Ok, I have finanlly sorted out all the skid dates for next year! 15 March - Gympie Crew This Date is booked out! 10 May - SAU 14 June - Bundy Crew This is almost booked out! 12 July - Gympie Crew This Date is booked out! 13 Sept - SAU 11 Oct - Gympie Crew This Date is booked out! Everybody is welcome to attend the Gympie Crew's skid days. Contact [email protected] for bookings. The SAU days will be organised by RevHead (or the new President) and as usual you will need to be a paid SAU member. Contact RevHead for details and bookings. He has let the odd non-member in! The Bundy Crew skid days are being organised by my mate Lars.(Nissan-R33) There will be cars from Bundy, Hearvey Bay and Maryborough. There will be a price rise due to a rise in the hire of the skid pan complex. This can not be avoided. I expect the price to rise to about $120 per car. As normal for my skid days, your entry fee entitles you and one freind to free tuition, BBQ lunch and free soft drinks all day! The skid day is 8am-4pm. lunch is eaten on the run between goes. Tuition is built into the day as part of the day. Our tuitor is a qualified driving instructor. One on one tuition is available to anybody who asks at no extra cost, in or out of your car! Feel free to ask any questions. Feel free to ask other guys who have been skidding for their opinion..! I have marked all my previous skid day posts with the blue question mark. I did this so it is easy to track.. check them out! Any other Q's?
-
Look for all details in other threads I started. I have used the blue question mark '?' so guys can find them!

I havn't hit many cones.. so I cant give it a try and tell ya how well it works...! Next SAU skid day will be next year... 3intheback and I are considering the dates for next year. But u are all welcome to come for a gawk on oct 13! At this stage, I personally am thinking 6 days in total. 3 for SAU, 3 for the locals.. cheers

Hey.. doen't seem like there are any other forum members in bundy.. only 3 in Gympie.. 1 in hearvey bay! wow, for the massive amount of imports I see hooning around.. there are stuff all of em on here! Hey Noel.. leave Lars alone ya silly old man! He skids better than u do! aaarghh ha ha ha! I'm considering a trade on my 33. My wife wants a 4b. I'm thinkin its not a bad idea. I might do a ska.. but I wont be buying a snot box commodore!

I think you owe me cyrus... Like a set of big injectors would keep me quiet, my poor lazy bumm... So, u gonna bring the generals bucket of plastic crap down for a skid? It wont be a fix for the massive lack of style and power ur stag had.. but it should at least put a small smile on ur dial and make u remember a bit more about fonder, older days! I think the stagea section should send your poor wife a huge bunch of flowers as a small token of gratitude for the collosal amount of time you have poured into this place... some of us are REALLY gonna miss ya dude.
-
hey Cody.. I wanted to spend some time with u in ur car.. but due to a cronic lack of sleep and a very hectic week, I wasn't feeling real flash. Hopefully I will get that chance soon yeh! I have not checked to see if ur in yet.. but I hope u made it! Chat to u later man

Ok, due to time issues on my part, I will NOT be running another SAU exclusive skid pan day this year. I am very sorry, but this cannot be helped or avoided. However, the up shot is that you are all welcome to book into our last regular skid day held on Saturday 13 Oct. We will be covering all the same style of things, with the same format for the day that you have become used to with us. as per the other threads, you will need to email Grant on [email protected] for bookings. or 0439771788 You can expect bookings to go very quickly. So book and pay now. Some of you already know how fast the bookings go.. Don't come crying to me if you miss out. you have been told. LOL that was last years clip.. still working on this years..!

Hi all, I have an Exedy button clutch that needs a rebuild. I like it, so i am wishing to rebuild it if it is cost effective. It didn't have any slip, but is just worn out. So, I'm looking for somebody to give me an idea of what i'm up for. Cheers Aaron Please PM me.
-
Ok, it looks pritty grim. Noboy seems to have any. Gates is saying its at least 12 weeks before they 'may' start production again..
-
Yea sorry about that. I forgot to add the .au part! silly me! all fixed, and I added his fone number as well
-
Got 3 more PM's. I have replied.. I don't have hoses yet, but its looking better than buying from the store.
-
I was PM'ed that 3lit32 might have some.. so, PM sent! Thanks Fineline Anybody else got a brand, price and availablity?
-
Ok, like it says, I'm after a pair of radiator hoses. The blue ones from Gates would do the trick. 3 of my local parts suppliers say that there is a massive back log for these things. I have been on a list for 7 months with one store! I'm over it. I have a split hose, and they both replacing asap. One of the suppliers said that the factory that makes those hoses suffered a massive fire, and hence the back log. Anybody know anybody who sells them? I was quoted $90 for the pair... if they EVER arrive! I will consider another brand, but what? not keen on the ebay ones..

R33 - RB25Det died while cruising! Cracked 2nd compression ring in No:5 cylinder. @64 000km. unknown reason. Oil was castrol sythetic. 20-50 or something(cant remember) Lost engine and turbo. I suspect that when the engine died it fed crap through the oil and blocked the oil pressure feed to the turbo. There was lots of carbon in the oil passeges when i pulled it down. Regular service from me, however there are other things on the car which lead me to think it copped a hard time before a bought it, and poor service history.
