  1. SNG on frinight. Flashed my lights and tried to catch up to you to say hello but if I had turned to follow you when you turned left I would have gone sideways. 4 door r33 saturday - pulled up at the lights to say it was nice car, looked like a stocker but it's good to see as they're rare. Looks less of a whale.
  2. In Japan people adopt English a lot. They want to learn and speak English.
  3. Buyer didn't come through money in time of deadline so the car is first in best dressed. price drop $16k with all the stuff on the list. If you want HID and boost controller add $500. Only change from the photos there is a small chunk about the size of a 20c piece snapped off the front bar last Saturday (first time I've ever drifted it on the track!!) Pics from last saturday- http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d16/Aero...06/DSC_3269.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d16/Aero...06/DSC_3258.jpg http://www.initialdrift.com.au/gallery/dis...lbum=69&pos=120 http://www.initialdrift.com.au/gallery/dis...lbum=69&pos=121 http://www.initialdrift.com.au/gallery/dis...lbum=69&pos=272 http://www.initialdrift.com.au/gallery/dis...album=69&pos=82 http://www.initialdrift.com.au/gallery/dis...album=69&pos=90 http://www.initialdrift.com.au/gallery/dis...album=69&pos=87 http://www.initialdrift.com.au/gallery/dis...lbum=69&pos=194 http://www.initialdrift.com.au/gallery/dis...lbum=69&pos=291 Phone number = 0410 532 548
  4. You got pulled for a RBT and told them you were suspended? LOL
  5. Yeah that's cool I'll whore for a drive!! We can be like a factory team.. except you provide the car. Sounds fair to me About the Fords I don't think you're meant to slide the damn things!!
  6. MWUAHWAHAHAhahahaAHahahahha sick thanks. If you're serious I suppose I'd better put some work in! http://photobucket.com/albums/d16/Aeronpho...nt=DSC_3514.jpg Dave cutting it sick ^^ OWN.. That would be f**king fun. Scary but fun.
  7. Hmm I'd be interested to know how the 32 pipes fitted and what was the "near" perfect part? I thought we had a thread here before saying it couldn't be done?
  8. Just obey the forum rules and post the stuff here or don't advertise it.
  9. Hehe Ando. I drove to Newcastle on thursday to pick up a helmet. Bought it from a big guy and it still smelt brand new and fitted on my fat head perfectly. too_much_boost, being the gracious legend he is lent me some rims and tyres, as well as his jack, wheel nuts, petrol and he even bought me lunch on the day!!* It was the only reason I was able to go drift - he also helped me with my sway bar which had popped out and gave me the replacement bit. All I had to do was perform sexual favours!! I outsourced that out to too_much_boost anyway so it turned out to be a great deal.** So yeah the track thing was pretty easy.. 1-2 laps to get used to the track experience.. lap 3 started to do some power overs and by 4th lap I started sliding. By the middle of the day I had linked the first 3 or so corners and could do 100-120kmh entries. Still no handbrake/feint near the wall for me though, didn't want to crash. Basically it's pretty straight forward, I was thinking I didn't want to get in anyone's way etc but it was all unfounded because we got plenty of track time and plenty of room. The only person who was indimidating there was some guy in the MFX sponsored white 180 with blue decals on the side - he overtook me at 200kmh+ on the straight, scaring the shit out of me (he did it really late near the corner). The next session he was behind me he decided to do a 150kmh+ entry while I was about to start sliding.. so if I had kept sliding he would have slid straight into me so I had to abort drifting and grip drive to get away.. I decided to grip the rest of the lap and he decided to stay on my tail the same as the experienced drivers who knew each other were doing. Pretty scary for me being new - all good though. Other than that it consisted of scrutineering, lining up, getting waved into the track, drifitng a few laps, waiting for the checkered flag to come out, finishing the lap, driving back to the pits/carpark and lining up again or parking your car. Repeat. As for my helmet it was a pretty nice helmet so I might keep it cos it'll be hard for me to find another helmet this quality, and I do expect to be out there again one day I got some vids and some pics but I'll have to encode them and host em somewhere.. I have some incar too - I haven't figured out where just yet One thing that annoyed me was my camera ran out of battery 1 lap before I started to pull the best runs of the day :\ Pics are as per the IDA thread - http://photobucket.com/albums/d16/Aeronpho...0Park%204-2-06/ and apparantly there'll be more on the IDA galleries as soon as they are uploaded. Dave was there too he shredded it sick. Was going hard the whole day - even came with me on a tourist drive through the ghetto town of Cobbity. * No, he didn't really buy me petrol or lunch but he did all the other stuff. So thanks Anthony you're a champ. ** What a man does in the sanctity of his own tyre shed is his own business
  10. You can't be that picky if you remember it as a portmanteau and don't know what it's called
  11. Xtreme Clutch Dampened Extra Heavy Duty Kit with 1000kg clutch plate or Dampened 9 Puk Heavy Duty Kit with 860kg clutch plate. Good clutches... Cheap.
  12. Greg - Very suprising to hear that about the DVD. I believe ya the DVD showed it but something must have been off... GTiRs are DAMN fast, and with the right driver plowing the nose through corners VERY VERY competetive (imo) but _destroying_ a GTR??? I can believe it passed it but it can't have destroyed it surely? Each to his own and between funky, baron and Greg there's been enough good thoughts in here for the person who started the thread. I've never driven a GTR but having driven silvias, cefiros, GTiRs I'd still take the GTR if I could. On topic however - the prospective owner of the GTiR shouldn't have any worries but it won't save money
  13. Which rotary switch? WTF is a binnacle in a car?
  14. There's nothing really to take a picture. You just need some pipe to replace the AFM.
  15. Stock for stock they're both boats and I don't think the GTiR would destroy a stock 33 either, especially on the track where the AWD isn't as much of an advantage. My mate put $2k into a whiteline pack into his GTiR and it still understeers like a dog and feels like a FWD car turned into an AWD car. Funny that it's what it is - also feels front heavy at high speeds. Other than that the only other downside is the handling characteristic when pushed - dog understeer turned snap oversteer = sliding into a pole. On the advantages it's got the best factory setup of a sr20 to come out of Nissan and it looks like a tiny little rice car to most people. For driving around in town it'll be a great little car for the urban rally - but it won't be that much cheaper to run I don't think as they do suck the petrol when you put your foot down, and putting your foot down is very fun with a GTiR. Either way - nice cars but I wouldn't get one, somehow the FR setup of a skyline/silvia/cefiro/laurel etc feels more rewarding to me as a driver.
  16. They're all meant to be different. You just go to the shop and buy a new set as someone said, or buy the softest piece of shit socket you can find and hammer it on.
  17. 4 door white r34 going through Mosman on Military Rd today. ATH...
  18. Damn Ando, I was hoping you wouldn't still be off the road but kind of assumed you would be ;\ I'll have a full car on the way down but yeah if you wanna come down - come down on Saturday
  19. On oils I used 8100 religiously, last change I used elf excellium, $10 cheaper and seems the same.
  20. I would have thought that would be the most helpful. My car is pulling nowhere near as much as 300kw but my engineer seemed to be pretty lax and still did it by the book.
  21. Only been to UAS out of the list you put up.. I now exclusively go to Nathan - Grey Imports in Annandale for mechanical.
