no:3, that makes perfect sence! I didn't think of it like that. Now that is all making sense, think we'll order the 33 core (we live in the tropics, and warm up is not such an issue!) Cheers

Like the post says.. 3intheback has a S2 that has got a cronic problem. It is jammed up good and proper. We placed the header tank on my manual S1 R33 and guess what.. they are the same! Same part numbers and all. I did notice that my skyline core is thicker than the stagea by a few mm. So, we are thinking of swapping his tanks onto a secondhand R33 core. So now we both have a few Q's: 1: can the core be interchanged between the two cars? We are thinking so.. 2: due to the age of the older core, should we swap it? 3: why did nissan go to a smaller radiator in the later car that produces MORE horsepower AND has a transcooler in it? Anybody tried this or have any idea's?

I am amazed that there never seems to be an end to the sheer number of flog bags with to much money and no brains! Ok, If nissan make a 36GTR in 4 years or so, and one happens to make it here, the owner of those plates may be sitting on a gold mine if he can convince some poor soul to part with yet more hard earned cash. hmm, should we all now go buy S16 SIL, V36 GTT or SYLY 16 number plates? If our country starts to stoop to those levels of profiteering, perhaps we should form a support group and start to ship these idiots to a far away land.. but who would take them?

Grigor, Mate, your right, I go through there LOTS! Mostly I think there is a number of small things that add up. Usually people come unstuck due to a lack of concentration. But why in that area? I dunno.. I see it like this: 1: the road surface, even though it has been relayed a few times.. it does 'feel' odd. 2: its a wide flat road that gets a lot of dew and rain tends to just 'sit' on the road. So grime and oil does not get washed away. 3: driver fatigue, lots of people drive from Brizzy to Gympie in a hit, sadly lots dont make it. 4: Idiots doing dumb things in the wrong places! Bad passing, late braking.. no lights.. 5: lots of coastal showers 6: Campher trees: these stupid pests of trees have some oil in their berries apparently. that section of road is lined with these trees for a few Km, on both sides. So, add it all together.. So, You get a winding, flat bit of crap road with oil on the surface, and the dew has not evaporated yet.. (or the rain). Then people try and overtake to late, they bawke brake and nobody has a clue what they or anybody else are doing. Suddenly it all comes apart.. and SMASH! Thats how I see it, Just hang right back from the pack and wait. You will see exactly what I mean. I drive a big coach through there and people in barina's try and play chicken with me..? What are they thinking? or not thinking? My advice, keep good tyres on ya car, Stay at least 3 seconds behind the car in front. Avoid the drive in bad weather!

I'm building a off road buggy with a 1.3L in it... should weigh in about 350kg (if i can keep the weight down, also depends how much i can strip off the engine!) Wont be as crazy as that little machine, but will feel like it on dirt! Good on ya!

huh? perhaps I have missed something....? the BOv is plumbed into the intercooler pipe AND the plenum, so, how is it possable that it could ever leak if it had the same pressure on BOTH sides of the BOV under boost? it has pressure from the intercooler pipe (boost) and it has pressure from the signal line which also reads (boost)? the only difference is the throttle body.. it has a (granted not so strong spring) to hold it shut, so, if it had the same PSI on both sides, where exactly is the boost going to go? Hav I missed something? Cos, I'm happily running 16PSI with my hi-mount with no issues what so ever..? somebody alot smarter than I, had better have a good answer cos I dont!

There is grass and dirt off the sides of the skid pan.. but that is not the primary cause of the dirt. Like I said, its because of the creek water. Go have a look inside the tank! I have aslo been to the skid pan a few times myself.. Even after a small flood, the skid pan isn't overly dirty! If you are keen to get rid of the dirt, I'm sure 'RoadCraft' will be happy to let you solve the problem and add more concrete around the outside.. Then we all get to play on a bigger area! Anyway, I dont care about the dirt very much, thats why I invite the youth group kids to do the car wash! What a great day out! I had a slipping clutch (different story!), some others suffered some serious slipping wheels and others just slipped down the leader board!

Well, if it does rain.. GOOD! The skid pan becomes like glass and is megga slippery, even better if it rains after we have been there for a while and got into the groove a bit.. As for getting dirty, umm, no. Its a lot cleaner after and during the rain. Cos most of the time the water is from the creek, only in droughts is town water used. Keeps the costs down, and the greenies are a little happier... If it rains, and you dont come.. well.. more skid time for me!

well, there are cars with 4 wheels and engines which turn tyres! lol Too be honest, the list has changed so much in the last 72 hours, I dont actually know for sure.. But it appears (unless I screwed up!) all the spots are taken and it is generally an import car day..? Not much help, so just wait at the gate and see what rolls up i guess!
