  1. arnt all gtr pumps second hand when people buy them
  2. stagea is 4.08 if i remember, and gtr (32's) is 4.11 but i dont see how going to a more take off diff ratio would stop the diff from being stripped. If anything its loading it up more....
  3. Sorry, havent had a chance as my gf is in hospital, and ive been busy running around. Will do tomorrow, if they are open, or Monday at the latest
  4. I seem to be the only one without any float....yet i still will be using the 3.9 or 3.7 diff ratio as i like to move off the line without boost, but changing it up at 3k is lightning fast. I dont do drags, or lots of trackwork, so the benefits the taller diff bring will be ok for me. It will be tuned soon with it, so i'll post results.
  5. I dont know if i would get quoted the same price again. Ive rung up before (2 separate times) for some other parts, and depending on who you speak to, and sometimes time of day you get quoted different prices... I'll have to ring back and double check....im sure he said $120 at the time i enquired though....
  6. Yes, i use it as a road car, so i should have stated for a daily driver i found it was the best for me. If you do have a track car then go for it, rip out all the 20 odd kg's it saves
  7. isnt it just a matter of the bracket its fitted to then? make up a new bracket...
  8. mundine wanted it more.....wanna take it outside and fight about it??
  9. im sure it was $120 ea for the soft rubber as both my drivers and passenger side glass rubbers are shagged at the top corners. I rang the guy here in Adelaide (Unley Nissan) and he recently got them for his own 32 GTR and he knew exaclty what i wanted. I need the hard bits too as some f*kwit tried to break into my car and ive got screwdriver marks along the hard rubbers. linky no worky as well
  10. The little black box thats a part of the tomei kit, when installed corrects the slow speed heavy feeling. I had heavy steering as my hicas was on/off, but i put the tomei kit in and its all good now. No heavy steering at all. It still lets power steering errors apper though (as my speedo stopped working), and the hicas light came on. This is better than just ripping out the hicas, and removing the globe from the dash.
  11. Try Rezz. He can get new oem parts from Nissan Japan for slightly cheaper than aus delivered oem gear. There was a thread in the Jap section. Beer baron - the rear window seal kit was roughly $400, the rear 1/4 window seal can only be bought with the window and is $400 per side. The door rubbers you want i inquired here in Adelaide and they wanted $120 per side. There is someone on the forums here who mentioned someone like Windscreens obrien just use a generic seal off something like a commondore that works for the rear seal. Speak to Rezz though....its in his sig from memory
  12. time to find a cheap pda
  13. the man above u answered it
  14. left is a r33 gtst box, right is rb20det box. size should tell, but there are numbers on the case as well
  15. LOL yes i can see now....damn my eyes must be worse than i thought Dunno why but when i saw it i thought someone had put a 3lt turbo in it...now that gives me an idea
  16. you have to buy 2 bottles, as its 4.2lts with a filter change
  17. Any diff gearing from a r200 short nose diff will fit. There are HEAPS of ratios too. 3.69, 3.9, 4.08, 4.11, 4.3.... just swap cw & pinion as said...
  18. I use rb74's and they are low dust on the street. They will handle the odd track day too. Most pads ive seen either - dusty (cos the pads wear fast), or non dusty (cost they chew the rotor out more so than the pad)
  19. what motor is it? Id say 2jz as the intakes on the passenger side of the car?
  20. 33 bushes are here yay... u guys should see them in a day or so.
  21. coilpacks misfiring?
  22. os twin. they supplied the correct bearing and carrier to match it to the 25 box.
  23. how about 1 turbo short of a fast car
  24. yer when i gave them my twin plate, i also gave them the thrust bearing/ and carrier. They said both were the wrong ones, and supplied a new bearing+carrier for about $40 i think it was. I installed the clutch, fit the new carrier and fork, and havent had any troubles with the setup apart from the shagged master which ive replaced since
  25. ive got a list of speeding fines...and everytime ive been pulled over in the line lately *last 4 times* ive gotten a slap on the wrist. I must look like a respectable citizen
