  1. Being let off doesn't prove they need proof. They just didn't do it to you. Getting done proves they can do it. I got done like that :\
  2. I thought it'd be sufficient.. I mean, who at the RTA is going to doctor your photo and then try to generate the same MD5 so that they match? There would be easier ways to doctor the photo, like just.. doctoring it and re-creating both MD5's to match from the fake photo. Either way it's the same reason digital photos can't be used in court, but since the RTA is one of those cash cows I think they'll either do something really quickly or just appeal and win.
  3. Holy crap this this will be an animal! Keep us posted please
  4. Roy's been checking out cefiros that's why he wants them POOMBAH - That's Xsaras for you. My cefiro's struts are original from what I can see and they hold the bonnet up unless it's windy, on a slope or I hang a lamp from it (they're just on their way out). 16 years oh yeah Nissan.
  5. They don't need proof. I've been done on "judgement". As for taking it to court that's anyone guess. Speak to a traffic lawyer.
  6. Thanks Bob. I might try tracing it back, I have a creeping suspicion neither is plugged in.
  7. I read that and was thinkin GOD DAMN that's perfect!! Then you ripped my dreams away from me as swiftly as you gave them :| The thing is I seem to get dodgy responses from yahoo sellers.. It's like they don't even want to sell their products with the responses they give. Also I doubt people are going to be selling cefiro air con surrounds hehe Oh well I'll keep an eye out. If you hear of a place or a chain I'd appreciate a heads up Cheers!
  8. If you get boost (i.e. you can feel your car mumbo) and don't get it registered on the guage it shouldn't be your BOV (although it might be). Are you sure you're gauge is plugged into the right place ?
  9. Also your stock BOV should handle that so you shouldn't actually get flutter. If you just want the whipple sound you need a pod filter or no filter. If you want more of it some people say using a metal (i.e. stainless) intake pipe gets more sound too.
  10. Just a question about this track day. Are you guys racing racing or can a slow beat up cefiro with a novice driver come along? If you're racing racing then I won't go, I have no insurance and don't want to write anyones GTR off cos I'm a noob and didn't know when/where to pull over to let them pass heh. Would I be better off paying less and doing something like the wakefield track day and doing something at OP when I can appreciate it more?
  11. Just out of interest are the backing plates just a big round piece of metal on the inner (undercar) side of the rotor that has a tapered edge all round the rotor? Do they come with r32 gtst rotors?
  12. If they flicker you've got a dud battery or a bad ground or something causing it to not get enough current. I would advise NOT using them till you have sorted this out. By buzz if you mean when you turn them on they're fuzzy (you can just hear the ballasts whine a little in this time if you're listening for it) while they're warming up that's normal HID behaviour. I like turning them on and watching them warm up Impresses the chicks too Bummer bout having to sell your car :\
  13. If Roy reports back saying it's the goods I'll get a tube too cos I bought a tube of exhaust cement from the local shop and it looks crap.
  14. Spose it'll be car with head gaskets and cars that work. sigh.. I'll be up if my car hasn't blown up and I'm free.
  15. WTB thing that sits in the driver door that you press to open the windows in the car. Whole unit with no wiring but must work. Gimme gimme gimme
  16. I don't see why you'd pay that much. Why not just get some generic ones from a wrecker? and use those. Surely they can't be too much different than ones that would keep other non-automotive related stuff open and be much cheaper.
  17. I'm planning to mount mine behind my grill... Out of the way should my car be making an off road excursion at the track.
  18. LOL if you have no filter that's probably what you're hearing. It's also possible if you're running massive boost that the BOV isn't up to the job of venting the air and you're infact hearing reverb.. but you'd have to be running plenty of boost.
  19. I reckon with a kit it could look awesome. Imagine a bonnet changeover and the front bar/grill that actually kept the line of the lights and continued to taper down into the centre. Would looke great.
  20. Sorry to bring an old thread up but I've had a look into this and it appears my boost gauge has been tapped into a hose between the plenum and fuel rail. This is in a SR20 so it's a bit different to the RB20. I'm wondering if anyone knows the location of the best place to tap it into the SR20 - I've had a look around for what's been described but unfortunately I don't know where to find it. With the RB20 and from the conversations and advice in this thread the place seems to be at the back of the engine near the firewall, just behind the intake where the intercooler pipe goes in. Does that sound right? (Want to make sure before we do my mates car).
  21. Not really, although if you can find your alarm module you will probably be able to figure out how many immobilisation points it has. Just look for the wires that head out of it that go out in pairs or are thicker. Or you could trace each one and see if it's spliced in somewhere.
  22. I've decided to dial more camber in and see how that goes. Hopefully it should help with the scrapiing of the tyre on the guard too.
  23. They weren't deleted they are still in the database. They just aren't being displayed at the moment because that part of the front end (the website) needs to be re-coded.
  24. This was sold... to me. Sounds great flows well
