  1. try PM PranK or Duncan.
  2. Hay man, with these wheels you'd have to go kursed styles and get the air bags, grind plates and fat guard rolls happenin Considered those gold Manaray VR-5's in 20x9" with 235's stretched over em? Then swap em with me so I can put them on my cef and you can have my wheels
  3. Hey man this buy is still going ahead just waiting for some more people! I've was looking at the bj union kits before too over on ns.com but they seem to have some stuff going on that stopped me from getting them and made me goes these instead. Also BATMBL had a good rep on SAU, the price was right and kaixen seem to be shipped everywhere in the world. In the end I'm glad I did but in the end the choice is up to you. I haven't noticed any fading and I've had them in the last couple of weeks (have a look at my post back in this thread for exact dates), I am still very happy with them otherwise I wouldn't be organising the group buy.. To be honost I thought more cefiro/r32 people would take this up and at the pace it was going I wish I hadn't started the group buy because I know there are some eager people who have been forced to wait Either way have a look at the pics on my car and tommorz night typeM will have a look in person he can post up his thoughts then. (This was meant to occur tonight but I wasn't feeling too well).
  4. Having just bought the car that's unlucky. Good luck clearing them.
  5. You should check mine out - they're crisp, non glaring and have a perfect cut off. There's some pics in the thread in my sig of both my car and my flatmate's 32. If the r34 have projector lights like the r32/a31 then I would highly recommend the HID kits I'm organising a group buy for. If they're "normal" looking lights (after the conversion back to halogen) then I would suspect they do glare and not cut off properly so I would suggest you find the OEM HID assembly and use that. Good luck
  6. manual for general use = linearity and predictability for throttle control. auto (manualised auto) for drag = when that extra .001 matters with the big v8.
  7. I know this may not apply to many here as it hasn't been mentioned but if you have good english/japanese reading/writing (business level good) and some sort of business degree+experience there seems to be a fairly good market in the American company in Japan type thing. I've been looking around and they pay a bundle and offer good conditions (relocation, shares, accommodation, $$ etc). I'll be considering this as I move from my 20's to my 30's (in about 10 years haha). Then again that's ok if you're an executive type - not everyone's thing.
  8. That's some nice power. One day I'll have to try one of these so called "RB" engines Please let us know when you're used to the power and re-installed the heat shields - I'll be keen to see this thread come 'full circle'
  9. I thought of something else that might be plentiful over there. Dash gauge holders, kinda like the ones in the r34 that sit in the passenger crashpad.
  10. D'oh man sorry to hear - but it really could be ALOT worse so be cool it'll be right
  11. danh - We can wait for your right now we need the numbers - please get back to the thread ASAP typeM - Sure gimme a ring tommorrow and I'll drive over your way and you can check it out no problem. Sorry if I didn't reply to a PM I swear I didn't see any... you sure my inbox wasn't full? ahh well either way, talk to ya tommorz
  12. Sup kursed!! Good to hear from ya buddy. Hey can you do me a favour? ... go to the wreckers and pick me up the left hand side vent surround that is always missing, the middle vents, and the little 2 outter vent grills (the little ones that point at the driver and passenger side mirrors to de-fog the field of vision to the side mirrors). Cheers man - oh.. and I think every single person with a cef will be interested in those grills - but remember who asked ya first :sly: Heheh good on ya man
  13. Looks awesome Links gimme a PM if ya cruisin this weekend I might be around your way.
  14. I would be seriously looking at a rb30 with that sort of money and keep the r32 as I love the shape. The other alternative would be a cefiro (with rb30) but we don't need more of those on the road heh heh :sly:
  15. The problem with running the lights on constant power is that when you start the engine the HID ballasts are sucking a lot of juice which would be fighting with your starter. Also you don't always want lights on. I'm keen to see if anyone has any electrical ideas. I can only think of 2 ways they could have done it. 1- When you hit high beams the power source is quite literally switched, which would probably be a relay that does it simply. 2- When you hit the high beams there is a relay that cuts the low beam current while the high beam current is turned on (on a seperate relay). I'm really hoping it is the latter, this way I could just bypass the relay that cuts the low beam current. If it's the former, then I'd have to bypass both relays and re-wire them so it works the way I'd like. With either solution what I'd really like is someone who knows how to do this to outline just how the lights works and I could probably work it out from there. Obviously if someone knows how to do it straight out then I'd appreciate that input too
  16. Pods are defectable because they're modified equipment. Their legality has nothing to do with being boxed. It just needs to be engineered.
  17. Welcome softy I saw you purchased the blue car from ns.com. Nice ride man looks awesome I hope it works out for you - welcome to the cefiro crew.
  18. I think the point is this. A trady using a mobile phone in a van needs it to do his job. A copper using a mobile phone to do his. What's the difference? None. The case is that the copper could be using the phone to save someones life. Fair enough BUT the law is the law so technically they shouldn't be able to do this. We all know they can break the law to enforce is, but philosophically that is too arbitrary, that's why we have law enforcement (police) and a judiciary (check mechanism). If the police is allowed on the spot to say "well I'm breaking this law, to uphold this" it becomes self-perpetuating and arbitrary (more so than it is already). Personally, I think we should all be given more leeway. If you crash because of a mobile phone you should get reemed. If you use it and noone else is around I don't think you should get booked.
  19. :werd: Too right nelly etc are all wannabe gangsters pop stars. They're the same as britney spears and all other manufactured corporate products. Add to biggie some other heroes of rap like eric b rakim slick ricky and sermon. Where's the funked up hip hop these days? What shits me is there's so much quality hip hop I won't ever hear because I'm not tuned into that scene : Who's got the real hip hop? gimme gimme gimme.
  20. Cute - she could chat me up
  21. Just out of interest why is that? Is it because the car behaves badly when having mis-matched front/rears?
