  1. hey lads, my mate is interested in buying a legnum. on paper they look like a nice package. 4wd, twin turbo 2.5ltr V6, active yaw control, 206kw out of the box, and the practicality of a sporty little station-wagon. these cars are still pretty uncommon on the streets. has anyone had any personal experiance with these cars? ive seen a few youtube clips, thats about it. cheers adam
  2. i really dont think 20kw is attainable by swapping from split to bellmouth.
  3. yeah mate she would say "your 3rd gear skids are sick!!" try it.
  4. hey lads i work at the regatta, i drive a black 32, its parked there most days, maybe some of u may have seen it? anyway just saying hi. i dont really have anyone to go for drives with so i usually go by myself. do u guys go on cruises much? id be keen to tag along some time. cheers adam
  5. mate at least your not a chef.. haha if u wana talk about shit pay, shit work conditions, shit days off, no weekends, high stress blah blah blah. linton is correct however when he said everything will fall into place. life has a funny way sorting itself out. apprenticeships are very tough, just stick it out, and learn as much as u can and enjoy the fact u dont start work at 9am and finish at 11pm with NO BREAKS, and that u actually get a weekend, and u can have fun with ya mates, go to track days and on cruises and generally enjoy life.
  6. wow you lads enjoy some seriously shit drinks. soft drinks are for 5 year olds, and energy drinks are for gimps. if ya thirsty, drink water.
  7. ive got a nistune board in my 32. the car was runny very rich, and sloppy before the nistune (fmic, full exhaust, splitfires, 14psi blah blah blah) cold starts were shit, and it idled like a dog until the engine was hot, now with the tune, installed and tuned by mercury motorsports in brizzy, power is more apparent thru the whole rev range, idle is very smooth, better fuel economy, gained about 10kw at the wheels, but its just a nicer car to drive. i would deffinately recommend this product, as it does such a great job, easy to tune, and very reasonably priced. adam
  8. jjr is cheap chinese shit. if u want a decent exhaust, stay "legal", and actually care about quallity AUSTRALIAN MADE products, get a CES exhaust.
  9. why dont u post a picture or 2? usually helps with a sale.
  10. +1 vacuume leak
  11. its AAC valve, not AAV. but go to the DIY section.
  12. depending on what state you are in, the fine for not having a catalytic converter on a street car can be up to $10,000. if your chasing 1 or 2kw by running a decat pipe, is it really worth the fine? if u want to make more power, dont f**k around with cats, get your engine built, better turbo, deacent ecu, and a good tune.
  13. mercury motorsport in wilston. great guys who always do a great job. www.mercurymotorsport.com.au
  14. hehe gold!
  15. mate instead of sitting on the computer typing on a forum, why not book the car into a performance workshop (surprise, there are plenty of them) and get them to give the car a once over. then u have peace of mind knowing that the problems have been fixed, and u didnt have to fork out 7K for a new engine. 14 pound with a stock 32 cooler isnt the smartest idea either..
  16. as long as you NEVER EVER put a gtr badge on it i wouldnt care, its your car, your money, just dont lie about it.
  17. its not tuned at all. running stock ecu rite now. nistuned being installed and tuned on thursday.
  18. o2 sensor was replaced about 6 months ago. its just running rich as a bastard
  19. good idea mate. ill give you the hot tip tho, all the bull shit on this forum about dyno's goes strait out the window when you take ya skyline to the track and realise that ya 10-15 year old car has brakes that dissapear after 2 laps, suspension that is sloppier than porrage, and tyres that loose traction mid corner and spin ya into the dirt. then u realise that dyno's mean absolutley sweet f**k all. rant over. have fun mate!! adam
  20. ive got a family of red-head street kids living under my passenger seat. the missus hates it.
  21. hey lads im getting a nistune chip installed in my rb20 r32 (fmic, bosch pump, splitfires, full exhaust, blah blah blah). currently getting 155rwkw, BUT i get about 270km per tank of fuel haha. im really interested in hearing what results people have had with a similar setup using Nistune ecu. cheers adam
  22. i smashed the gearbox in my swift gti once, couldnt drive it anywhere, the plan was to leave it in the quiet neighbourhood street that it failed in for a few days til i got a chance to organise a workshop and a towey, after about 4 or 5 days i woke up to 2 cop cars full of police banging on my front door wanting to know if it was my car, and did i know where it was, and why had it been there for so long etc etc. f**kin massive overkill on their behalf, but i guess if it had of been stolen, then i would have been very thankful for their help.
  23. i couldnt stand the interior. that, and the fact its auto. buy a gtr.
  24. dont mean to be rude mate, but if the car is performing how you want it, and drives how you want it to, and you happy with the power and torque of the engine, why do you care about a dyno print out? do what your mate said, and enjoy it! who cares what a dyno says!!
  25. still running the stock ecu?
