  1. Just remember if the car is high performance/turbo/supercharger then it's banned even i it's not on the list.. so a '89 GTST will still be banned. Best/easiest bet is a r33 whale NA
  2. http://www.initialdrift.com.au/forums/view...der=asc&start=0 Anyone going?
  3. As some of you guys know I purchased my cefiro with the intention of drifting it. A year+ later I still hadn't got it 100% where I would have liked it to be. IMO it's still missing some gauges and an oil cooler (which I sold when I decided to sell the car). A couple of days ago I took a deposit and it will be sold within 10 days or so... Cut a long story short this Saturday will be my first and last time drifting the cefiro on the track. SO WHO'S COMING TO REPRESENT CEFIRO POWER? http://www.initialdrift.com.au/forums/viewtopic.php?p=61102 Post up! (basketcase im especially looking in your direction)
  4. When you get it done can you please do a short document or post it up here and I'll publish it on cefiroz? Seems to be a common question.
  5. Good stuff. Tell ya what after the drama I went through I was scared the day it went into limp mode. I can see how it only applies for s13 era SR20's only - I didn't even clue.. for some reason I think everyone else has a sr20 cefiro. Thanks for posting up!
  6. Spotted CUT-OOL kitted whale and AMU-81H black whale. Warringah Road this morning.
  7. As with all dr drift chips make sure the chip is stuck into the daughterboard by wedging something behind it (like a cutout rubber hose or something) so it doesn't fall out and send your car into limp mode.
  8. ROFL That's funny as. A few of the ns.com mods I've seen have SERIOUS power structure issues. Probably fat chicks and pimply faced goons without authority anywhere else.
  9. I wonder if the autosalon competitors will take off their chromies and wear car bras around the track .. lol
  10. Yeah it's a bit stupid people but unfortunately people who know less about cars go by the age old thing of checking the km's. I think it's probably inherited from the last generation of non-car oriented people. mmmm 34...
  11. HOT4's, fast n the furious and the people that own cars as penis extensions (the-look-at-me idiots) all want a figure or power to be better than the next guy. It's just keeping up with the jones' syndrome. I think that's true for about 90% of people who think of peak figure as what they want out of the car. The remaining 10% are those who say for example, compete and they've set the peak figure as as an aim. Likewise are people who just want to get to a round number. For example I've always wanted to crack 200 because it's a round number - these days it doesn't matter to me anymore the car is fast enough and that's what counts.. the figure is, afterall quite arbitrary (I've had from 180-198rwkw peak on different dynos).. the real enjoyment is the delivery and response. I drive my car for me not for the idiots who yell out how much kw is it, how many psi its running or does it smoke it up.
  12. Some people say the best of both worlds are PU on top and solid on the bottom. Means it ends up tight but the NVH isn't transmitted to the car as much. I got my PU pineapples for $40 I think. Not that much in order to preserve some semblence of aural quality. Good on ya for the article. If you want to just get the pics and send them to me seperately and just write the article in a PM or something I'll be happy to format it and put it up on cefiroz.. Good on ya!
  13. If it's still running in 10 years when I'm a fat rich guy like you guys I'll be up in my R34 GTR in the "Classic cars" category. :| Good luck to everyone who's in it - be safe and take pics
  14. Damnit I've seen an exact thread asking this either on SAU or ns and I can't remember what it was. Heh. found it - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=100073
  15. Been covered before I think they're not autostyle headlights there's a company in Japan that makes them. Also they're not very streetable because the globe is exposed so if it rains or something it's not very good for it. Can't remember who the original maker is. Funkymonkey should know.
  16. That chick is hot. More pics
  17. I wouldn't think you would get any gains from a RB30E with cold air induction. There is a CAI thread in the tutorial section. The theory applies for all cars. You should be able to figure out how to close off your air box and route a pipe to it from the front of the car
  18. Any chance a stagea could tow 3T?
  19. I've seen and been in this car. It's pretty damn clean. Bargain price for a car just to drive around as a daily commuter or to build up into track/drift weapon. CEFIRO POWAH!
  20. Good one.. will tune into this thread.. PICS PLEASE. P.S. Can you please buy me some pietro? I got 3 bottles last week and i'm already down to 1.2 bottles :\
  21. I'll man the stands and look down at the car sla.. err i mean 'models'.
  22. Post it up and I'll check it later. Seems to be raining.. i have no petrol... hmm.. ..... .. hmm...
  23. Heed this advice. S-Kid has said this before and predicted that on a road car the spherical bushes would start knocking. I thought "I don't mind"... Funnily enough he was right within 2-3k km. Mine started knocking and I've greased them up since and they're ok now.. I still don't mind but I imagine I'll have to keep greasing them every few thousand k's.
  24. For anyone else looking at this thread this is right on the money. Same for the cefiro.
