  1. You have PM, Dan
  2. or me!
  3. daveo, i'll happily meet you at QR in winter to show you what a 'fairly' stock R32 will eat your cefiro
  4. predator http://www.project32.net
  5. okay, i will
  6. yeah, i realised that after i posted it (i'm bloody tired at the moment) hence me editing my post, but u were too quick, lol
  7. yes, i believe it will probably be a SARD or Nismo FPR i use...
  8. i'll let you all know how tuning a standard R32 GTS-t ECU goes in a few weeks... The mods to my car (R32 GTS-t) are (or will be) Bosch 044 Fuel Pump SARD FPR 3" Turbo Back Exhaust Pod Filter RB25 Turbo R34 GTT Intercooler TurboTech Boost Controller I'll be getting Sam (DrDrift) to tune it when he comes up to Brisbane towards the end of January... I was told the price will be ~$300 for the chip/tune and then whatever the dyno time comes to... Apparently how he does it is he has a tune done up to suit these parameters fairly closely beforehand, and then tweaks it to suit the individual car on the dyno.... He said usually about an Hour on the dyno... so it seems like a fairly cheep option...
  9. borrowed an oil pressure guage (its all they had) from Option1, and they plumbed it in and told me to drive around the block and watch the guage... And yes, as the revs rose, the fuel pressure dropped down.... i'm thinking i'll just change the pump and regulator and the filter while i'm there too, and that should net me the sort of power i'm chasing (after i get sam to tune it when he comes up)
  10. mine have this same problem... you can get the calipers rebuilt... i don't believe its an overly expensive exercise... there's a few threads on here about it actually... have a bit of a search Jason
  11. Simon, There's a fair few threads on this kicking around these forums... some fairly recent ones as well... i think i saw one in the Forced Induction and Performance section a week or 2 ago... might be worth having a bit of a search. Jason
  12. when'd you do that daveo? you didn't have that at the skidpan, did you? or am i just losing my memory with my old age?
  13. i'll need a FPR anyway, as i'm chasing around 200rwkw, and i'll either need an FPR, or an injector upgrade... FPR is cheaper option at the moment
  14. yeah, i'll have to get mine too... been partying on in a penthouse on the goldcoast for the last week.... so err.... i haven't really had time (or been sober enough) to get my copy...
  15. thanks for that guys, i checked fuel pressure on wednesday afternoon, and found that at idle it was running around 2.5bar, and at normal driving it was running roughly 3bar... as soon as any throttle was given, it was dropping off to around 2.25 - 2.5bar.... looks like a new fuel pump and FPR is the way to go!
  16. thanks for that guys, i checked fuel pressure on wednesday last week (have been on the coast since wednesday night) and found that at idle it was running around 2.5bar, and at normal driving it was running roughly 3bar... as soon as any throttle was given, it was dropping off to around 2.25 - 2.5bar.... looks like a new fuel pump and FPR is the way to go!
  17. i was thinking it might be the fuel pump... but if it was that, it would start out rich, and lean out as the revs rose, not stay a constant 14.8:1 from as soon as you touch the throttle, all the way through... wouldn't it?
  18. okay, anyone else got any more ideas? nobodys still been able to figure this out, and i'm about ready to just burn the piece of shit... Elite 32 came around (thanks mate) and we swapped the O2 sensor for a good one, and everything seemed to be okay.... for a bit.... We put the new sensor in and took it for a drive, and on my handcontroller we could see that it was coming out of closed loop mode (cycling between rich and lean at low load) and then going constantly rich when i stood on it... all sounds fine! i then took it for a drive by myself, and it was still cycling between lean and rich at light load, but then when i stood on it it would go constantly lean....

I also spoke to a workshop (can't remember which one though, as i've called that many trying to get this resolved) and they basically called me an idiot when i asked them if there was anything like a neutral/clutch switch....
  20. hehe, depends what sorta condition its in also... i put the RB20 actuator from mine onto the RB25 turbo, and its still only making 9psi (was making 11psi on the RB20 turbo). But yes, bolts straight on... looks like you got the elbow with it too, which is essential, as the outlet elbows are different between the two turbos.. i can't really see in that pic, does it have a 3mm 'groove' in front of the compressor blades?
  21. in my R32, my headlight switch actually melted in the 'on' position after driving around with high beams on for a while (highway at night).... i could turn the switch back to off, but the headlights stayed on... i think it was around $30 for a new switch from the wreckers... Dunno if that would be your problem, but it could be something to look at... oh, and it should be easy enough to do by yourself (i know mine was)
  22. Hey mate, its actually my little brothers car, and he's selling this to look for something a little more economical, and i'm pushing him to get something FWD and slow/boring (Integra or FTO or something)... And his new car is going to be in the sub 14k bracket, so i'd say the GTR is out... thanks though
  23. well, i just upgraded my stock SMIC to one from an R34 GTT... roughly 30% bigger than standard (if not more), and i'm looking at putting up to 200rwkw through it.... they're more than up to the task of 10psi and a catback
  24. I ated the purple berries! "What do they taste like Ralph?" They taste like burning
  25. Merry Christmas to all, and have a happy and safe new year... Hope santa brings you all lots of skyline goodies
