  1. Nah new shop is nearly finished.
  2. yeah 50% gain sounds fantastic, offer stands if you want an independent run... keeps the roller vs hub haters at bay
  3. haven't had the need to dig the scope out for awhile tbh.
  4. Happy to run it up one day for free, i remmeber we did one or two runs to check it over for Tyson but i thought it was closer to 290, will check tommorrow.Found it, made 292 so 10rwkw more than avo dyno.
  5. E1280s from adaptronic.... but you have to deal with the software which personally sucks a little life everytime we do one
  6. TBH looking from outside the dealer perspective i can yes v500 and v550 do do a good job, better than the rest? well beauty is in the eye of the beholder. on a lighter note as shit got way to serious.. our new acquisition is a v4... so im sure we both agree its an anchor
  7. Point is generally they dont.R34 nistunes are hell stable, get your ecu back to Pete / Matt @ nistune they can bench test allot of the ecus. i have a 360rwkw auto R34 in at the moment and i have only just started coming into a few issues, we are just coming into issues with the big plenum and e85... not enough accel pump adjustments to overcome a lean stumble onto stall etc but its at the extreme end of the remap scale. Was fine with std intake.
  8. Personally i would not do it as the stock ones are prone to cracking but Stealth is a major drawcard for power porting though. Will be good to see the results either way. Even better to see you got the guys to sort out your car Tyson.
  9. Anything can be tuned and we have no issues tuning them, i could sit here and post a million fast cars with any ecu on the market, microtech would kill wolf if that was the premise on choosing an ecu but its not... There is no pissing contest, i don't have to defend any particular brand of ecu.... the car i bought is neither from you or involved with with your business. We get asked all the time to sign up to particular brands but we prefer to use the best ecu for the job,to be objective this requires us not to be tied to any particular brand.... objectivity will always be the backbone of our business..... its what allows us to remain a tune only business.
  10. Agreed the autronic is in another league. I love them, did a 400+rwkw flex fuel setup with one not long back and it was a little light on axis points in the flex table but it did the job fantastically.
  11. no need, the setup procedure is very simple and has been designed so a 7 year old could do it...
  12. haha just bought a car with a wolf from newcastle.... im gonna have a ecu piss on and burn party soon
  13. then buy something decent like a link...Must admit though the AEM v2 is one of the best ecu's worldwide.. tuned about 6 or 7 now and love them....
  14. too much gain not enough set or the boost cut on the sbc was set too low.
  15. stick with the 8cm like roy and i mentioned. Roy's explanantion is on the money.
  16. only used them as a suplimentary pump from boot mounted radiator (2 rads one front one rear)
  17. i know peter very well, legend. If he wants to talk about it when he has car on dyno let him know he can call me anytime 24/7. 8cm will do it, 10cm will do it easier and lower boost (about 18)i prefer the 8cm. The internal ones are plain JUNK.
  18. We are in the final stages of testing a dash mounted KNOCK monitor for a company, i will post up all the results once we are satisfied... at this point im wrapped with the results and hope to be finished in a week or two from now. Pricing will place it sub $150 and will suit ALL cars (tested on 12 differrent engines so far). This is a consumer product primarily (fit and forget in your car) but could be used for tuning (i still recomend knockbox or kmon for serious tuners as you can use headphones) if wired externally as its a stand alone system and only needs power and earth from the car. I should add it has 0-5v output too ive got it as a logged input on my dyno atm. So any aftermarket ecu can have it as input to trim timing.
  19. Will answer your email tonight sorry ive been under the pump. Is this enough for now? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/344581-a-must-read-for-budding-tuners-or-those-interested-in-knock/page__view__findpost__p__5553569
  20. UNITED TOOLS IN DANDEDNONG.... worst service in history of retail shops... way to lazy to come around and serve...didnt want to help us buy anything and did not want to give advice.. went to bunnings spent $400.... talk with your feet.

  21. http://trust-power.c...1103/index.html
  22. tractive effort not torque.
  23. use a der-15702 sandwich plate which has inbuilt thermostat ( $92+ )
  24. $299 for the kit http://goodiesdirect...&product_id=500 or core only $69 http://goodiesdirect.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&path=81_85&product_id=507 Been using these cores in our cars for about 4 - 5 years no worries.
