  1. rofl - give him a beer lol lol
  2. There are quite a few cars missing I'm sure but you'll note- No more m3's and gt3rs as I thought would be the case initially Also the fart exhausts might not be considered "engine mods" but "exhaust mods".
  3. So does that mean the stainless steel item was a Japanese brand name one?
  4. haha that's great news!! happy ending
  5. Oh my god !!! I wish my parents bought me one of those... awd v6 in a 1400kg body you can strip bare for the track... *drools* perfect dedicated trackcar hehe
  6. I've removed my ashtray and put my controller unit there. I've thought about trying to mod the ashtray ) so it sits on the top part (the metal) so when you pull the ashtray the unit pops up with it. I'm not sure if it's possible or even if it will fit but I'll be having a look at something nifty.. till then I've double sided taped some velcro on it and the place where the ashtray sits, so when the ashtray is removed I can velcro it.. If i need to I can push it back into the console and it's not visible. Can't help you with the solenoid but don't assume because it's visible it's not stock looking, it all depends on how and when you mount it.. If it's mounted with pink hoses and zip ties... well.. If it's mounted with screws and black hoses and looks like it's meant to be there...
  7. This may be a stupid question but if it's removed the car part is under home & contents right? I mean... it's .. not part of the car? You should ask your insurer.
  8. Intercoolers won't be blue slipped in NSW without an engineers and even after that can be defected. Exhaust has to pass EPA and noise and ground clearance... all engineerable but still defectable.
  9. All mods are something police/AUVIS can pick you on. The BOV plumbed back will be engineerable if it's too loud. The pod .. same thing. Air/oil - as long as the crank case isn't venting to atmosphere. Even after engineering doesn't mean you won't get police picking on you
  10. This may not answer your question but have you considered running an extra always on power cable in behind the dash? (don't forget the fuse) I find it's always useful to have one (ebc, hu, handsfree etc) Also - if you're looking for an illumination for your gauges splice from your existing illumination circuit - easiest place would be the dimmer button installed for ADR compliance. This means you can dim them along with the rest of your dash
  11. NS would be a typo for NA (i assume) which is naturally aspirated which means non forced induction (so it means a naturally breathing engine not a supercharged or turbocharged induction system).
  12. I thought it was built and nico had it painted and shaved? Oh well who cares.. it's a ceffy in autospeed
  13. Thanks for all the suggestions guys... I'd try that silicone grease stuff but my seatbelts don't wind cos they're old and my windows don't go up cos they fall forward, I think it'd be a bit hopeful in my case. R32 fit?
  14. You're ****ing kiddin!
  15. Good question, and very timely one too. BATMBL will be exchanging my bulbs tommorrow (by post). After the pics are up I will set a date then but assuming the pics of my car and stuff are up by this weekend, and people come check em out... I'll tentatively aim for the end of the month - this will give everyone plenty of time to get organised. Then delivery I'm assuming will take a week or two. So ... say we put give people 2 weeks from this weekend to put money in and get organised, then allow 1-2weeks for delivery (tentatively).
  16. The power light flashes on mine too for a few seconds. I always thought it was power steering. Mine was also once an auto. Never really worried me but I'm watching keenly to find out exactly what it is/does
  17. Thanks too_much - do you happen to know if r32 ones mount the same as s13? Harness = illegal for road use, and it's for the passenger anyway
  18. Looks like nico's old car. http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_2553/article.html If so it's in autospeed
  19. LOL All atmosphere venting BOVs will screw around with your air fuel ratio. Just get any and know that it will be screwy or get a hybrid if you want the psst and not to be screwy. OR just stick with the stock which does the job but doesn't wank hehe As for the pod pods are worse than stock without an air partition and cold air induction and if you'd like to have a look at that checkout the CAI thread (search for it) as it's very big. If you just want to go out and buy a pod filter jump onto garage-13.com and buy the apexi.
  20. Just wondering what belts I can use to replace ones that don't wind. Can I just get a wrecked set from r32?
  21. Where abouts in Sydney are you? Care to sell passenger seat belt? Must be whole mechanism.
  22. lol i'd be keen to see how that flash-itself thing works. Just to know how it works.. it intrigues me
  23. I'll 3rd that. I didn't realise it had been opened to anyone but yeah there are alotta empty questions last time I searched through it.
  24. Yeah man it's a good idea to get it dyno'ed just to check the Air Fuel Ratio (AFR)s so you know it's boosting along ok and providing enough fuel to the engine when it needs it. The dyno is a tuning tool, so it can tell you some things about your car such as AFR and power etc. If someone is tuning your car (say with an aftermarket computer or a ECU re-chip) then they can tune it while using the dyno as the tool to see what the car is doing hence "dyno tune". Good luck.
  25. lol thought you were in Sydney Adz always whoring the sales heh it's true.
