FMIC = Get a Calsonic made GTR. Good for about 250rwkw - probably less lag and better response than anything else for the price. Just get it cleaned up and flow tested etc if you're worried. $300-400 for the cooler. HU = get a cheapie ebay unit. it's overseas model sure but you'll save a few hundred and it'll work just the same. Just make sure the radio frequency is tuned ok. You have $2.5k left. Buy a whole stash of weed, coke and some whores.

Probably not. You're probably after the commodore VL turbo (VLT) motor. RB30ET I think. Some people get the NA RB20E and whack a manifold and turbo on and run some boost as well. Or are you talkin bout the DOHC RB30DET hybrid people put together?

search. - you should drive your car slower toward the end of the drive so you dont need a turbo timer. If you need it to get you over the line I'd do 30 seconds min. 5 mins if you've been on the track.

Don't mind it but essentially it's my, or anyone elses car here, except it's new. They need to throw some more money at it if they intend to drift it for real

I would never consider anything other than waiting on the forums for a good Japanese cat back. Make sure it ain't dented, then just wash the crap out of the inside (acid wash etc) then fit it on. No problem and verifiable quality and sound (if you can find someone else with it). I have a full custom jobbie - noname stainless steel (looks good tho), 3" dump, hi flow cat, high flow hot dog resonator, trust round muffler to 4" tip. Sounds good and tougher than the cannon that was there previous (and no drone now too). My advice is if you go cannon get a bigger centre muffler that flows heaps, I mean get a REALLY big one to take the bark out. If you want a really really quiet exhaust get a kakimoto .. I love those things and they sound absolutely AWESOME with rbs. That's what I'd be getting if I had a RB and wanted to keep it quiet but still sound tough.

It wasn't glary or blinding was it? (Hope not, I've been rolling around with that setting for ages and when I looked at it to test it was only blinding if you were about 2m from the car and below the headlights (looking up at the them)). Woot next time ya see me lets go for a cruise!!!!

Take it to the police and hound them. If the guy has a pattern of doing this there will be a trail of commonality that his clients are the ones losing cars. If one or two people have mentioned this to the police it should all match up on the system. Keep hounding the police.

Dealers suck. Support the scene that supports you and buy from the forums. Just remember to get a mechanic to check out the car if you don't know about cars. Compression and leak down tests etc
