  1. I vote we ban all discussion on games until i get my new rig in a few weeks...that way everyones happy
  2. Sorry guys been busy and havent updated thread. Yes the r32 group is still open for you guys to get in on. I'll pm you details etc. If anyone else want them for r32 (or r34 as they take the same bush, but i cant see them needing these yet) let me know, and i can include you. GTR and GTst use the same bush (same part number). Installation would be how i described in the first post, but id have more of an idea when u pull out your subframe. Then its just a matter of cutting the old ones out and putting these in. Havent seen any info on how-to's yet, maybe one of the guys here will post up a how to when they get thier kits. I spoke to Noltec and it seems they hadnt received my payment for the r33 sets. They are double checking then sending out the items to me o/n so to the other guys you should be seeing them as soon as i get them. Sorry for the delays...
  3. biggest tip is wash the dust off with skin with cold water. Warm water opens pores and lets the particles in your skin = rash big time.
  4. got a set of std height front springs off my r32 4 sale. Checkout the for sale section if interested. Painted the King springs blue.... looking for $85 ono...prefer pickup. Good for anyone needing to go through regency. thanks.
  5. I have a pair of new STANDARD height springs for an r32 gtst. These were bought by the last owner of my car, and fitted to pass the roadworthy inspection. They are std height, sprayed in a light blue colour which i believe means they are KING springs. These are the springs only for the front. No shocks. I'll get pics up by the end of this week. Looking for $85 for the pair ono. thanks.
  6. that carsales one looks a bit ghey with r33 gtr rims on it...
  7. there is a diy in the tutorial section....
  8. I heard that vista wasnt all it was meant to be, according to some reviews on OCAU....i might stick with xp for now, and move over to vista later... I cbf waiting for any new releases when buying my new comp gear in a couple of weeks. Something new is always coming, so whatever you buy will only last a certain amount of time anyway.
  9. yer hurry up. Im waiting to see the if the 3lt will struggle to get the 1.06 on boost through 1st and 2nd. Im guessing it will need a set of cams and a slightly better redline (7200+) dont make me pull out my pic again
  10. I suspect people that talk abou their cars wheelspinning tend to try to drive the accelerator pedal through the firewall and wonder why they cant get the power down. How many people jump on a Yamaha R1 and wrench the throttle then complain the bike doenst handle? I can safely rev my 3lt out to 6500-7 and stay off boost yet control the wheelspin. If i do its my fault due to the suspension setup and the crapola tyres im running. Everyone forgets u NEED a turbo to suit this motor. A stupid highflow is fun, but a gt30 or bigger is needed minimal. It aint fun wheelspinning @ 1500rpm off the lights. This costs like 2k before u even got the motor in. Add extras like gaskets, oil, coolant, etc and it adds like 2k onto the end budget. Typical with this shit is that stuff comes up. Expect that u WILL blow the gearbox as it simply wont handle the torque (cubes mashed 1 with 176rwkw). Subframe mounts, suspension etc all take a beating with extra power, so dont expect to try to pull a a budget 280rwkw anyday. It aint happening. Buy a 2535 for the 2Lt and be happy....unless u want to spend 10k +. The motor and head are the cheap bits to buy for the 3lt conversion...
  11. couple of update pics Havent been working on it much lately....but meh... (images attached for now as sau hosting is down atm) will edit later... Engine bay still have brake stuff to go in, and painted. Body is being sprayed and decals put on the exterior...as well as lights etc.
  12. drivers side a-pillar trim? what condition...
  13. Update: spoke to the supplier today guys, and i'll have them middle of next week, and start sending out the r33 bushes as soon as i get them R32 orders still waiting on payment from a couple of guys...will pm you to see whats going on
  14. Cubes smashed 3rd gear loaded it in 3rd gear....hes got pics somehwere too... Weight isnt really an issue. I can easily lift a rb20 box by myself, and can still lift a rb25box. It is heavier, but not anything u would notice while driving id think....wind in another 2psi and u wont
  15. Tried Morrie @ HPIAB? he stocks braided and normal kits, and hes in SA so u can pickup too...tell him if its high or lowmounted and hes got a kit....if u want it cheaper go without braiding
  16. soft front and rear unless its for the track
  17. A search would have shown - pedders do em $32.50 per side
  18. yer im keen depending on $$ also....
  19. He didnt say which ones were leaking. The 3 that normally leak are the 3 coming off the reservior. The other 2 just have banjo connections on, which im sure Pirtek can sort out also...
  20. Yes for genuine parts it would be. Either: Talk to Rezz to get cheaper oem hoses, or go to Pirtek like i did, and spend a total of $20 on the 3 replacement lengths. The largest one back to the reservior was a tad smaller in the internal dia., but it doesnt matter
  21. Noltec sell the bushes, offset bushes, or fully adjustable arms with new bushes.
  22. What cond. is your current setup in? Have u had the std calipers rebuilt? Ive got the r32 gtr front rotors and rebuilt calipers, running rb74's on the street. It'll lock the fronts if i want em to, any compound tyre.. Bigger rotors means less force on the pedal to stop..or something like that.
  23. U dont need to jack the motor at all really. Just lift the box slightly as you pull it to the rear. When it separates from the motor slightly then u should see what needs to be done to get it out. Remove the clutch slave too
  24. Ive removed a r32 gearbox out of my r32, and put in and removed a r33 box in my r32 on the ground. They require a twist to the passenger side as you pull it out to clear the starter mount on the firewall. It should come out easy. take out the shifter as Pred has said...waaay easier
  25. I cant remeber its been so long since i had it done. It couldve even been 20, 40 and 60 thou sizes...best is to ask yer engine buider. I do know it is 3 size ups, and we went the middle one...
