  1. emanages only burn coils if fitted wrong. the emanage blue for your car comes as a kit and requires no wiring and plugs in the same as a powerFc. ive seen mid to high 200rwkw's with the blue on RB25's
  2. R33 towers, ive been toying with the idea of R32 GTR'ing the front of the 180 (panels lights etc) i have here (leave 2wd as 4wd is less fun) and slotting the spare 26 in it. id do it purely to piss everyone skyline and 180 purist off i orginally measured up a 300zx front clip (most hated import) but it was way to much work.... and far wider. CATS drift car actualy uses a R32 GTS-T lower rad support and castor brakets, all that was left was to fit the towers but i CBF'd.
  3. Hardly theirs is cut and shut... i prefer to swap out the whole tower as it is neater and has factory strength.
  4. its pretty simple, i have fitted R33 suspension into the front of S series silvias and even contemplated running the gtr subframe and so forth in the drift car but after mocking it up it lacked adequate steering lock... so binned the idea. Where are you located? i would be happy to do the job. i even have the towers ready to go
  5. get a set of these babies
  6. yeah at Drift Australia in tassie about 6 drifteks were destroyed.... it is one of the reasons URAS dropped the NS01 from thier range... the cracked and broken copy drifteks were being mistaken for the genuine uras wheels. The URAS ones were far stronger. here is a pic of one of our customers R33 with them on.
  7. kick your mech in the balls.... that setup will create flow issues and result in near ZERO oil pressure if it has a thermostat like a GREDDY cooler etc
  8. Yes those DRIFT branded autobarn exhaust are good value, far better that your local exhaust shop jobbie... they come with lifetime warranty etc... i would not be happy to have the name plastered all over the car if i thought it was shit.
  9. how responsive? our hack makes 365rwkw atm and makes full boost by 4000-4100rpm
  10. incorrect you need it to lube the rear bearings. I have done about 6 of these now greg if you need one done. i just did one for type M in dandy. this is one of many threads ive posted pics. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb...amp;hl=transfer
  11. It could be done but the floor needs a LOT to work to fit the added box and cut down transfer. i do ALOT of cut down R32 and R33 GTR boxes for S13 and R32 conversions. The cost of a R34 GTR box and transfer will set you back the same as a Quaife 6sp or similar in good second hand condition..... and they will bolt straight in without all the hassles. pic of modded r33 transfer.
  12. i still reckon look at the build and not take it for granted, int balance, ext balance components.. harmonics etc as i know of alot of 'abused' rb's running N1 pumps. That said i always use the greddy or tomei ones as nowadays they are not that dear.
  13. id say it had too much preload when installed and it has worn prematurely or you did not let it warm up enough before thrashing. ATS and ORC carbon clutches are usually awesome.
  14. GTST, GTT, GTR and VG30 are virtually the same box, the GTR is only stronger as the output shaft has more support bearings due to the transfer case... therefore recieves less off centre loads.... internally identical to GTST... i mix and match parts a bit. R34 GTR is getrag totally different. R34 GTT same as r33 only has a few niceties inside but no stronger.
  15. if you buy r34 transfer aswell yes. cheaper to fit quaife 6sp to 33 box though.
  16. imagine how good the car would handle with something decent......
  17. I usually use TOYO's but customers specified these. Just want to find out others experiences, these things stick pretty well but on two of my high hp customer cars 270+rwkw we are experiencing tearing any one else finding the same?
  18. what size wastegate? blitz DSBC are the BEST performing controllers on the market and always hold flat curves unless there is another issue like too small a gate etc.
  19. boxes are the same. Bellhousing is the only diff push and pull type.... easily swapped in 15mins. R32 and R33 transfers bolt on to both models... R34 does not (getrag has differrent output shaft)
  20. fix pump, fpr is 9 times out of ten fine. Dont go aftermarket unless you have too.
  21. might be worth a call to greg axiosis at autobarn, big expansion going on now they bought national parts and auto pro etc 03 88781111 is reception number worth a shot.
  22. a clutch kick is used to get wheels spinning... ie accel and then dip or 'kick' the clutch whilst still holding accel. used alot in drifting etc.
  23. i went through this when we released the DRIFT brand of carbon wings through autobarn stores... we got approval by having endplate which were over 15mm thick (rounded edges) and did not protrude further than the extremities of the car. here is an example of an approval install.
