  1. ok, fair call on the employment status. I was "unemployed" for most of 2009 but I still managed to work more than 70 hours a week At least things arent that bad. Oh, and about the coffee - YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!!11!!TY *hugs french press* dont listen to the bad man, he knows not what he says I am not clicking that link either, and I refuse to drink coffee made from beans shat by weasels. That whole stupid idea was thought of by the same people that think its OK to rape perfectly good coffee with tinned fkn codensed milk. I enjoy a morning cappacino as much as the next oversized-sunglasses-wearing-hipster, but tinned condensed milk???
  2. Sif!! I am a redneck from Kelsmcott Had to attend a funeral at lunchtime today, and despite starting at 5.45am this morning (trying to put my insomnia to good use) I am still here at work Could today suck any harder? I submit, it could NOT!!
  3. you would have been much better off swapping in a SR20. They are lighter and move the weight further back so you would get handling improvements as well as more power than an RB25DE. So, for the ultimate win, I think you need to sell the R33, buy a 300zx (engine out, natch) and then slot an SR20 inthere. If you source the SR from a pulsar you can go straight to FWD and ergo, ignore the gearbox when you pull the engine as it will no longer be doing anything hope this helps
  4. so many haters! I reckon it wuz a fuwlly sik skid, and you should rush out and get 4 15" subwoofa's and some chrome 22" rims on that bad boy STAT uleh
  5. Nah, he fly's back in some time tomorrow apparently. Fkn wimminz eh? I learned a long time ago not to even try and take She Who Must Be Obeyed to any car stuff. The only one we do together is the fathers day show in freo, and even then its only because the kids are adamant that we do something that dad wants to do, bless their little cotton socks
  6. I actually considered going to that, and then I remebered about the window licking special bus riding boble headed tricycle pilots that organise things at barbagello so I stayed away and went to a hot rod show instead
  7. Pft - I have eaten the worlds hottest chilli, and it was nuthin OK, it made me cry like a little girl, but the endorphin rush was unfknblvble.
  8. bell shaped eh? That narrows it down a fair bit actually. They are either going to be habanero's or scotch bonnets. There are a bazillion different varieties of each (and probably twice that many hybrid varieties) but both are usually in the upper end of the heat range. I would probably put my money on a habanero because the scotch bonnets are notoriously hard to grow for anyone other than a specialist, and most people cant handle the heat of them. - the bhut jolokia (also known as the Ghost Chilli, hottest chilli in the world) is a scotch bonnet...
  9. less drunk tightwad teenagers. What a fkn tragedy
  10. Dunno mang, i am far from a chilli expert, still learning myself, but stick some pics up and I will have a crack. Always up for chilli pics Heres a couple of mine The multi coloured habanero experiment (in a recycled pot decorated by our youngest child, the artist formerly known as stinky chicken) The African yellow - not a great pic, but this thing is fruiting like buggery!
  11. The old adage about AC being turned on really only applies to older cars. Even the C34 stagea's dont engage the clutch on the air con straight away. My old series one used to turn the air con off breifly when I buried the right slipper even. (something I wish all cars with an automatic gearbox did - best idea ever IMO)
  12. Hey peeps! Man, I has been busier than a one legged man in an arse kicking competition. Flat out at work, even busier at home prepping for the onslaught of festivities that befall us this time of year, as well as finishing off my new front garden and tending the buggery out of this years new chilli plants. Started a new semi ornamental bed that has chocolate, white, orange and red habanero's, all circling a new hybrid habanero that throws orange purple red and green all from the same plant (apparently - havent seen any fruit from it yet) I also have a really nice African Yellow going now that is putting out some really nice waxy fruit about 6-8" long My crossbreeding experiment from last year (a Black Pearl pollenated with a Thai Silk) has recovered from a late cold spell beautifully too and started throwing some rather tasty fruit too - a little smokier in flavour than the thai with a lot more moisture in the flesh than the black pearl. Its just a pity it didnt keep the awesome round shaped fruit, but you cant have everything. With all these colours I should get some kick ass salsa's this summer.
  13. brand spanking new RE001's are paying for themselves at last
  14. +11ty I lived in the flats on Dover Ct, about 15 years ago and that place was fkn scary. 2 people jumped/got thrown off the roof, i major prostitutuion bust and 3 drunk/stoned people tried to smash their way into my flat all in the 6 months I lived there. I moved out to Lockridge to feel safer /csb Have you tried isoprophyl alcohol on the glue?
  15. or it was the one of the V8supertaxi safety cars that was locally supplied (and stickered) for the last shanghai round
  16. +1 wut? if my car is "eating" 1lt per 1000km then I would be worried. That would be a damn good sign you need rings or valve stem seals at the least
  17. Green stagea's have a nasty habit of getting written off and I dont own a stagea either, sif thats gonna stop me from attempting to whore up a storm in here
  18. there was no reason for you to keep calling my house and yelling at my children.

  19. I fkn love you guy. I was sure no one else would know the significance of that little gem.
  20. dude, its a legnum you give me $5 AND the car, maybe I will take it off your hands.
  21. BMC A series /thread
  22. the pulsars of that era are pretty prone to rust, so if you do look at any, just make sure that the body doesnt have more bog and newspaper than metal. The engines are pretty good though. Personally I would go for a corolla, or if you can find one, an early rwd corona. Those things are damn near indestructable, and if you find a jap built one with the old 18R engine in it, then it will run forever. (they also built them here with the "starfire" engine from the 4cyl commodores...*shudders* ) Also, if you can handle the shame, a datto 120Y or any of the late datsuns/early nissans with the A series engines in them are pretty reliable and stupidly cheap to fix if they do break.
  23. doo eeeet! Haters gonna hate, fkn let em I say
