  1. How do you know the amp is on? I'm assuming the light is on. You should check the remote line with a test light to make sure current is running through it, although if the amp has a light this won't be an issue 'cos if it's on the light will be on. If there is no light then a quick way of testing is shorting the power and the remote (so your power cable runs to your power on the amp, then just get a small wire and short the remote and power terminals on the amp). Check the fade and balance on your head unit to make sure it's actually giving output to the amp. Check where you plugged the RCAs into the head unit to make sure you've used the correct output. If for example your headunit has a sub woofer output and you haven't enabled the sub then nothing will be outputted from those RCAs. Check you've plugged the RCAs into the proper input on the amp, some can have more than one input so make sure if you've got more than one that the speakers/sub are/is actually plugged into the same channel. Finally if you're bridging, enable the bridge mode if your amp has a button for it. Otherwise if you're not bridging make sure the bridge mode is off, if your amp has a button for it. Check the wires on your amp to your speakers are correctly wired to the speaker, so the positive goes to positive and the negative goes to negative. Also make sure it's plugged into the proper wiring bank - sometimes it can get confusing there. Good luck. Let us know how you go.
  2. Thats awesome! Really great lookin.
  3. Does everyones central locking lock when they close their driver door? I'm not talking about the central locking button but rather the actual door lock thing that every door has. Mine seems to only trigger every door open, not closed. I think I may have accidently not plugged something in on the passenger door or somehow it's damaged. Has anyone played with their central and happen to chance onto having their driver side door lock only trigger the central locking either open or closed? I'd appreciate any input I'd like to get it working. ta.
  4. Remember those pics daveo and when the mechanic starts talkin bout insurance and liability about you takin photos in the workshop just give him one of these.. POW :uzi:
  5. Hello, I realise if I probably look at the dash and see the screws I'll work it out but can anyone gimme some pointers and if they encountered and difficulties? ta.
  6. 5'6" and loving turbos? how cute rawr Sounds like a boost valve from ebay time heh heh
  7. Good to see you gettin into the spirit of things Links Where are the a31 manuals though? O_o
  8. Those who are wanting to help there is an interesting point about search engines that daveo raised. We need more search-engine goodness! I've been advised there are 2 ways to go about this. Writing bullshit articles that start with "This article is not about paris hilton and free porn as you'd hoped..." or "In light of the London bombings and lack of a terrorist confession and claim of responsibility we're going to talk about..." ... OR having many links to cefiroz.com from other places. If you all search for your nicknames on google you'll notice you'll come up as part of the forum posts! So if you want to link the site in your sig or something that'd help too! PS. We're not going for option 1 people Although it wouldn't hurt if you're writing articles that include "A31" "cefiro" "drift" "sr20" "rb25" "rb20" and other relevant things etc
  9. What monitor are you using? What operating system?
  10. Thanks JK I appreciate the contact. Most people didn't reply to my PM so I wasn't sure if they'd forgotten or what.
  11. I can vouch for Chris' customer service also. He sent me an alarm and gave me many tips and information after sales service he didn't need to. He was always happy to do it, factual, helpful and willing to tell me to come back if I had any more questions. On more than on occasion too. Blue_R32 I don't think you should be advertising which model of alarm you ahve in your car
  12. I heard that too - with a resistor or something. There's also a jaycar kit that might be able to do it but who knows, it's easier to put in an aftermarket tacho
  13. KICKIN - payment confirmed thank you. I PM'ed everyone else a couple of days ago noone else has paid... : Try to pay this week I tried to make it near pay day!!
  14. Ahh got it. Thanks mate.
  15. Where does the wire lead into? The base/leverage point of the handbrake? Sounds good. Cheers mate.
  16. Good stuff - Just out of interest where did you find your handbrake wire? r32 and a31 looms are very similiar. I'm yet to install my TT but yeah it's an old school one.
  17. That's good. I hope my TT has it. I wondered why it had 5 wires hopefully one of those is that. Cheers
  18. What's the handbrake sensor do? Only run the TT with the handbrake up?
  19. You guys can help now - if you have cefiros email me your profiles! If you have tuned rb25 or rb20 and have technical insights into the tune please write up an article that might explain or help someone doing it at home or unfamiliar with tuning. If you've used multiple aftermarket products and have technical insights applicable to sr20/rb25/rb20 then please do a comparison! plenty of opportunities guys
  20. Ahh good on you man thanks. I'll find out how many others have paid.. CMON GUYS WHATS WRONG WITH YOU I PMED EVERYEON!!?!?!?!@M:KLENHFUOISDBIFYN#M)(FJ$NWOURNSIFM#PHWSFGUODFULLYYULEH

  23. Thanks for pm pitchd. Thanks Daveo you got some great ideas there I didn't think of. Make sure to take lots of photos for the rb25 gearbox Location won't be necessary but if you like you're welcome to put in a fake one.. Please write something up and send it to me I can put it up straight away! I'm still working on user management so people can upload pics themselves so right now it's easier to PM me with a desired login name. I'll make the login for you, you submit the article and email me the pics and within the article just write where you want each image and I'll put them in for you. This is great community spirit!! Keep it up guys
  24. The pipercross ones are reasonably priced. I just never got a reply back from them when I asked about which one to buy to fit a z32 so never ended up buying one.
  25. This thread can be closed now. SAU has been degenerating lately with commo vs skyline and bov vs no bov threads - the guy asked what BOV it was. Someone identified it. Those who wanna stir go to your local pub have a few schooners and sock someone in the mouth.
