  1. Just ring around, someone may have stock somewhere. Even if they don't have stock, I'd be asking to buy now to lock in the buy 3 get 4 deal, then ask them to just fit them later once they're available (assuming you can wait). Also, just call around to any other shop you can think of. When I put AD08's on my Golf R, I literally called a dozen different places. Prices varied from $460/tyre down to $360/tyre (235/35/19). My honest opinion, don't let the price scare you. For daily, spirited twisty roads, or full track days, nothing beats the AD08's. My last set even lasted 35,000kms - without any rotations either! I have no idea where you are located, but if you're in Melbourne, try Associated Tyre Services in Cheltenham. They deal with Yokohama a lot, so get much better pricing that other shops.
  2. WRXmas this weekend, plus monthly meet at il.tavo on 10th Dec. No car? What've ya done to the '14?
  3. Yay for il.tavo... that place be delicious! (No seriously, their food is friggin' tops!)
  4. But the important question is... can I stare at my car while I eat? haha Reckon I should be there! ... Everything on their site looks delicious.
  5. Yo, nah Justin & Troy aren't members. Will do my best to convince them to join up though! Haha. My RaceChrono tells me I did a couple of 1:45.1's, but I just couldn't manage a 44... next time!
  6. Generally grouped by times, but if there's a large number of people from one club, they'll try to give them their own group. I didn't put SAU on my entry, hence I'm not in group E/F I guess.
  7. Myself and my R34 GTT driving mate are in C, another mate in his R33 GTST is in E.
  8. I know I'll be there, along with a couple of non-SAU member mates Pretty sure Richo said he and Chris will both be there too.
  9. Can't it just be Saturday already? ... I'd rather be at Winton now! On another note, being a championship round will you be doing the usual delicious BBQ Ash, or is it too short notice?
  10. That only works if they have low entry numbers. Unfortunately there's no way of knowing how many have entered other than calling them, which I just did, but apparently thew lady who organises the Tampered days is away today. Might try again tomorrow.
  11. Bugger, better get my entry in before you lot all fill the day!
  12. I'll be there for a look-see
  13. Might have to drag my ass along to GC tomorrow night... probably almost 12 months since I rocked along to a monthly meet.
  14. Can't agree more, was great watching Clarence work his magic. I'm amazed by his work, and haven't even seen the finished product yet! Haha Also, those sangas were boss... Thought they were bought, not home made!
  15. Yeah bugger it, I'm in too... $20 paid to SAU Vic Big day in the garage tomorrow washing/polishing/waxing the thing!
  16. Reckon I might have to give the golf a scrub and come along. Providing there's still spurs available, could I just pay in full on the night?
  17. Hoping to get along to watch & help out if needed - just not sure if I'll make it yet. Would have loved to enter, but I was there in the Golf last Saturday for the Tampered day
  18. Finally got around to fitting mine just now, work a treat. Shoulder & head are now a little sore since I didn't have anyone around to hold to bonnet! Haha. Thanks again Dave.
  19. Done and paid!
  20. I'm thinking similar thoughts to R32GOJIRA. I own a 33 GTST, but am wanting to put a GTR bonnet on it. Will the weight difference between steel and aluminium bonnet be an issue? I'd also have to swap the bonnet hinges from GTST to GTR too, will these brackets fit either?
  21. Not trying to thread bash, but FYI these are $975 delivered brand new of nengun.
  22. I'd say make a choice based on what you want the car for. If I wanted a toy, or track car, I'd be looking at something pre-modded. Whereas I wanted a clean daily, so I went for a pretty stock option. Also depends on yourself... I enjoy doing as much on my car as I can and learning in the process, whereas some mates aren't fussed and would prefer to pay a shop to mod.
  23. My preference was to go a Nismo too, but a mate switched to E85, so I got his old 040 for $50 No problems here!
  24. Generation meet hey... are we talking just GTR's, or just Skylines, or....?
