  1. Thanks for the reply S-Kid and daveo 1 - Picking up girls and I will be taking it to the track for drifting around, I also like to do some grand touring 2 - 18x8.5 235/35/18 or 235/40/18 I can't remember which profile. 3 - No idea to be honost. They're hard, but when I depress the corner of the car it has a few cm of travel and bounces back okay. Certainly I think 6.5/10's of what I would consider stock 1/10 and rock hard 10/10. Should I find out specifically or is this a good enough estimation? In regards to #2 I could swear they only started to really wear after I had these particular settings applied.
  2. If you want good handling you may like to get your shocks matched to the springs... if it's just for looks then just know I think you're going to end up with a worse handling car.
  3. This has been covered before - try a search. In summary - some people like em, I wouldn't get one.
  4. I'm not commenting on weather this is effective or not but I thought I'd just mention that the tape I have seen does not work one way as well as the other, it's just the way it's designed (to keep heat IN). If you want to use it on your cooler pipes, use it the opposite way than which it is designed to be used, this way you're keeping the "heat in" to the outside of the pipe, i.e. away from the pipe.
  5. Then take that that car was stolen in Japan and you're supporting car thieves.
  6. I love these kind of threads Good luck with your zorst I know how sometimes the smallest things can often take the most time and cause the most frustration - but then reward
  7. 5 stud? Yes please that would be gold! You guys please PM me your desired login name and your email addresses!
  8. Thanks Ceffy_SA that's brilliant. Tell ya what those jobs are the types of stuff we need - if you got any pics please put those up. Replacing AFM, boost gauge install, turbo gasket = they're all very good.
  9. Whats the red goo do?
  10. cefiro I thought your car looked damn tough... if you decide to sell your coilovers lemme know
  11. Exactly what I was interested in. Lemme know if the sale falls through. Good trader - have dealt with Chris before.
  12. Hey Nic that sounds awesome. Please have one "on my desk" by the end of the week
  13. Chopping is dodgy because of the progression changes - I don't think they chop them. I've heard with heating some people get them sagging so beware.
  14. I stand corrected - fair enough it's a nice car too I think I saw a card with the mods listed and a few advan stickers parked with a couple of other advan cars and I just assumed - sorry no offense intended.
  15. If any of the alarm inputs are triggered (i.e. door/bonnet/boot and or any other additional sensors installed) the engine will be cut and immobilised, all doors lock and alarm on.
  16. It's more or less finished - it just needs articles. C'mon mate where's your profile? Infact I've signed 7 or so people up noone has sent through their profile!! I've had the editor changed on the site so you can all contributors can upload pictures now. I also have one more module to install that will make the URLs more search engine friendly. I will write an instruction guide for contributors and also a marketing and site plan for contributors making contact with "outside" parties for consistencies sake. If you guys want to put cefiroz.com in your signatures on this and other forums that'd be great too - helps with search engine rankings and getting the word out more. PM/Email me for contributor access!!
  17. Let SK's/AB's results speak for themselves guys
  18. Enthusiast car owners tend to be competative - I think we all need to remember why we were there! I was there to promote ceffies and see all the other liners and support my club. I'm sure we all had fun so where's the beef ? I won best drift damage by default and best cup holders/dash accessories so maybe I'm happy cos of that, seriously though I think the judging was fine - I didn't necessarily agree but I think it was fair and to me it wasn't the POINT of the day, I think because there are prizes and a structured judging thing it looks like the main point of the day but it wasn't for me. Perhaps if we keep going on the judging thing for future we can have a pro and amateur type class. I realise this would probably be impossible to define but it's just a thought. This way the full on cars such as the RB26 powered s14 and the other cars could be in the top class. This is only because I would have hoped one of the run around ceffies, stageas or the laurel had taken it. None of us can compete with a sponsored show car (as nice and quality as it was) On the other hand perhaps all categories could be judged by the people to take emphasis from the win/lose thing? Either way - I think the judging was pretty damn fair. P.S. Anyone have pics of any of the cefiros?
  19. If you're around the northern beaches try cromer exhaust centre. They're won't change your diff oil or give you a wheel alignment but everything else seems ok. Tell em the bloke with the white ceffy sent ya (doubt it'll help you tho hahaa)
  20. lol funny d00dz
  21. Wouldn't it be easier (and better) to weld 2 seperate pipes to the same flange from the turbo, then join the smaller seperate wastegate pipe into the main pipe later? SydneyKid suggests atleast 40mm.
  22. That's horrible spelling and grammer you have there. Are you sure you're 20? Try Kmart. They have batteries.
