ECU - power fc from the web and tune from unigroup or chip and tune from unigroup. Yavuz is the only dyno/tuner guy I've seen who's ever looked like he cares for the car getting tuned/on the dyno. Intercooler - Recommend a GTR cooler for anything up to 250rwkw. Find it on the forums or buy a new one on the web, I wouldn't bother with the rubbish being sold at places like justjap. Dump pipe - BATMBL on these forums will do you a good deal, just PM him he runs bosimporting.com.au and has dumppipes out the ass. Boost controller - wait for a good second hand one on forums or buy a new one from a place like nengun. I recommend a blitz dual solenoid, either the current model or the model back. BOV - if you really want one just buy one second hand off the forums, give it a clean and a lube and away you go. You may need some fabrication work for the adaptor but people sometimes sell these together. I have a professor sheepdog bov for sale if you want (pm me). Good luck.

Good shit everyone that sounds like I'm not the only one, which isn't a good thing but atleast you all know how it feels heh heh Well I got my car back yesterday and DAaaamMNnnnn it idles, goes and pulls SO much f**king better now. It's crazy just how much better it feels.. amazing, and I haven't even taken it past 4000rpm, it feels on boost earlier and all that sort of stuff fuark. I still have a metal rattle somewhere in the exhaust that isn't serious but I need to find it, I spent an hour or two taking the cat off yesterday to have a look inside but there was nothing lose in it so I'm back to square one. too_much you feel like doing some freelance work ??

The Definitive Guide To Pronunciation
someonestolecc replied to No Crust Racing's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Apexi - ah-pex (there's no freakin "i") Greddy - Just how you see it "GREDDY" same as if you were coping a "HEADY" Jun - Just how you see it JUN, as in how Irish people would say run Stagea - Stehgee-A Bride = brid That's how I say it anyway. And if you search you WILL find the thread already done this. Who cares anyway -

Either. I doubt there is too much difference between either of them. Kits are freakin expensive.. -
Magnaflow is like a generic brand you can have any exhaust shop incorporate into your exhaust. If you're after dump pipes and exhausts PM BATMBL on this forum - he's a good bloke and sells thats stuff already made up, it will probably be cheaper than having one made custom.

Damn I ain't getting my car back today. The supplier got my gasket in but couldn't deliver (too late). Luckily Nathan has actually gone to pick it up so I can have the car back tommorrow.. what a f**king legend. Just needs a couple of minor things done to it and hopefully I'll have it tommorrow arvo.

f*kin hell Ando that's a lot. How the shit did the ECU fry? They're all fixable man - gotta hook up with someone upgrading their ECU, atleast you can use a r32 one.

When I got it it had about 8 deg. I had it put down to 1.5-2 deg which I don't feel is enough. I think 4 will be a good compromise - and I drive it a fair bit

There's a sticker in my car something or other army... (nantoka nantoka gundam) since 94 or some shit. I'll have to get a photo and translation again.

lol Well this is assed. Nathan rang me to tell me one gasket hadn't been included in the vrs kit and he had expected to get it in this morning but it's a no show... unless it gets there by 3pm and he gets time to do it I won't see it till tommorrow. And then there's always the chance it doesn't get there today in which case I'm up the ass cos I won't have my car for the weekend... Nice of him to call and lemme know. Pray for mojo.

Forget the law I'd be thinking about common sense. Say you get a kamikazi bird and it hits your windscreen - do you want that shiit in your face at 80kmh ?? I'd fix it man - as for defects I think you'd probably just get away with it most times but if they go to read your sticker and see it they'd find it un-roadworthy for the logical reason above. I'm just guessing this however so I could be wrong.

Thanks dudes. Actually the problem wasn't too bad except meggala sold me the car with broken head gasket and a bottle of chemi-weld. I didn't want more chemi-weld holding it together so I had the head rebuild with full Nissan vrs kit. When the cams came out 1 ring thingy had a groove on it and one lobe had a chunk out of it so I got some cams from Anthony last night so I could have my car before the weekend. Nic, unfortunately they're just stockers cos I couldn't afford anything else, which is unfortunate cos all this car needs is some cams+rocker arm stoppers and a safe 230rwkw here we come. Hopefully I'll pick up some power because what caused the cams to wear down was crap buildup in the head itself and that's all gone now. I had a look at the head and it's so cleeean... SO clean. Other things being done are wheel alignment with more camber (4degrees.. which still isn't heaps) and caster (as much as possible). The dump-pipe is gonna get some weld treatment too because the xforce dump pipe splitter has gotten lose again (common problem with them). Just got the word too - it'll be ready tommorrow, which is a pity I was gee'ed at the possibility it would be ready today but it's still on schedule so I'm happy P.S. Optimax Extreme (100ron + 5% Ethanol)
someonestolecc replied to Zahos's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Good point .. for all my counter counter counter culturing I forgot to think about that - looks like I'm a pleb afterall. Having said that cane farmers have never been a fan of the liberals, and the nationals have been a coalition limp dick for a long time... and that guy who owns the ethanol plant is one of the biggest donators.. and him and howard have met numerous times... I don't know I suppose anything is possible but I'm inclined to believe Howard and mates are at it again. Ethanol is more expensive to sell in Australia because the government whacks the fuel tax on it. If the government really believed in the globalist ideal of unilateral free trade Brasilian ethanol would be the place to get it from - this is also substantially cheaper than Australian ethanol (so much so the government tariffs it till it's uneconomical to buy). Also - will you be doing anything to your fuel systems to run it or is that all silicone/braided stuff anyway? I may try a tank for a track day where the octane rating will protect when pushing the car constantly, but also where it will be used in one go as opposed to sitting in my fuel lines for a week. -
