  1. Send it to me I'll host it
  2. lol @ angry funkeymonkey. I think if he's reading this he's learnt his lesson.
  3. Anything "play" with the silver eagle?
  4. Good on you Ronin that looks like a professional start. The planned loom and things are definately very professional. I reckon before you set the actual projector please just blue tac it and actually turn it on so you make sure the focus point is throwing the light properly past the enclosure (headlight assembly). Unless off course you've measured where the honda projector sits in relation to the honda light assembly already. Looks like a great project, if you're in Sydney and ever on a cruise I'd like to check em out. Don't know about the led swap. I've been thinking of a led swap on the rear of my cefiro but since I'm selling it can't be bothered. For the price of $250 and getting some extra bulbs and ballasts you'll have a great retro there - the honda xenons are very damn good and probably quite a bit cheaper than the audis. What bulb connector are they for ?
  5. Good stuff keep it comin I know r32 gearbox/handbrake boots from Jay can be fitted with some modding
  6. Thanks for the tip - are you in NSW or have the phone number for the shop? Also a part number perhaps? Sorry to ask so many questions but I wanna make sure I'm comparing apples to apples
  7. lol that's lame - good to hear ya got it sorted.
  8. lol you guys are lucky.. with JCI, if my car got stolen without me knowing who did it and in the first year of me having it it would cost around like $7k unless the theives would be nice enough to leave my wheels or stereo behind. The place in WA that everyone goes through here politely refused. Everyone else pretty much laughed at me.
  9. I don't see why. If they wanted to shift with the times and help us out (so we can have engine transplant shells in 10 years) they'd scrap the camry and avalon and sell similarly priced chasers. Or even scrap the avalon, keep the camry with the crap-factor and make the chaser the upper model and they'd be laughin... then again some bean-counters have probably already thought about that... or maybe not.
  10. How much are you guys paying for replacement rear rotors? Anyone bought from nissan or dba/rda stock replacements?
  11. I'd get the ceramic. But that's just me. I used a stock flywheel (machined). Dono, my flatmate has an organic. It pops (takeup is short) but I'm not a fan, I think mine lends itself to more performance, while still being easier to drive.
  12. Yep - total waste of time. FWD small cars are one thing but a car this size would feel crap.
  13. I think it was about $400? Dono it was like $20 less than the website or something - it's a pretty good price already. I helped BHDave put it in (Dave = champppppION!) I like it because when I dump it it grabs, when I dump it ridiculously it doesn't bite harder than I'd be comfortable to crunch into the gearbox. On the other hand if you like to change quick it'll chirp when you want it. I've given it a very good life but I'm sure with abuse it would be ok. I never actually thanked Cubes for his recommendation either. Thanks Joel - great clutch it's perfect for me.
  14. bosimporting is where I got mine from. Michael is a champ - just PM him his nick is BATMBL - just let him know you're from SAU. r32's use all sorts of bulbs - the one I installed in my flatmates car use H3/H3C's (same as cefiro). I've also heard of H1's being used to make sure you check before you order. Just make sure you be careful with the high beams - the r32 high beams turn off the normal lights. This is NOT good for xenons. (I told my flatmate not to use his highbeams. He's happy). You'll also be pleased to know silvia/skyline/cefiro projectors work very well with aftermarket kits and mine produce almost no glare and almost no hot spots - good ol' Nissan over-engineering. Also - 4300k is the optimum colour - I use 6500k and that's just tingey blue.
  15. Scraper and then respray? The easiest way? Are you f**king kidding me? Just use a credit card and patience. Then after you have the the main parts of the plastic off use a bit of metho or something and a 100% cotton cloth to rub. Elbow grease, more patience. Don't underestimate how much time and effort this takes but it's the best way. A tip - get some duct tape and hold it. When you peel little bits of sticker off the car, stick it onto the duct tape .. much easier than fighting with each piece trying to get it off your hand. Good luck.
  16. I ordered from horsepowerinabox.com - give them an email i think i got it cheaper than list price.
  17. I reckon a flush and full coolant and you'll notice the difference... well.. you would if you had a gauge
  18. This may sound stupid but if you fully work on your car I'd suggest putting in a gutter around the whole outside. I'm not sure if that's what you call it. Make sure it doesn't run straight into the drain though (a catchment or something?) so you can degrease and clean the floor. The cement should be the shiny stuff so you can clean it. Pretty obvious :\
  19. The left is meant to be higher.
  20. Hey Nic can you convert the rear of my ceffy to look like the current model statemen rear? Cool.. beers on me give me a ring
  21. I use a 9 puk xtreme with 860kg pressure plate. SR20 - good stuff. I believe a lot of people here use the xtreme in their RB's.
  22. Can someone take a photo of the cradle arm or describe where it is please? I'm keen to know what part you're talking about.
  23. Nice photos. Can you do my car next ? ... no.. seriously
  24. lol I imported a box of J-air fresheners. They sure smell nice and mix and give the car the J-smell. I had 2 strawberries and one carbon eater in there. It was perfect mix between too smelly intrusiveness and just enough cleanliness. Woo.. Time to get beads this time
  25. LOL I put a prof sheepdog on mine. If set correctly it's really not that bad - your's might just be set too loosely. Mine blows off anything over .5 or .6 bar.. anything under doesn't. It seems to be a nice compromise, it doesn't blow off unless you're really on boost changing gears (i.e. fanging).
