Drifting Stock Engined Cefiro?
someonestolecc replied to 32drifter's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Stock rb20 in the cefiro would probably be your SAFEST bet. Just wind the boost to say 10psi and go for a dyno run to make sure it isn't r+r'ing or running lean. Shhh.. tell noone. -
I'd like to see more pics.. that just looks like a beamer to me

That's twice I've spotted you man! A few pages back I spotted you at the mechanics!. Your car was on the hoist when I dropped my car off. 28th of Dec I spotted you going past crown of the hill (theos liquor) right after the Roseville Bridge. Was driving my white family car. If you're around north shore/northern beaches area and goin for a cruise lemme know .. Love to see that car on the road again -

Whats Needed To Get Into Drift
someonestolecc replied to BEN 0's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
1- Just to add you won't need a cams license if you're just practicing at private track days like Fatz or something like that, although it's generally a good idea. 2- Similarly you don't absolutely need to be a member of a club (atleast not the first few times you go out drifting) but I think it's generally a good idea to support the scene that supports you. As I said it's generally a good idea to get a cams license and to get a cams license you need to be in a club that is affiliated with cams. SAU is cams affiliated and cheap - cheapest club in NSW that is cams affiliated as far as I know. To get started I'd say you need a FR car that you can give the beans. I'd question if you really need a pod though 5- Car mods with absolute minimal money IMO - suspension bits - diff - oil cooler - get rid of hicas Then - exhaust - replacement air filter - boost controller + front mount (if turbo) - The list above by Nathan is pretty much where you'd want to be to start at a semi pro level (imo). If you've never done it before you could gradually build it up. Be mindful that's not even talking about power mods. You also need a helmet. -

Hey Guys, I Would Love Your Input On My Setup
someonestolecc replied to LatinR33's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Oopps I meant to say <200rwkw comfortably. Whatever you guys know what I'm talkin bout -
I'm using xtreme 9 puk. I'd buy it again. Organic = weak if you're running 200rwkw IMO.. plus heat = no take up. Organic is what people should use in a STOCK car. If you're running extra boost I would suggest atleast a setup similar to the xtreme 9 puk with 860kg pressure plate. Cubes runs the same clutch with 1100kg pressure plate with his rb30 and he's only said good things. I wouldn't bother with a brass button as it's old school. Just get a sprung centre with 9 or 6 puks (the less puks the harder the pickup will be) and you'll be right. Having said that a lot of people will say using a brass button you'll get used to it - which is true, but why make it hard for yourself when you don't need to?

That's bizarre. Fancy the same plate coming out of the registry (close to where your car was initially registered) AND given to some other skyline, which happens to be white, which is owned by a p plater. *boggle* Spotted SNG ... this car f**king owns - 32 GTR. -
It won't actually fix the problem however.

A lot of people even say you don't need a FMIC with a stock turbo, even if you're boosting it. 12psi seems to be accepted as the maximum "safe" day to day boost on a stock turbo. Running on 12psi with a stock turbo some people have said their charge air is fine with the side mount cooler. I wouldn't do it but that's just me... a GTR cooler is cheap insurance. 3" exhaust from the turbo back, a frontmount will let you use the most out of the stock turbo. On a rb25 it should see 200rwkw comfortably I believe - which is enough for now if the car is still new to you. The replacement filter will just make it whoosh more. If you're using a stock for stock replacement filter then you won't have to do anything else. If you're going to go for a pod filter then make sure you put it inside a box or a partition so it doesn't suck up hot air. And if you use either - don't use an oiled element. Good luck. -
Abs Light Lit Constantly - R33 S2
someonestolecc replied to Primordial's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
This may be something too simple but you guys should check you have enough brake fluid and no air bubbles. I believe no ABS can come on if you don't have enough brake fluid. -

Ouch. I would NOT pay a. for american gauges b. that much. Greddy electrical gauges go for 180-200 second hand on the forums. Funnily I have a water one ready to go (black face) if anyone wants (shameless plug).
