Q45 is a bit bigger in diameter but unless you're making 300rwkw I don't think Z32 will be restricting it.

North Shore Police Presence High Tonight
someonestolecc replied to someonestolecc's topic in New South Wales
Heap of coppers on the road today as well! Went for a quick drive cos my car had recently got re-registered and thought I'll go up the beaches. Saw a 300zx pulled over by HWP with bonnet open near Mona Vale and blue lights near MV hotel and decided it was time to go home. -
My New Drifter, A Work In Progress ;)
someonestolecc replied to Simon-S14's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I'd be happy with an aluminium bonnet like 32 GTSTs have the option of using GTR OEM bonnets. Stupid heavy shit.. What's the weight of your car Simon? -
If anyone is goin on a cruise tonight I saw 4 cop cars (HWP/undercover HWP etc etc) on the way back from work.. Looks like there's an operation on on the North Shore if not other parts of Sydney. Stay safe and don't speed!!

A car being registered in NSW from another state is the same as an unregistered car. It has to go through blue slip (you know this already). Blue slip has to comply to ADRs and RTA guidelines etc etc - the blue slip people I spoke to when doing mine all wouldn't touch it without an engineers. This is because a lot of the mods have to be engineered - and they just can't be assed deciding which ones do and don't so they just ask for an engineers. So I ended up engineering, blue slipping, then registering. I think it's better than reverting to stock. Less hassle and you get an engineers certificate so your car is technically legal. I paid $300 for my engineers and I have a lot more mods than you. Good luck.

Need A Expert On Air Filters
someonestolecc replied to R34NRG's topic in General Automotive Discussion
SK has recommended pipercross - some UK brand. I found a pod of theirs for like $70.. Sounds good to me. I emailed them asking what size I would need to fit a z32 AFM and they never got back from me. Lost my business on that count but I may email them again just to be sure. -
I've been using nothing but Motul 8100 5/40. Was thinking of going 5/50 for track use but probably won't - will keep 5/40 and get an oil cooler. Would that be ok? Also, anyone used ELF excellium 5/40? I've been thinking of switching, I think ELF are marketing excellium to take the 8100 market and for $10 if it's the same or better I'll switch. I wish justjap wasn't so far away genuine nissan filter + 8100 5L for $65 ! Anyone know a place on the Northern Beaches/Shore that will do that!?

If you happen to need a new master I have a brand new genuine Nissan one. Thought I needed it and didn't. PM me if you want it. -
Might be the sender sensor stuck in the fuel tank. Kick or whack your fuel tank and see if it helps
-
If it's on its way out and you aren't planning on modding where it needs more fuel (i.e. running more boost, upgrading turbo, injectors etc) then you won't need a bigger one. Just replace with a stocker. On the other hand if you're going to upgrade other things that require more fuel later then get a nismo/walbro/whatever brand you like.

Spacers And Track Days
someonestolecc replied to someonestolecc's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
D'oh. Yet another thing to do Thanks for the replies guys. I'll double check my spacers I hope they're ok. I don't understand how the wheels would be made without the centering ring however. Maybe I've just missed it but everytime I put the wheel on I use one of the studs as a guide. When I look through the wheels where they attached to the hub it's just the 2 surfaces put together - so if you don't do up the nuts for example, the wheel will just flay, not sit tight on the hub ring. This is even true for the rear wheels which have no spacers. -

Shit Richard sounds bad. I heard of this hub ring thing in another thread but regardless of my spacers my wheels don't have this. Is this bad? They're manarays so they're not total rubbish. I can't remember if the spacers have a hub ring. So.. I should be getting new wheels or what? -
Gday, I recently took my car to the tyre shop to get some new tyres fitted and the guys freaked when they saw the spacers on the front wheel. "YOU GO TO THE TRACK AND YOU HAVE SPACERS?!?! FUARRK" They're the type that screw into the hub and they have their own studs the wheel goes on. The wheels I have don't seem to have the guide the goes onto/around the hub so the studs do all the work. I always thought that was normal. Is this dangerous? Should I be taking the spacers off on the track and putting a full set of wheels with no spacers on?
