  1. Could it be a ground wire or faulty alternator?
  2. Boo Manly. I do need a personal trainer though ... *pokes flab*
  3. Rules of the forums are that you have to post a price. I wouldn't normally say that but I'm actually interested in how much these things go for too Great pics by the way - good luck with sale.
  4. Take your ECU. Still might get towed/trashed.
  5. Is the reverse light moulded in or just double-side-taped on?
  6. Good on you mate for testing it out back at the original place and getting that baseline. Between all of them I think should be enough demonstration to people that they really do have to be compared directly. Sounds like an animal car good on you.
  7. I have a aftermarket turbo that has no water cooling lines. I never installed a TT but I drive grandma for 5mins before I get out and leave it idling for 15-20 seconds.
  8. Looks hot. I think it's been posted before. I'm still suprised about 256/256 cams and an EVO intercooler to make that power. Still I want the engine setup.
  9. Don't forget to factor the cost of a manual conversion
  10. Heh it's not rice to me because it doesn't attempt to look like it goes fast. It's just yanks obsession with hondas and it's looks fugly.
  11. Are there screws holding the engine in this time?
  12. I've read enough of your posts to know you ain't any of those (and I'm not willing to test one of them). I was responding to Geoff's post - Now - I've also read enough of his posts to know he isn't any of those either.. But I just detected a kind of elitist view there.. but to be honost I'm not a drifter so I don't really care - and it certainly wasn't meant as an accusation. I was just saying for me personally it's always going to be fun to go run my car around a track, whether it's trying to beat my last laptime or drifting. So long as you're havin fun I reckon.
  13. Unigroup for tune. I haven't tuned my car there but I would if I was going to
  14. I was getting my wallet out you chalky faced goon!!
  15. Hows about an AW11?
  16. It depends what you mean. If you're looking at a cannon a silencer is just a metal round disc the same diameter as the exhaust with a hole in the middle. It usually stays at the very end of the muffler tip held in with a nut. If you're talking about INSIDE the tip then no that's the muffler itself.
  17. Lookin good for a pig. We didn't really notice you gone
  18. Geez. It's all somantics. It's a motorsport because it has a judging criteria. There's nothing wrong with kids saying drift/grip in itself. Let's face it kdis are sponges so whatever they hear they'll say and the material is Japanese. In Japan they use names for stuff we'd consider a strange choice- that's because culturally and linguistically you can't really translate Japanese literally. Hence it's called drift/grip. As for drift be a bogan thing - it's not in Japan, it's just that in Australia everyone has to have a pidgeon hole.. it's like when guys wear tight leather pants they must be gay because it's a 'statement'. In Europe guys wear tight leather pants and they're not gay, they get girls because it isn't a gay thing. Same as in Japan you can drift on some parts ofthe streets because it's culturally/socially acceptable, and the people aren't hardcore types. They don't shout at police. They aren't making a statement like it is in Australia. At the end of the day it's just another fad for the posers, there will always be that component, like the fully sick s15's we see dropped to the deck with 20" chromies because that's what you do to sport cars (sif). I for one will try to get out there to a track and do it because hay I reckon it'll be fun. If I get to a circuit track day too that'll also be great - I just hope I don't disturb your motorsport elitism and you can gimme a few pointers
  19. Turbo timers can be had for $30 if you buy second hand and older school. Funnily enough I'm selling off all my gear so if you want it PM me They aren't really necessary however you're better off just cooling down the entire car not just the engine by driving sensibly 5 mins before getting home. Similarly BOV aren't necessary as your stock one will do. I keep switching between my stock BOV and a professor sheepdog BOV to try to determine which one actually makes my car better to drive. I'm leaning slightly towards the stocker. ... If you really do want the noise PM me I'll sell you my BOV Moral of the story - keep your money stay with the stockers. *end shameless plug*
  20. Thanks very very much yogi and Richard. I only asked because they came up from Morgs - who happens to live near me and I've talked to before so.. yeah it was only an opportunism thing. Thanks again guys.. Looks like I'll have to sort something else out
  21. It's only the thickness? Well it's come from a GTR so I can't imagine it having 32mm left .. I just want my freakin brakes to stop SQUEEKING when I'm rolling. It's damn annoying and makes my car sound like a piece of shit.
  22. Gday, I have r32 type M gtst brakes on my cefiro with the associated 5 stud conversion. When I drive slowly every rotation there's a squeek as if the pad is touching the rotor. I've been told this is because it's warped (funnily it happened shortly after machining). Some r32 GTR rotors have come up and I'm wondering if they will be a straight swap. They're probably bigger but if they will swap in that's fine. If not what would have to be done to get them in? Get r32 GTR calipers too or is it more involved than that? Cheers!!
  23. Damnit where were you 1 year ago when I bought my cefiro - this is EXACTLY the type of skyline I was after. Interested in swap + cash for a worked cefiro (if in Sydney)? PM me if so.. otherwise good luck
