  1. YMMV? what the, like i said in first post look at what is needed in ya local area and work with it
  2. like i said partnerships rearly workout, everyone you "know" that works for them self must have there businesses set up wrong i am in the building industry and everyone i know that works for themself loves it and wouldn't look back. If you can't make enough money to take some days off then you are doing it wrong, i take 4 weeks every christmas with no dramas and yeah while there is no money getting earnt i make enough and have the business set up so it doesn't matter. i only take enough work so i start at 7am and am at home by 2pm most days depending on much has to be done any given week i only like to do 4/5 days a week i refuse to work saturdays unless its for mates, with only one hour of paper work a day by thetime my 2 year old wakes up for his arvo nap i've got the rest of the day to spend with him, so yeah work for yourself is the "bees knees"
  3. from memory(and it's been awhile) at worst it's about 170-180km each way from windsor to singleton, grab a jerry full just in case,
  4. You can't beat worhing for yourself, you make your own hours and if you want a day off you don't have to answer to anyone. francises are genrally not a goodidea you have to follow there rules and methods which i don't think that it is then your own business. My best man brought into a francise involving car parts and stuff and it was the rules off the francise that sent him under, it was to do with the stock he had to keep instore that didn't sell in his area. Start your own business with your own ideas by looking around your local area and seeing what is needed, no point starting something that your area already has some a few of. You like washing YOUR car but do it 10hrs a day 5/6 days a week and see how good it is As for partnerships they very rearly end well as one side always think they are getting ripped or over worked, i was in a partner ship with my father for 8 years before i had to buy him out or disown him. Deversity is always a good idea, my dad would say "the more strings in a bow the better tune you can play" What have you got to lose, still on Ps so i'm guessing you live at home with your perants so at best you will lose you car if worst happens it's alot less then if you did it in 5-10 years and were risking a house and had a wife and kids to support, the younger you are the more time you have to recover if it does not work out which is always a possiblity when starting and running your own business
  5. it should go back together the same way it comes apart, so take note of how it is before you remove the old one and replace it so it is the same
  6. cut the boost signal into the fuel pressure reg line and remove from gray canistor line, otherwise the drawing is correct, i have evc 5 in my 32 and evc 6 in my 34, make sure the boost lines are connected to car correctly
  7. i to would be interested for this, does anyone know if halfway house has been rebuilt
  8. sounds like the boost controlller has ben put back on the wrong way and your running waste gate presure
  9. try vice grips and a hammer, you should not heat threads
  10. thats interesting i have the z145a on my 34
  11. don't take this the wrong way but have you been on a track before in anything? cause a high powered GTR is not what you want to start in, baby steps get use to the car on a track then start increasing power, my r32 has 290rwkw set up for drags and 260 for track at which it has done a 1.07 at wakefield and a 1.45 at eastern creek and after 8 years of owning the car it still make me smile every time it hits full boost (except in wet)
  12. pics of exhaust and dash how many k's on dash
  13. the bsm car made around the 450rwkw mark from memory and dave he said it was a scary ride and i've been in the car with him around easten creek and he can really drive, 600rwkw on a track is never going to be used a so very pointless, even on street it would be dangerous at best that kind of power is only any good for dedicated drag cars or dyno whores
  14. and if one won't do it get two,one of my mates had to do that to pass his turbo ae82 corrolla
  15. oil pump problem was rumoured to have been fixed the same time the r32 went to a pull clutch, oil stavation to bearings is still a problem in all models and is easy to fix simple run 1/2- 3/4 a litre overfull of oil and try not to turn corners at redline. that is a very clean r32 and a nice colour pretty rare to, at that price it is well worth a closer look
  16. yes z145a is same through all gtrs
  17. sorry about the delay this new site is confussing hopefully you got this sorted
  18. r34 gtr 11.8 @ 117.95mph
  19. 5 hrs away where do you live, try sss at girraween they usally have 26s instock and if you have problem with engine they will swap it, most of there engines they drive in japan for them selfs to see if there stuffed, remember cheaper isn,t always cheaper
  20. mine is doing same thing and i have z32 afms with pfc, drive on less throttle till its full temp, and its the O2 sensors
  21. remove the cat wire up rest of exhaurst and take for a run around the block, it will be very loud but will remove any possible restriction in exhaurst and help rule out exhaurst, split dumps are better
  22. had any work done on car lately, could be grubby hand prints on exhaurst burning off as it gets hot
  23. i have one, location, pm me if your in sydney $50 its all yours
  24. i think you will find the volt meter comes from alternator not battery and wires no matter what size suffer voltage loss to some degree so the further you from the power source the lower the reading
