I'm at work and about to go so I haven't read the thread but here goes.. To answer your questions: The points are taken the day you pay your fine (i.e. the day your money is received). Next.. my 2c.. a. Your gf is a tard for not noticing signs, that's just silly so I hope she's pretty b. Pay the fine of the offence that carries the most possible points without going over the number of demerit points she has on her license. In this case if any of them are 2 points pay that one. If not move to next point. c. Ignore the first letter of warning of the remaining fines. In the meantime she needs to do what she can to get her full license. If she starts to run out of time, just elect to have the matter heard in court. This will take another month or two to get a date. If she hasn't received her full license by then she needs to write to the court clerk to reschedule the date, cite something important like family difficulties or weddings (I cited a HSC exam at the time) and they will reschedule it for you.. That'll be another month or 2. d. Now that she has a full license and a couple of outstanding fines, either go to court (because of the court election) and get her to wear a suit etc and make sure she cries and looks scared. Will probably get the same thing as before, pay an extra $64 court fee and get her points taken from her full license. Then she has to behave. PM me if you need more info or this doesn't make sense and I'll give you my phone number. Good luck!

1jz Into A31 Cefiro? Would You?
someonestolecc replied to S13Deviat's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Shit yeah goin good Ando. Did it turn out to be a NEO engine? -
Easy to do - instructions in the kits are easy to follow. Also if you have a general knowledge of how wires carrying electricity work you should be ok
-
Thanks Roy and Duncan. So that means you're allowed to drive with the race/rally rego plate the RTA would give you.. otherwise that plate is "on" but it's not registered? So.. that means the 3rd party I would have to pay for the same as a normal car? That's bodgy
-
Ahh thanks for that Roy. So you have to ask CAMS to drive everytime to an event or do you just go there and if you get stopped it comes out in the wash then?
-
Nice. I could have used one of those..
-
Welcome to SAU... phat car.
-
D'oh. The door closed but I heard a window open
-
Damnit Roy that ebay link that car looks nice. No idea how I'd drive it on the road without a trailer though - is that the sort of thing you could get UVP then race/rally rego for? Just out of interest if I was to import a silvia with a cams 3 license for race/rally import.. Could I then register it with race/rally rego or does race/rally import mean it will NEVER EVER get any sort of rego?

Looks like a pod filter, silicone hose and I'm guessing an electronic BOV. .. SICKKKK BRO..... lol racsov500 ... The dude in your signature picture owns 3.. TRIPLE FILTERS BRO.. SIKK I love the quasi credibility on there. Like the quasi-tuning theory, the quasi-dyno graph, it's all voodoo.. gotta love it. .. I also like the part where it says will not ship to canada blah blah and blah. I'm thinking to myself probably from out standing court cases. Also people are buying it checkout his feedback.. this guy couldnt afford the stage 3 he had to go the stage 2.. only revs to 37,500rpm - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=8048768324 idiots. I couldn't NOT do it. I reported this guy to ebay.. However in writing my letter I noticed this guy doesn't lie anywhere in the post. But he's still misleading people.

...then put a rotor in it and try to take a corner at 30kmh... brap brap brap...crash ..crumple..hospital.. beep .. beep.. beep... beep. LOL Sorry not taking the piss out of your post but I've seen so many people make "full sick" street cars out of old sardine cans with stupid powerful rotors.... I don't know about putting nuts and washers in etc. I realise you need to fill it but if the ke is a stock engine spinning up 30kg of nuts and washers everytime you put your foot down is gonna make that thing SLOW as, and it probably won't break 5kg of weld stuff...

Stupid question. Has anyone imported any ex J-chasers? I'd love to get a r34 on the 15 year rule later in life that was an ex chaser. Imagine being able to get one that looked exactly like that and use it for drift or something.. lights and all ... heh

What Car Will You Buy Next?
someonestolecc replied to Smurf's topic in General Automotive Discussion
One day .. maybe in like 5 years my next car will (hopefully) be a s14 that I can whack a 180 front on.. big wide bodykit.. roll cage.. etc mmm track car. But if you want to keep your import but have a 'legit' car why not just get a s14 or s15? A lot of business type people own those (... and don't DRIVE them). P.S. I should also suggest that if you're a high profile employee who can actually make it a talking point and turn it to your advantage etc then it's actually a good thing to be able to have something that stands out. I see people in 200's and other German ford-laser level cars (318's etc) and it seems to be very very common.. For example I'm in a consultancy role at a major and stiff financial company... Whenever I get the chance to go to things in the cefiro I do, it presents like a piece of shit compared to the other cars there and it's not like these people think it's PHAT because it has dish, a kit and induction noise etc, nor do they care how it handles, drifts or goes... But they remember me and the car and think "ahh that bloke likes to modify cars".. That gets me into their consciousness, then it's up to my skill and competency (and bullshit skills) to sell and build credibility.. Other people use other ways to be noticed, like they fit in, work hard and hope they're noticed that way... *shrug* horses for courses mate but either way good luck -
Harsh Induction Noise At Around 5,000rpm
someonestolecc replied to munchstagea's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Vacuum leak from the cooler - check intercooler hoses/pipes? Small hole in the air box? (yes people drill little holes to make the induction noise) - easy way to test would be remove the lid. I assume that would leave the filter. Something to do with the cams in lift mode? (if this is a neo and if neos have variable cam timing lift stuff??) - not sure about this one. Muffler somewhere along the zorst got a small hole - stick your head on the ground and get someone to rev. Also - it might be something simple like the exhaust manifold gasket or something - too_much_boost suggested to me once to use a hose. I think it's a common technique so stick one side where you suspect the leak is and the other near your ear... Don't do it too close to your ear or you'll blow it off. Hope that helps and that it's nothing major.. pretty simple suggestions but those are the ones I'd be checking in the first instance. good luck. -
haha nice burnout

Exhaust On A 351 V8.. Gonna Diy
someonestolecc replied to someonestolecc's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Thanks mate that's a good tip. Where are you getting them from? Why do you need a balance section? The system will be a full stainless because of the LPG... (mild will rust cos of the water) -
Hello, I know it's a skylines forum but there are plenty of on the ball people here and exhaust theory isn't too car specific. My girlfriend's dad is going to replace his exhaust on his ford. It's a 351 LPG thing and he's already got extractors. Full stainless systems were being quotes over $1000 so he's decided to do it himself. Does anyone recommend any types of mufflers? I reckon if it's cheap enough it's not worth making your own muffler but better off just whacking one or two in when making your exhaust. The aim is to shut it up without restricting flow too much and still providing a meaty 351 tone. Anyone got any advice? I'm thinkin something like straight pipe dual system with a couple of hot dogs put in... a bit loud?

Yo Ando. When I was putting mine in the wiring turned out to be (for the purposes of the alarm) exactly like the r32 one. I also got a couple of tricks for ya. I'll give ya a ring about these though

someonestolecc replied to 123456's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Not referring to you but it just made me think of something funny heh in pimp my ride I remember once they did a A pillar dual gauge install and it was on a typical piece of shit car so they used a mini tacho and a clock.. an actual clock. LOL
