  1. i did a bit of research on mine before i bought it, and it seemed a few other members had already got some off this guy, and were happy with them.... so i took the plunge, and i was happy with it too... mind you, thats not to say every dump pipe or every front pipe on ebay is going to be of the same quality...
  2. I think the idea has both merits and drawbacks... The merits would be that sponsors get to advertise their products, and we get an awesome car to drive The drawbacks would be, as has already been mentioned, bitching over whats done to the car, who drives it, what its built for, who pays for what etc etc... however, i do like the idea, and i do think its possible, we just have to sit down and have a bit of a brainstorm as to what we can do etc etc...
  3. I bought my dump pipe/front pipe combo (all 1 piece) from a seller off ebay (though i didn't buy through ebay, but direct off the guy) and it was fine.. it was a "Flying Performance" one... don't know if the guy is still around or not, haven't seen them advertised for a while.
  4. Was that you behind me this morning on Fairfield road or whatever it is? (Up near boggo road) i was in the White R32 with plates [sIR32]?
  5. i have the solution to all of your problems... i have an Autometer Boost Guage here, that reads in PSI instead of BAR, that i am happy to let you have in exchange for your Blitz guage... then it kills 2 birds with 1 stone! (I want one in BAR, and you want one you can read in PSI)
  6. nobody knows yet
  7. spotted 6 skylines or their owners last night at mushrooms!
  8. I have a set here in Brisbane, with tyres... good tread on the tyres... i'd be looking for around $350 for them... not quite sure if i want to part with them yet, or use them for my track rims
  9. seen it a few times now.... Custom resprayed orange R33 around the Kallangur area, with a young female driving
  10. congrats guys! wish you all the best in the future!
  11. Yes, they'll fit (they're about the widest tire you can 'safely/legally' go to on a 6.5" wide rim) HOWEVER you're much better off going for a 205/55/16 tyre, as the sidewalls will be stronger/stiffer, and you won't get that "Mushy" feeling (as mentioned in a previous post).. what that is is when the sidewall of the tyre is actually moving from side-to-side and distorting... so while the tyre may be in full contact with the road and have complete traction, you are still getting a sway in the tyre from the sidewall moving around... However, this doesn't really apply if you're putting 225/50/16 R-Compound semi-slicks or slicks on the rims, as most semi-slicks and slicks have a highly reinforced sidewall to cope with the extreme forces placed on them in high-speed cornering etc!
  12. do you do cams approved cages?
  13. Is this close enough to 170kw for you? mods to get there are: Flying Performance 3" Front/Dump Pipe 3" High-Flow Cat 3" Kakimoto Catback Exhaust K&N Pod Filter Custom Heat Shield RB25 Turbo with RB20 Actuator (increases base boost by around 3psi) R34 GTT Sidemount Intercooler with Custom Piping D2 Fuel Pressure Regulator Walbro 255 Litre/Hour Fuel Pump Turbotech Boost Controller set at 11.5psi ECU Tuned by Dr_Drift
  14. KCF Rallysport, and Leda Suspensions... both at Brendale on the northside... KCF does all that sort of stuff every day Leda Suspensions do chromoly cages etc to cams specs for stuff like Targa etc
  15. saw a girl driving a de-winged black R33 GTST with a primer-grey front bar about 15 minutes ago on Dohles Rocks Road at Murrumba Downs
  16. sure, you could buy a lightly modified GTR for sub 20k, but its going to be a piece of crap, no 2 ways about it Like someone said... you're looking at 25 - 30k for a 'decent' 32 GTR... and thats for a stock one!
  17. well, i went against the grain of everyone here has said, and modified my GTS-t... while it still wouldn't be QUITE as fast as a GTR in a straight line, (there would only be a bees dick in it)... i would eat a (stock) GTR in the handling department what you have to remember is, you can have a modified GTS-t for the same price as you can have a stock GTR... however, that GTR isn't going to have the new suspension, or the new brakes, or the new fuel pump or new turbo etc etc, and you're going to end up having to spend money on the GTR anyway if you want it to be anything above "Modified GTS-t" standard... just some food for thought from the other side of the ballpark
  18. Ah, gotta love government... in other words, they are just following the motions that they have to, with no intention of ever doing anything with the submissions :@
  19. Sounds like me (how you described the 16" crowd, lol) Thanks for the help anyway Beer Baron
  20. Well, being the tightarse that i am and not being able to afford a brand new set of semi slicks/slicks, i'm looking around for a 2nd hand set to run at sprint days etc this year. I was wondering if anyone knew of any people/places to speak to (Preferably in Brisbane, though its not THAT critical) that may have some that they're willing to part with for reasonable prices, as i don't have a huge budget to play with? Sizes i'm looking for are around the 205/55/16 sort of area (for a 6.5" wide rim, so slightly smaller or larger is okay as well) Thanks in Advance Jason
  21. Interested in a set of Slotted DBA 4000's for an R32 in a few weeks time, please PM me if they are still available!
  22. btw, i still have that AE86 diff housing/rear brakes here if you need them
  23. that looks great simon... definately a step up since the last time i saw you before you left Brisbane, when you still had Nicks old AE86! ALMOST making me want a cefiro!
  24. Hi All, Looking for some 2nd Hand 16" Semi Slicks or Slicks in 205/55/16 to 225/55/16 to use for sprint days, so they don't have to have a great deal of life left in them... If you have some, or know of someone with some, please, let me know Thanks Jason
