  1. yer u know i said im in will have the 7402 by then, so yer.
  2. repco part RRB033 i installed em in me r32 and they fit perfect.
  3. Ok now everyones "ooh-ahh" over the fine, show me, or tell me of someone who has been fined even near the amount mentioned for removing a cat converter.
  4. cubes had his power fc fixed by force electronics for around $150.
  5. This is posted all the time. No one has evidence, or knows anyone that has been done for it... Just weld a pipe through your cat
  6. OK this is from memory, but: 1. goes in between the pad and number 2. 2. goes in between number 1 and the pistons pushing on the pad. ( ie install #2, #1, then pad on one side) 3. is tha clip that #6 goes through. It clips to the end of the pad to hold 1, 2 and the pad together. Sort of hard to explain without seeing a workshop manual. Search here for it, or ill dig one up. 4. is the copper grease. Put a schmear between each shim, and the back of the pad. People say u dont need em, but ive never had pad sqeal (with rb74's) and ive never chamfered the edge of the pads.
  7. I dunno if r33 runs a relay or not. If it doesnt then yes, u can add a relay.
  8. he is a trader on sau ive seen his stuff through the business section. No doubt hes a nice guy, he just doesnt sell these hc3 type. I know u can wire up h3 globes, id just rather have the globes that plug in without having to solder and rewire the globe everytime. Im gunna wire up the headlights with a relay as it will improve the brightness as well...(apparently...wanna see it for myself first)
  9. probably power steering or brake fluid line. PS would be the hicas lines, either way u might wanna check it asap.
  10. yer thats why im trying to find where people buy their globes from...and for a good price, not $65 a pop fer 2 globes
  11. he doesnt sell h3c Im after local as well...hopefully
  12. Where in Adelaide do u guys buy your H3C globes from? They are the normal driving lights, not the parkers or high beam globes. I wanna see if someone in Adelaide sells em, before i have to buy a set of 55w (6000k look) off eGay.... Best price ive got off is $26 a pair, but would prefer local.... So where do u buy em from??
  13. Had "SIR GTS" come up beside me between pooraka maccas, and x-keys hotel. His on-off the throttle with the bov going "pssch pssch" along side me, then turning of the side street while dirfiting in broad daylight made him my instant hero.....
  14. u could be using more fuel if u dont run a thermostat. *my own opinion* Doesnt the ecu use the temp sensor to decide when the cars warmed up, and puts in less fuel?? *flame away* but thats my thoughts, as the car will take longer to warm up without the thermostat.
  15. I am a little biased as i like WIA welders (made in Aus) and have used em for a long time. Never had problems with them, unlike the cig welders etc...
  16. u just missed the corolla-fest by about a couple of weeks. Look back a page or 2 and theres a couple of good ones for sale here...
  17. Gasless is Mog not mig Gassless is only for very light welding stuff ie 1 or 2mm steel or wire. My uncle had one, and it was useless to use...u need still or no wind at all. Mig for home would be any of these : http://www.welding.com.au/products-listing...?iCategoryID=63 (as they are single phase) they require a 15 kg roll of wire too (it can go rusty which is useless) if u dont use it all Gas bottles are rented per year ^ and u have to buy gas. They can do aluminium as said which requires ally wire. then theres tips, nozzles, etc which add to costs . Tig can do anyhting u want, but costs $$$$
  18. I tried to get the online cd key, but it stops at step 1, saying enter zip code when i already have??? edit/ u need a 5 digit postcode....when aus only has 4
  19. thats the rb30et (turbo) one, not the std rb30e as the shaft is different. Just swap your fan over if u have to replace it.
  20. do luck copies mate...front bars are very nice.
  21. my mate has a HQ caprice which had a 308 worked with 280Hp on LPG (~300Hp on petrol) and that car is damn fast. He built the thing to run on lpg, and its done 1million kms...(around the clock numerous times) That is a damn fast car for its age, and the kms done. It does need a freshen up due to the kms, but still...im impressed
  22. See SK's comments - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...c=98247&hl=
  23. Should be the same as the r32. From memory there is 1 bolt as a lock, then another bolt to adjust the tension. U have the right bolt, and as blind_elk said working on nissan sucks. If u are replacing all belts, then just cut em off and stick newies on...
  24. i agree ^ I replaced the clutch fan hub on my car with a craig davies hub i bought from Sprint auto. It had on the box Skyline r32, r33 and vl holden (rb30et) It cost $130 @ trade price. Just a heads up incase...Flush the rad (including heater box core) + system, replace thermostat and cap, bleed system. If that fails replace clutch...let us know how u go:)
