makes my trick of picking up coins with a forklift seem a bit piss weak too
  19. from my new router westnet adsl2+
  20. and yet they are advertising them, including an estimate for compliance, and not a whisper on the site about the fact that they cannot organise compliance? Thats just plain fricken rude!
  21. or you could get an Autech Axis... http://www.j-spec.com.au/featured/2003-Nis...350S-14427.html http://www.j-spec.com.au/featured/2004-Nis...350S-14428.html
  22. +1 for earth problem Check the battery earth lead - both ends
  23. no, the AWD system is actually based on the GT4 which was NA - the only GTR based systems were in the Autech. Its kinda interesting really, the stagea was the ONLY RB25DET powered AWD system Nissan ever made... Yes the gearbox will handle it, as will the diffs, transfer case etc, but to make sure I would recommend a thermo controlled trans oil cooler and a shift kit as a sensible precaution
