  1. all batteries weigh a ton. ^ the delkor i got (660cca) is pysically smaller than my last 550cca battery.
  2. im running a r33 gearbox in my r32. It actually has a std gearshift lever that has been cut and welded. i cant remember where it had been cut/rewelded, but i dont know if its a shorter shift or not. The gearknob height is shorter though.
  3. currently running a 660cca battery...cranks over fine Delkor calcium
  4. I read it and thought...hmmm If it isnt a typo, people must think its good to be different. I find it a bit pointless to put a larger cc motor in to get good power, then run the head with the smallest valves. 3lt to make more power yeah...but then throw on the poorest flowing head on it...on a turbo motor too which benefits from more flowing gasses? Nice but can i ask which gearbox u are running? If it is out of a skyline, not a std torana box, how well did the gearshift line up in the std position?
  5. havent sorted my aircon isses yet Maybe ask in the SA section where people have had their air con done with good success?
  6. could be. Drop in to an air con place and get someone to have a quick squizz is the best bet. There is also the aircon belt adjuster bearing under the front left, which mine was making some noise. stick yer head under and have a listen if its that as well..
  7. does it do it all the time chris? Mine used to make the scraping noise when turning, turned out to be a ps pump leak (low fluid) Now it makes a scraping from the same area only when the aircon is switched on. I need the aircon compressor rebuilt (new bearings, maybe clutch as well)
  8. my os twin doesnt rattle, just makes the high ringing noise when the clutch is pressed in. (harldy noticable, but meh)
  9. lol...small single and gt35r, and cheap dont belong in the same sentence. From memory a hone, with new bearings and rings was about $900 odd, so add cost of the pistons it was under 2k easy for a freshen up on a motor. If stock bearings are about the same as afttermarket id use aftermarket. (king race ones Cubes and myself used) we had the motor balanced which is always worth it imho. 32gtr oil will fit, std rb30 water pumps are $80 new...get a newie. I dont run a crank collar, but dont take my car on the track or rev it for extended periods and its fine.
  10. U probably been asked a million times, but how about us r32 owners?
  11. Howdy guys - quick update I spoke to Grant at Noltec again today. These kits were "supposed" to be in last friday. I then had a phone call late friday, to which they told me Monday at the latest. Now i rang just then, and they said they have over 40 sets they are STILL waiting on from the laminators, so they havent got any still... He will be sending them overnight to me as soon as he sees them, and we are on top of the order list. He didnt give me any date, but id assume they would be very soon. Basically were only being held up by production delays atm, sorry guys. Noltec do realise they are stuffing us around now, and are sorry about this. I hope we can get these in this week, but i'll keep u all updated as best i can.
  12. nah, thats fine i can get em new $550 delivered from Japan. Thanks anyway mate
  13. Are these DIS-001 ? Do you have the box they come in? How long have they been used for? (kms?) I'll offer $450 + postage thanks mate - btw the calipers are going great
  14. not a stone in between the stone guard and the rotor? lol - product recall on a 14 year old car
  15. Sorry to hear Kym, hope all goes well for the future
  16. any wiring on the ecu loom is a no-no, they dont like it at all. I heard a recirculating catch-can is legal, as long as its plumb back, not the ones with the small filter on top. Regency is a full inspection, no matter if it says minor. bad bushes, leaks, worn seatbelts, turbo timers are all bad. My mates bro knows someone who had engineered coilovers (spent $3k to get it done) and the guys at regency said no we dont like em make it as stocker as possible, and roadworthy
  17. noltec also sell camber kit for the rear, same as whiteline
  18. losing ps after 40m up the road usually means no speed signal getting to the ecu. Did u have the speedo recalibrated, and it works fine?
  19. Everyone watch out for coppers waiting inside, and on the street pulling over cars defecting people
  20. thanks mate new list - neo32 Beer Baron JSWR32 Ronin 09 lwells 180_mph Mr Keets OnGsTa Cubes GTR 1993 Myself gt-t_r34 thought i forgot someone...
  21. Sounds like a pain, but to get it properly....dash out I know its a pain, but it may be the only way to see where its coming from / and fix it properly. If its a pin-hole leak, use sikaflex (black body sealer) or get someone handy with a mig to zap it. It souldnt be too much hassle, if u just do 1 small bit at a time, and lay it all out. Good luck. ps - it aint the heater core is it? just when it rains?
  22. Noltec seem to run out of stock before they decide to even have new ones made to restock themselves. I asked why it was taking so long at one point, and they commented they ran out of srush tubes, so they couldnt even supply their suppliers with the parts needed to make these yer well that must come down to the fact im a new supplier, and they are just starting to realise i can move a bit of stuff...im almost on a first name basis now with the guys there, so its basically building a business rep if u like. They prolly trust me now if i say i want 10 kits, they will trry to pull a finger... Future orders should happen faster is the main thing. I really wanna finish this one before i go ahead and do another one. Its too time consuming for me, especially when i dont make a profit on any of this.
  23. I have spoken to Noltec, and i will be doing rear camber kits, caster kits (std or adjustable), and front camber kits. I'll need 5 or more kits to get big discounts again, but as for anything else off their catalogue, ask me and i can get 20% off their RRP.
  24. AVS suspension work on a lot of imports here in SA. Give them a try. and of course u dont mean u race or act stupid on public roads, because that give this forum a bad name, which is a no-no...
  25. Just got a list here of the people waiting for these damn bushes... If u have paid, and cant see your name on the list, please let me know asap, and i'll add you. Im ordering all bushes at once now, (due to the delay of supplies) so everyone should have them around the same time List: twisted neo32 Beer Baron JSWR32 Ronin 09 lwells 180_mph Mr Keets OnGsTa Cubes GTR 1993 Myself thanks guys for being patient. I have spoke to Noltec, and stock will be in THIS FRIDAY
