  1. ooh and since your not the original owner there is 100% no chance of claiming.... all warraties whether impied or given are are to the original purchaser.
  2. Wrong! performance motors have no warranty.... we used to offer warranty with ours but its not the norm.
  3. i have to agree. We had a tuner come over from the states to tune a few local euro cars and was used to dyno jets and could not match the power on my dyno he was averaging 10-15% less across all the cars.
  4. haha try getting a refund on a garret with the same issue..... zero... seen the same thing... always an excuse from the manufacturer..
  5. exactly, just got a full set for my nugget from tuff car parts for a killer price.
  6. go the 10cm, i have a 8cm vs 10cm graph posted somewhere.
  7. yes the are crap, we wont nistune the A31 and C33 ecu's... we replace them with r32 ecus (plug str8 in) All the c33 and a31 ecu require a type 1 board not the type 2 nistune board that the r32 ecus take. The r32 ecu are farmore modern and take to tuning fa better. i have a C33 myself.
  8. i concur dont do it. Ive done back to back test on the dyno and the gain is so minimal you will never feel it and your lap times wont change an iota.
  9. Seriously, waterfall ftw next drink ever.....flames and shit then in hale the alcohol fumes after... Cart driving of course h as hahahaha.

  10. WTB RB starter motor. need asap

  11. not at all, we did brents car way back i thik when we sold cammtech cams (great cams too btw) and i spent hours getting the cam timing to the point it lost very little.... BUT i can tell you now if i do one run with it on and one run off on the dyno the differrence can be huge. (more power and torque).. just ask tao, we have is car in every fortnight and one night were chasing a 500rpm lag issue between tunes and it turned out the vtc plug had vibrated off. Every tune we do that has vtc get a run with it off and run with on constantly (but not a full pull to redline when on constantly) the intersection point is easily discernable.... in power and torque terms that is.
  12. anyone got some 280 rb20 cams handy?

  13. VCT is worth alot and TBH we have used a lower ramp on ARTZ car to save the clutch so it actually could come on sooner. You will also notice the housing on artz l2 falls over hard over 6300rpm too, we have done a couple lately and this size housing is not real happy with the extra 500cc and 300rwkw is about the limit we have found safely before exhaust pressures and egts get scary..
  14. Bugger, another road trip planned in a fortnight to pick up cats new toy.... beresfield here we come..

  15. Need factory rb20 ecu R32, no laurel or cefiro ones please.

  16. Heading for beresfield and newcastle what to do there? Any suggestions?

  17. Pump e85, just as good as any v8 super brew... been there tested all that jazz. To put an end to all the hub dyno bullshit we run our dyno on the latest SAE correction some other operators run the older US spec din figures which inflates power. On two occasions within 3rwkw of the mainline @ drdrifts (same day) and on average a little less than the racepace dyno (not done back to back but car was suplied with current sheets to compare too)... close to chasers as well.
  18. results were done with the comp tables turned off. 4kw loss on E70 was the result of fatter mixtures. (with comp it stretched to 7rwkw) I know the exact change in lambda between e70 and e85 as i get to see it multipes times a week. Put simply If you tune a car on E85 correctley and then fill with e70 it will get safer (provided you have not screwed the timing table way to far on 85) there is a small difference in timing requirements but the average tune done by myself has this compensated for even in non eflex situations. All my e85 tunes are just as safe on e70 regardless of if they run eflex sensors or not.
  19. sounds like a wiring issue as the injectors wont leak unless they are opened via ecu. what ecu?
  20. I just did a huge test (2nd round of independant tests) on a 420rwkw gtr (autronic eflex setup) last weekend and can tell you now that all the brands ended up with a big fat DRAW. testing showed united and caltex to be on par and about 4kw down when at e70 compared to e85 on a safe normal customer tune so you wont notice any difference, yes the af changes between e85 and e70 as we all know but it is manageable and the 4kw difference shows the amount of change. Tuned hard beyond the "normal" customer tune we found the 3 types of fuel to be on par and we got to the same peak power give or take 3-4rwkw which is probably more heat related than fuel related. Graphs attached are the final 20psi results with -5's on bp98 and e85 and with the old garret supplied preloaded gates... which needed to be RE TENSIONED... bastards.
  21. there is a difference between working and optimum and thats far from optimium, we tested that with the kando and it was still down on power compared to swapping out the rear housing for a proper ex gate item.
  22. only the puppets... been a trust / blitz apexi guy from way back... it only takes a few trips to real jap shops to see the creme de la creme. Every drift car in aus with a genuine l2 on it came one way or another from me as did the rx6 kits. now there is cheaper options it all makes perfect sense but 3 years back when we were using the ebay gear direct we copped alot of flack... many dealers got the shits as we were selling the turbos for less (1100 back then) and making less margin than the garrett equivs but got the results. With me its never about the money (profit)... its about the result. Cats turbo was 2500 alone but its what i wanted and it gave the results.
  23. need a rb20 PFC who has one for sale?

  24. pick up the laurel friday.... which to order.... Head says: TD06SL2-20G T3 8cm nether region says: TD06H-25G 12cm with a 50 shot.
