  1. Really? Is this for more accurate fuel readings when turning corners etc?
  2. Easier to replace then repair the Mitsubishi CAS' because its easy to bend the timing disc inside when you pull it apart.
  3. Yeah if its just a 2 pin plug then either bridging it or opening it will send the gauge full. I'd say it needs 100% voltage to read full on the gauge If its 3 pin then you will have a power, ground and signal. Joining power directly to signal should give you full gauge IMPORTANT: Be very very very careful bridging wires near the fuel tank. Fuel vapours, spark..... These are the things that cause explosions in combustion chambers
  4. its stuck on Max values. If you are in 1,2 or 4 channel then it should show live and max values in little black boxes above the real-time values If this is the case then it is just stuck on max values. Press up or down and it should go back to real-time. Press all the arrows otherwise, you wont wreck anyhting in monitor mode. The worst you can do is re-set the max values (these are re-set everytime you turn the car off anyway)
  5. Check CAS, if the bearings are on the way out it vibrates pretty horribly. I chased a noise for ages, thinking it was the CAS mounting or timing cover mounting but pulled the CAS off one day and could barely spin it by hand. Timing belt should be done, but you'll find the noise is probably the CAS
  6. What manifold it actually is will really determine if its any good. Plazmaman which uses stock runners is a good manifold and I suppose you could call hideously oversize? The Greddy knock offs are the main ones kicking around (I have one, as you can see in my sig/profile pic) I don't think it made an awful lot of difference (good or bad) but it neatens up the engine bay an awful lot. I wouldnt turn down a car JUST because it has one, Especially a Plazmaman.
  7. Yeah it may be different on other models, was just saying where it is and whats in it basically. I think thats why my settings were all out, because its an r33-r34 base map that is included with the download The screen above shows you can either select a map sensor or use calibration tables to enter your own values
  8. This is where you need to be (note AN Volt 1 on the left hand side):
  9. lol I've been pulled over with the engine as it is in my sig and all they looked at was that the pod filter was bolted to the car somehow. Had a 2 second look over the engine and said I was right to go Then again it was pretty neat and nothing really stood out. Will be a different story now lol I'm gonna use VHT wrinkle black, either gonna leave it in the sun for a few days or bake it in an oven but I think it will stick alright. Ben should have an Idea on how the VHT wrinkle sticks anyway. It seemed like pretty durable stuff when I did a test run on an old cam cover
  10. Pity points for having an Xbox?
  11. I've had the 3" piping for a while now, It didn't seem that laggy, but at the same time I was only running a small turbo. I have 256 poncams in this engine so should be alright Its probably not so much an issue for someone with 2.5" piping having the stock TB, but the VH45 TB when bolted on the greddy/freddy manifold and opened up is a perfect internal fit to the manifold, absoloutly no restriction, which is good for me with my piping I'm probably painting the manifold this afternoon anyway so It should look alot better then it does at the moment. I bead blasted it the other week but might still hit it with a buff pad in a few spots before paint. Still havent decided if I'm going to go wrinkle black or wrinkle silver (And a Greddy sticker to make it look genuine ) but can do one then the other and decide. I'm so lazy to paint the engine bay, I just want to chuck the new engine in. But the engine may never be out again so nows the time to do it.
  12. Yeah that is a bit odd.... I joined a few days after the crew was created..... Blew some money on my car today, its to hard to save for properties Also, my PSN name is CAL096 if it has caused any confusion. Its not a 17 year old imposter
  13. 3" Cooler piping, everything is 3" from the turbo to the old throttle body. I know that plenty of cars make the power with the stock Throttle body, but I still saw it as a bit silly having 3" piping then dropping down then back up when it gets to the TB The other reason is I wanted to get rid of the adapter I needed for the stock TB Just waiting for a gasket for it now
  14. I have a figure in mind But as long as its over 300rwkw im happy. Plenty of room to move above that anyway Carbon covers are just off my old engine lol. Gave them a clean
  15. I've been in the crew since before online started? not sure whats going on there if thats the case. might explain it
  16. Ahhh Makes sense now lol. Yeah will look into that Yeah I approach crew members and am not really sure what to expect, sometimes theres a funny couple of rounds fired or some demolition derby Wasn't really angry over it, just one of those 'son of a bitch!' type moments
  17. If you hit 'Parameters' on the side of the box with all the settings you will see the section he has gotten in to
  18. Really need to get some photos that arent off my phone... or put my engine in
  19. Armoured van jobs? Havent seen any if thats what you meant Who is dvddd or whoever? Killing me, stealing my car then rolling it on its side so I cant get in it. Not cool Waited 5 mins for someone to come out of a clothes shop then mowed him down. Pretty funny. Then he killed me and stole my car lol
  20. I have about $10,000, so think I got a fair way to go lol.... I went to an ATM when I was playing this morning, deposited $9000 and just as I started walking away from the ATM got killed, lucky I just got rid of all my money lol
  21. There should be a bar permanently on the left hand side of the screen for 'ECU Settings' This is where you go to analog inputs to setup your sensors. If it is not there then go to view (up the top) --> ECU Settings This will bring up the parameters you need. Analog inputs in there is where you will find what your looking for Keep in mind that my Link G4 base map had some of the inputs and outputs in the wrong spots (think the CAS was set as an output or something weird) There is information to check everything in the help file, under the wiring or model specific information from memory
  22. Engine news.... Upgraded to a VH45 throttle body. Direct fit on the Greddy manifold and quite a bit bigger than standard throttle body: And thanks to Leon the bung for the IAT sensor is welded into the manifold now. Going to start painting it this afternoon so should look a bit nicer then
  23. Another update this morning. Did the first job for Simieon. Shot the guy but then missed him and he took off. Ended up chasing him halfway around the map and delivered the car with nothing in-tact. Still a great job according to old mate
  24. im wrecked, awake for 28 hours straight, Will try again tomorrow lol
