Never used a techone kit but f**k that's a good price assuming they're ok. They would be $350-$450+ depending where you got em and they're brand new.. What is it with people today.. Everyone shutup and someone buy.

Not saying that's not a good method at all but thought I'd throw in an alternative. I got a piece of metal (read: strong) and bent it at a 90 degree angle kind of an "L" shape. Long ways I've mounted the fire extinguisher on and the shorter side I've rivetted into the back of the console box in the rear. Basically where the drivetrain tunnel is between the 2 passenger footwells. Works great and keeps it out of the way of passengers in daily traffic mode. I'd also like to say STAY AWAY FROM CHEAP ASSED FIRE EXTINGUISHERS.. Please. I bought a Chubb because I trust the name. I bought a 2 pack of fire extinguishers before this one only when I needed it BOTH FAILED (bought from a cheapo repco type store for $30 for the pair)... Beware!! That's probably the only situation I'd not use zip ties in just incase in impact they're gonna let go. Certain angles they love to snap (hence why they're suited to holding on my front bar haha)... Then again I spose you've probably thoguht of this already and got a few on there holding them from different angles Question on passengers. Yes or No? If there's a drift session would love to take my gf.

If you have time just try to swap one from a mate with the same car and troubleshoot which part is actually dead. If it's just struggling to wind properly some silicone lube sprayed on the car door/window rubber to make it easier works wonders. Remember to wipe the window clean after this though otherwise you get oily windows. ... By the sounds of it though it's probably the motor or reg.

Hey Links, Thanks for the info. I see a few goin for 12k now too (S1 etc). I don't want to make money on it it just seems that a lot of people interested in my car don't have money or have another car. It's actually quite amazing, people have been breaking my balls over the price too and I can understand they'd like a bargain but it's starting to get quite sad. I thought what I'd do is widen my market by trading someone who is into the drift thing for a car I can recoup my money with in the hi-po import market. Time will tell how I go.. I don't really want a whale and the cars that are like are boro lookin 86's, a31's and c33's haha

Some of you may know I've been trying to sell my cef for ages now and because it's a drift car it's probably a limited market. Someone who wanted a street car could just repair the bar and whack on a decent paint job and they'd have a fat car but all the people who are interested in it want to either swap their car or have no money. My question is since many people have purchased imports then decide they want to get into drift, what does everyone think of my chances of swapping my car for say a r33, then selling the r33? I realise it'd be easier if the person who was interested in my car first sold their car, but the reality is I might be willing to drop the extra 1-2k on the r33 because it's worth to me to get rid of it.. whereas they might want to wait to get the price that they really want. Also, this way I hope to widen my chances of getting money to pay off my debts because the market widens up. So... does anyone have any coomments on the advantages/disadvantages of this approach (other than getting stuck with a whale-33 haha), and also what is the price range of stock r33s these days? I'm thinking around the 15k mark?... Finally, does it make any different to price for which series of whale it is?

Depends on your mechanic. If he knows what he's doin he'll use good oil from the company he has a deal with. Sometimes I've had to bring my own choice of oil to the mechanics..

Shit Ando. Sounds like an expensive way of getting rid of the mechanism. Can't you just keep the plug or get another plug from clark rubber or something... even some duct tape? jeez.. go the drift styles not the pimp styles....

Just a quick question - I need to plug up my reverse sensor. I know where it is on the gearbox... where do the wires lead to from there? Anyone know which loom/colour wires etc go back to the ECU? (i'd rather not have to re-wire it to the ECU but splice it into the loom where it should go)..
