The only mechanical gauge I'd have is boost. Another way to think about it is the gauge needs smething to detect what it's actually reading right? something that detects the temp/pressure/whatever. In an electrical, the sender sits in the engine bay and sends an electrical signal to the gauge by a wire to tell it what value to display with the needle. With a mechanical, you have to take whatever you're measuring and plug it straight into the gauge.. so your oil line has to go into the cabin to plug into the gauge. Ugly stuff.

Ssava are great!! It's what I have on my barina. The stock michelin tyres they give you wore out within the first 6k (the car was new). The ssavas were recently changed at 26k now I've got Federals LOL Nothing but the best of the cheapies on my cefiro however - Nankang all the way .. DORIFTOOoo... better than on my flatmates 32.. all he puts on that is the worst federals you can get... ... lol

I see.. that must have been a long time no? I would have thought the few months the car's been off the road it would still be ok? I've had another car sitting for longer than Adam has had his off the road and it was fine.

I called up cos I had my insurance for my XW with them, but again, on calling them with the cefiro some old guy said we don't want turbo's... I said that's not what I heard then he became rude. shrug

I don't see why old fuel would mean the car won't start? I'd be thinking to check if any fuel in the lines to the engine.. When I run out of petrol usually takes atleast 10l+ and a lot of priming the pump and hitting the accel to get petrol back into the engine. edit: also helps if it aint on a hill with the incline tipping the car towards the rear of the car.

It should be same voltage. If I don't see the current draw to be too high for the sockets etc either. Re-wiring should be easy since you are going to be left with dangling blinker wires after your new front bar goes on... Just remember to get orange blinker bulbs

I'd be setting it a little lower if you expect to be on the limiter a lot.
